Sorry if I've forgotten anybody, I realise most of you guys have had your BFPs and there's only a few off us left waiting, but at least you know the thread is here so come back and keep us updated with all your lovely pregnancy stories 😊 For those of us still here, hopefully it won't be too much longer 🙏💖 xx

Thanks @xxcxdonxx @SnookyPook @Jadeypie I'm just home now. Pretty sore but ok. Glad to be in own bed! (Was a bit of an emotional experience as it was same ward and theatre I was in in March 😢) The consultant came to talk to me afterwards. Everything was clear, no fibroids or polyps, tubes clear and ovaries fine👌. I’m absolutely delighted from a fertility point of view but a bit frustrated that there’s no explanation for the constant pain throughout my cycle so I’ll just have to deal with GP for that 🤷‍♀️ I’ll be back to see consultant in a few weeks to discuss plan moving forward with ovulation induction etc and OH's SA results should be back then too 🤞
@Supertrooper101 I laughed out loud at the "spruced up bits" comment 😂 I should be good to go in about 2 weeks time which happens to coincide with my fertile window and my days off work so hopefully the spruce up works! 😂 Really hope you get your appointment soon, it's horrible waiting 😣 x

@Sez281 oh that's so positive and can be some sort of relief that u don't nees to worry about any of that side anymore. Maybe your so sensitive to your body u notice everything that's happening in there but yeh defo a gp issue. I have my scan on Friday I crnt wait. I keep getting pains and twinges in my ovarys throughout my cycle so am eager to see what this scan says. Yeh opks r still dropping looks like my body was going to try but never got there xx

@Sez281 i try my best to lighten the mood in those situations lol that is annoying about the pain side, did nt you have a scan a few mths back that showed problems? I saw my gp and he just said it hormones and diagnosed me with dd pre menstral tension. Which fair does, but 1, before the mmc/d&c my pms was hardly nothing and two, am spending two weeks out of the cycle after ovulation feeling really sick, back pain bloating, alot of things. Surley 8mths on things should have settled. Did the usual, went straight to google lol seems a hormone prostaglandins plays a big part in periods. But how to correct that, i have no idea! Well, cd2 for me.. 32 day cycle. Happy the second part was longer tho. So either a new b6, dhea or no caining the treadmill thats helped 🤷‍♀️

@Sez281 glad to hear that it went well and everything was looking as it should. Although it doesn’t give you any answers for now, it at least eliminates some of the things you mentioned. Perfect timing for the next few weeks too 👌🏼

@Supertrooper101 the waiting around for appointments and referrals to come through is a nightmare. Hoping you get some good news soon xx

@Jadeypie you never know, you may have hit peak later on CD14 and it could have dropped again. I'd still keep testing just in case. Thats great news about your scan tomorrow, hopefully it gives you some answers 🤞 xx

@Supertrooper101 wow your post ovulation symptoms are literally the same as mine. I'm starting to think that it may be hormonal (I looked up prostaglandins and too much oestrogen). I know at our age we put everything down to possible perimenopause but maybe this actually is it 🤷‍♀️ Glad to hear your LP has extended a bit. Sounds like something is working! 🤞 xx

@Sez281 on my private scan it showed fluid in the 'pouch of douglas' lol she said it could be from ovulation or an infection. So down the google path mentioned PID. Normally caused by sti's which wont be the cause so now am wondering if av had an infection since the d&c. Everything is since that bloody procedure. Got s smear test nxt week so may as well ask them to swab for that too lol am so tired of feeling like this and trying to get answers or someone to listen . Am sure you can relate. That gyne appointment hystercopy is down as routine so isnt happening this year 🤬
@Jadeypie whats your scan for tomorrow? Be sure to ask lots of questions even if they wont answer lol you could ask, and then say could you check so and so and ask them to put it in their report.. like how many follicles are there etc

@Supertrooper101 they suspect pcos. Bloods came back hormones elevated, and they have referred me to the specialists. And I got a scan through to check everything. And thanks for the tip. I've already thought about the follicles questions, and I will be asking does it look like ovulation will accure anytime soon aswell haha. Any other questions I should ask? I'll have the poor person harassed. I know they aren't allowed to say much. Xx

@Supertrooper101 I had never heard of the pouch of Douglas. You learn something new everyday 😂 It sounds like you're doing everything you can do. I'm going to book smear for when AF is finished too. Are you getting the hysterocopy done privately?

The only other thing I can put my pain down to may be all the vitamins I've been taking as they coincide with when the all cycle pain so I might take a leaf out of @Westy22 book and drop everything except my prescribed folic acid, DHEA and some CoQ10 and see what happens 🤷‍♀️ Hope you're feeling a bit better @Westy22 xx

@Sez281 yes i’m now back to the dreaded Tww! I’ve been really busy with work and life lately so it’s been a nice distraction to not dwell too much on dates and just see what the next few weeks brings, a bfn likely 🤣

Glad everything went well @Sez281 🙏 I feel rotten, cold is in full swing and I'm already ready for bed with a bottle of night nurse lol hoping that it starts to subside so I can atleast get back to ttc at the weekend 🤣 I'm cd12 today, did one opk yesterday and it was quite low and no signs, so not convinced anything is gearing up to happen yet but I'm writing myself off this month I think. Xx

@xxcxdonxx that's great that you're so busy, nothing worse than being bored in the tww and overthinking everything 🙈 Fingers crossed for you 🤞

AF just arrived for me at 10dpo as expected. Period pain on top of post op pain is really bad 😭 I need to try and extend my luteal phase a bit so going down loads of rabbit holes on that 🤔 I've booked day 3 bloods for Monday to see what my FSH levels are. I should have my progesterone day 21 bloods back then so I'm dying to hear what level they were. I really feel that by getting all my scans and procedures and bloods done this side of Christmas that I'm heading into the New Year armed with all the information I need to make a plan of where to go from here as time really isn't on my side 🙏

