I am in a room with closed curtains cause I was just joining my toddler for a nap (he's still soundly asleep) so for me it's so hard to see a line right now so I'll look again later, but I am so happy for you!!! so I mentioned before I’m using opk’s for first time this month and I’ve got the clear blue advanced. I’m CD10 and got an empty circle this morning.
However, been feeling frisky and this evening noticed EWCM. Is it the case you get EWCM days before positive OPK?

@EvelynKatie The same thing happened to me in May. I tested in the afternoon after getting EWCM and feeling frisky (in the morning) the CB advanced showed a blank circle. We dtd that afternoon and I got a BFP. It was the only time we dtd for that month as my OH was away. I hope that helps.

@ThesisthenaViva interesting! I’ve got another empty circle this morning. I’ll keep DTD anyway and see what happens!

@VixFromThe6ix haha it is a stretch to see anything on those ! I am probably starting to see things on tests at this point. Going to try and distract myself for now as I know there is nothing I can do either way.

Hi everyone

I've been a bit quiet in the last week or so mostly because I haven't had anything going on! I hope those of you are at the start of your cycle are doing ok and those in TWW aren't climbing the walls too much...easier said than done!!

I'm looking for some advice...I'm CD12 and due to ovulate CD14. This is pretty clockwork for me and I have always had very strong positive OPKs to indicate as such. However, I'm still currently only getting faint OPKs and blank circles on Clear Blue tests. Normally by now I'd be getting static smilies at least? I normally use first urine of the day which I know isn't the advice but i have always caught positive tests this way and have not needed to test multiple times a day. However when I got blank circle this morning I decided to test at work today (no mean feat but I managed) and I got another blank circle though OPK had risen from this morning.

I'm confused. This has never happened before. The only change I have made this cycle is that I'm taking Proceive, could this effect things? I'll continue to test but I'm concerned that I haven't seen a flashing smiley yet, especially as I normally seem to ovulate 'like clockwork'.

I should also mention we are doing SMEP again so hopefully that will be helping regardless!!

@MrsBP15 it could be the proceive as strangely it can cause cycle changes! It did this to me with my son but actually I ovulated earlier than usual that month around Cd 11 so that was a positive thing for me. I would test twice daily at present morning and evening till you catch peak. Are you checking temp or cervical mucus at all as that can really help with getting idea of fertile time if tests have gone a bit squiff?

@MrsBP15 could be proceive but I personally have no experience with it. For me, I could have low readings on opks and then bam, high reading next day. So it could still rise in the next two days. Attaching my last cycle, I went from 0.11 reading to over 1 in a day. I don't always have gradual rises. In fact, most of my cycles look like this.

@CurlyWurly1991 it's been a day...they say to test every two days to see changes.... But I'm impatient AF so wanted to know if you tested again today and got another line???

Oh and my period came today.... So the start of a new cycle. Going to IUI treatment #2 this month.... I will try to not test at 6dpo 🤣🤣🤣

AF here today. Dpo 9 so quite early. Not sure what's going on there. So out this month.

Sorry @Pineappleapple this happened to me at 9-10dpo this month which was really disappointing. Frustrating but cycles can sometimes just be a bit random some months so I’m hoping for a more sensible one this time

It’s really impossible not to test early I find, I really try to make it to 10DPO at least, but then I find it consumes me and all I want to do is pee on sticks 🙈

On CD8 here, so SMEP is about to commence! Hoping this month is the month…

@Eirlys1986 thank you for your message. I don’t temp currently but I do check CM and husband and I DTD this evening and noticed there was more so maybe it’s on the way but the tests are just lagging a bit?

@VixFromThe6ix thank you. To be fair I’ve had a couple of sharp rises but they’ve mostly been quite steady and I think I just assumed the flashing smiley would have appeared but maybe tomorrow. I’m sorry your period has arrived, wishing you lots of luck for this cycle!

your LH readings are beautiful, I barely get to 1 let alone a reading of 2 😍
Im none the wiser about my situation, my temps are still high so FF is telling me I’m pregnant, I have no symptoms except constipation (sorry!) and negative tests. No AF yet, 21 dpo (1 week late).
It could be an anovulatory cycle with unusually high temperatures. I have been having a lot of hot flushes which is unusual for me so definitely something hormonal going on.

AF has arrived so no OPKs for me next month. Will still work out roughly when peak would be and DTD but taking some of the pressures off for a cycle without wasting it entirely by not trying. This month marks a whole year since we decided to try for our second. I've been quite emotional about it all and very fed up so I think a cycle of not testing all the time will do me good. @Optimist1981 if I find the secret to being relaxed I will share it lol.

@CurlyWurly1991 I hope you get answers soon, it's horrible being stuck in limbo like that with no idea what's going on.

@MrsBP15 mine has been different every cycle with those. I've worked out I seem to always peak around the same day though but I've gone from blank straight to peak, blank for a couple of days then peak, some cycles I get high in there too and others I just seem to have days of blanks. If you keep a record of them then hopefully you'll spot a pattern of when your peak arrives.

I'm still in a limbo myself waiting for AF. I've not done a test since Sunday but I don't feel any different. No symptoms, no sign of AF. Just hate this. I've got a Fertility Emotional Support call on Friday afternoon just to talk through how I'm feeling after the MC. In myself I'm feeling ok, I'm just so frustrated with waiting for my cycle to start again. Makes me feel so out of control and helpless. xx

@BB2023 it can be so frustrating not being able to control our own bodies, or fully understand what's going on in there. Fingers crossed AF arrives soon so you can get back to some normality with your cycles.

CD12 for me now and another empty circle OPK this morning. Had EWCM on CD10 and CD11 will see how it is today. Fertilityfriend is linked to my apple watch and no temp rises yet, but is telling me I'm fertile based on the EWCM... not convinced! Only cycle 3 for me so still unsure of a 'usual' for when I ovulate. Been DTD but might give it a couple days rest until at least a flashy face in OPK in case we run out of steam 😂

@EvelynKatie@BB2023 maybe we should listen to our bodies and not rely so heavily on tech. I had an urge to DTD a whole 3 days after my peak OPK, so technically right at the end of the eggs life. We didn't do it that day as partner needed a break and we were getting narky with each other. I kick myself now in case my body knew best. I'm not sure how to track CM as when ttc and making the most of the 6 day window things get very, how do I say it, busy in there!!! I also abstain from baths when ttc and just shower so as not to disturb what nature is producing to help the sperm. Ideas on this appreciated.
@RoseH36 I really feel for you, I'm 4 months in and can't imagine a full year of negatives. When I feel down I look for miracle stories on message boards and they bring me back up. I also work with a lady who was told she wasn’t able to have kids and delivered a healthy baby at 42 after years of being off birth control. There is no reason why we can't be one of those stories one of these days ❤

Honestly I feel I am one of those miracle stories with my little one. Keep trying. I am so fortunate to have her and I don't go to much into medical things but I never thought it would happen. Would love another but keep your hopes up everyone x
