Dpo 1, tww keep sane

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

Me tooo! 1dpo today, TTC #2. Going to also try not to test until next weekend but not sure if I will really last that long!

How old is your little one?

@pinkandredflowers he just turned 2, so officially not a baby 😂 how old is yours?
Hope I'll last till next weekend, second week is very tempting!

Hey ladies - can I join ! I’m 3dpo today -
last month got bfp followed by a load of bfn …..
thought I’d give it another shot ! Clear blue showed fixed smiles so fingers crossed - 38yrs old. Managed to have cuddles today with a newborn and felt all giddy !! TWW is on !!

@Tes004 welcome, the more the merrier. Sorry to hear of disappointment last cycle. Sounds like you got the right days and I've been successful with clearblues. This time we dtd 1/2/4 days before ovulation so hope we caught it!

Hello! I think I'm 3dpo today. First cycle ttc, I'm 35. Thought I would feel totally chill about it for the first few months but totally not the case!! I wasn't quite expecting to ovulate yet. I just came off contraception in early June and wasn't sure if I had a withdrawal bleed or real period last month. So was doing ovulation tests just to see what might be going on. Then a positive OPK on Friday 🤯

My daughter is also 2! Nearly 2.5 so will be 3 by the time a sibling (hopefully!) comes along.

If it doesn't happen this month I need to take a break for a bit as have some important work stuff in Sept and pregnancy makes me SO SICK so can't risk being in the early 1st trimester any later than this month. So I'm reeeealllly hoping we have done enough this month!

I've been very bloated today post ov, and will no doubt start symptom spotting in the next couple of days 🤣

@pinkandredflowers yes! I hear 3 year age gap is perfect so everything crossed for you. Hope the terrible/terrific 2s are going ok?

We have a few weddings in August so if I'm successful, it'll be very tiring end of summer for us, but I love the idea of a spring baby. Ours is a summer boy and he will be on the younger side when school starts.

@HelloMoon87 im 3DPO TTC #2 but due next Saturday as I have long cycles 🙂

I am going to try and hold out until at least 12DPO
We managed day before Ovulation, day of and day after (DH was away before then so we got it in just in time)

@pinkandredflowers did you take any medicine for sickness? I hear every pregnancy is different, one of my friends had terrible sickness first pregnancy and only mild nausea second time

@longingtobe23 welcome, 12 dpo sounds good! I think that'll be also my goal though really hoping to stay longer without the madness. I had 2 chemicals in Feb and may, both from dpo 11

I went from a ‘o’ then forgot to test on a day then straight into fixed smiley std -1 ov day and day 2 so i don’t know - I wasn’t expecting to ovulate so soon as I’ve been having longer cycles.
I had so many symptoms last month but I didn’t track ovulation - was so excited to see a clear bfp only for it turn bfn so maybe chemical - but definitely ovulated - checked with clear blue - temps and cm - all pinpointed ov so just hope I don’t lose my mind before 2 weeks lol

@HelloMoon87 I LOVE the terrible twos. Give me a toddler over a newborn anyyyyday! I'm a bit scared of newborns (even my own when she was tiny!), I just never knew why she was crying and it used to make me so anxious. Love my very opinionated toddler who clearly expresses what the problem is even if it's completely unreasonable haha.

I really thought we would be one and done because I struggled with pregnancy and newborn soo much but now I love it so much I think it's worth doing again 😂

I was on a bunch of different sickness drugs but still couldn't really function until about 16 weeks! Mad. So good to hear your friend was better the second time, that would be fab!!

@pinkandredflowers we are trying since January but had an early miscarriage (or a chemical) in Feb and then another one in May. So we did bunch of tests in May and looks like we got unlucky rather than some underlying condition (though I didn't do all the tests, but I believe we covered most of it).

True, I also feel like newborn anxiety was a lot for us, I think we only got better when he turned 6 months, though fully better only when he was 18 months. Toddlers have a whole set of different challenges... But we enjoy it more, like you!

Hi ladies; can I hop on?! I think im currently 2dpo. Had my peak on 15th June so think I ovulated on 16th... still trying TTC #1 after a MC back in 2020. PCOS sufferer and first cycle of clomid.

@HelloMoon87 so sorry to hear I’m sure I had a chemical last month, very light positives 2 days late for period and then negatives… also had a very heavy cycle after that

i had some investigations after; HyCoSy and follicle tracking so I really hope the big egg I saw on my left ovary is the one that gets us our BFP

even thinking about it makes me excited and want to test on 10DPO 🙃 but I’m going to try and stay strong as well

Hi everyone. Can I join? I'm 1 dpo today (according to my apps, but I have PCOS so not totally sure).

Is it ok if I join?? I'm 4dpo and the worst for early testing. I reckon I'll hold out until 8dpo even tho I've never had a bfp at 8dpo before!!

@longingtobe23 sorry to hear about the chemical. On hycosy, I've heard that it can increase chances of pregnancy because it "cleans" the tubes?! Fingers crossed. 10 dpo is when I start to get anxious to test but having had 2 chemicals, I kind of feel a bit scared of testing too early, it just makes the whole week go too slowly.
I've done investigations on the hormones, thyroid and the usual scan and semen analysis. All came back normal, so hoping it was just that I got unlucky.
Feeling positive though!

This is baby no5 for us. This is month 2 of ttc. I'm preparing for it to take longer as I've had complications with my periods since an emergency c section 2 years ago

@HelloMoon87 yesss I paid privately after that, so I was guessing that at least one of my tubes were absolutely fine anyway, but it was nice to hear for certain they both flushed!

I also hear positive stories, so the next three months I’m trying as hard as I can.
sadly for me, I know after that we will be coming up 2 years and I’ll be on track for further interventions ☺️

so praying this summer it’s all of our turn! X

How’s everyone getting on ?? I told myself this cycle I wasn’t going to Google lots and keep busy but it consumes doesn’t it 😂
my breasts are on the heavy side today - which I know is all part of normal as well as early pregnancy but I don’t think I normally have it this early in cycle- but more than likely just over analyse it.

@Tes004 yeah my Google search was dpo 2 symptoms and guess what I already saw them in previous cycles so nothing new 🙈
I have some cramps and really hungry. I had some pineapple and pomegranate juice which hope helps with implantation if there was even a conception.

@Tes004 yep, guilty of Googling 3dpo symptoms, have been feeling down today and have slept most of the day. Nipples are sore when touched only and on and off dull cramps in lower abdomen. It's weird how in the TWW everything is noticeable! I also googled if a stye was a symptom lol as i just randomly got one this evening!