@Sez281 that sounds like a good plan! I dont know if my luteal phase was longer cos i changed my 100mg b6 to 100mg p5p by, worth a read, its the better form. If you like to work out, i calmed myne down in the 2nd 2 wks, cud have been that. Cud have been dhea and could be my age spreading them out further 🤣... let me know what you find out. Think you should google that hormone i mentioned about causing all these symptons were having and find us a cure 🤣... am bord of google now lol well,for today lol

@Sez281 had my scan. Women said my ovarys are fine no cysts and she could see any normalitys. She did say I wasn't in my folical stage and she couldn't see any mature eggs so Duno what that's about looks like I have a late folical stage? She didn't mention my womb and I didn't think to ask. So if I don't have cycts and no extra folicals ect does that mean I don't have pcos? And it could be something different urge I duno least the opks won't piss me off now because I know am no where near ovulation ha x

@Supertrooper101 you're a wealth of information! You have me googling P5P now 😂 The pain this evening is horrendous, AF is usually bad but it's d imagine the invasive nature of the surgery has just multiplied it. I'm

@Jadeypie Honestly I'm not really sure what it means. Like I know some cysts are good like corpses luteum mean you ovulated etc. Have you had your AMH bloods done? That level if it is high can indicate pcos. What cd are you on and how long have your last few been? That should give you an idea if they should have seen follicles yet but I guess only your GP will be able to give you all the proper answers. Did they say how long report would be?
No harm continuing with opks either just to see if it rises again, at least you know not to expect anything for a little while 🤷‍♀️ xx

@Sez281 av done alot of research lol but then also seen alot on mumsnet that got me googling oooo whats that then 🤣... vitex is meant to help too, but i ditched that and went to dhea.. av had 4 sessions or 5 of acupuncture now come to think of it too. But i rekon the b6 or for me not exercising so much.@Jadeypie do you have an appointment to discuss the scan compared to your bloods? My drs, if i never made appointments with them, i would never hear back, about anything, ever lol am the opposite with those bloods, my testestorone is low etc. Have you tried myo inositol and d chiro inositol? Thats meant to help lower testosterone and promote ovulation. (@Sez281 you cant take that on dhea cos its counter productive lol )

@Sez281 I'm not sure what AHM bloods are? My last bloods they tested all kinds! I'm on cd19 today, my last two cycles have been 28 last period only last three days I'm always 7 days and my usual cycles are 36. Well she said she could see folicals but no mature egg but then was saying I'm not in my folical stage so that's just confusing. @Supertrooper101 yehh 7 days and then appointment with Dr I will be asking questions no doubt will prob send me for more bloods ect. I'm 100% going to start taking something because only vitimins I take are vitimin c and folic acid I've heard vitimin d helps with folics ect. Xx

@Jadeypie your AMH bloods give you an indication of your egg reserve (I've attached my results, I'm in the 40-44 age bracket) you can see down the bottom what it says about people with suspected pcos. If you usually have such a long cycle then you should continue with opks as you probably haven't ovulated yet. Maybe just once a day until it starts to rise. It's Good that your doc seeing you relatively soon so hopefully you'll get some answers xx

@Supertrooper101 At this stage I feel like throwing them all in the bin. It turns out it wasn't AF starting yesterday, it was just a tiny bit of spotting and the pain was gastrointestinal 😣 I'd imagine it's due to all the medication I am on but was on toilet all night 😭 Just another thing for me to moan about 🤷‍♀️😂

Am in north lincs and the amh test dosent show on the nhs system,she showed me cos i asked for one lol fertility clinic, however, do do that. Moan away @Sez281 lol the way i feel, is, i got pregnant, that was taken away, then every cycle since i have 2 wks where am ill. As if the mmc wasnt punishment enough rolling up to the scan at 12wks and being told that. I cant move om cos my bodys acting like that now which is a constant reminder 🤷‍♀️ its shit lol @Jadeypie have a look at conceive plus ovulation support. I think the myo inositol will help you.av read alot of reviews on it and recall some sounding like your situation. Or may vitex? @Sez281 i cant see your results lol

@Supertrooper101 sorry I'll attach now. The lack of sleep and drugs have me frazzled lol. You really have just summed the shitiness of it up in a nutshell. The pain being the constant reminder (as if we needed one!) I really hope you get your appointment and to the bottom of it soon 🤞 xx

@Sez281 thanks I will talk to the gp about this and see what they say. I will be going armed with all questions haha. I've carried on the opks back to once a day till I start getting some signs and higher readings it has actually started to rise abit flo thinks I will ovulate in 4 days time premom has me Dow. As 2dpo (obviously not ha) xx

Just gegging in on this chat, I might ask for my AMH level to be checked, as the last lot of bloods I had didn't test that 😕 they did FSH, OES, LH and Testo. Is there a certain point in your cycle they should do AMH bloods or can it be done anytime? You @Sez281 and @Supertrooper101 are very knowledgeable lol xx I'm contacting my GP Monday to try and push for some investigations as I'm fed up of just hoping something will happen, I'm 37 in 2 months and it feels shit 😑

It can be done anytime in your cycle @Westy22 Where in your cycle are you now? If you've recently ovulated you should get day 21 bloods too (7 days after ovulation to see what your progesterone levels are) I got mine done the other day and should have results tomorrow. I'm booked in for day 3 bloods tomorrow too (it turns out it was AF and not just spotting)) but I'm glad as I'll get bloods to test all the stuff you had tested 🤞

@Jadeypie that's good that you're starting to see a rise. If you do hit a peak try book in for progesterone bloods 8 days later to check your levels as I was just saying to @Westy22 they're really important ones xx
