Dpo 1, tww keep sane

Hello!

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

Dpo 4, lost little symptoms, but also had a fairly stressful day. I always worry if stress affects conception but can't help circumstances, also I'm sure lots of people have stress and still get pregnant.

7dpo and couldn't resist testing and of course another bfn. But this month I purposely only have 20mui tests so that I wouldn't test so early. I'm shocked at how little self restraint I have as I'm so level headed normally!!!

iv had the worst migraine all night and I generally get them before my period. I think I’m due on Sunday/ Monday as cycles normally Average 33/34 days and it’s 33 today.

The pact is a very good idea but I don't know if I'll be able to hold out. I'm only 5dpo and just had to talk myself out of testing already this morning 😂

I would really like to wait until the weekend but I'm fairly sure I won't make it past Weds

What do you all do about drinking during the 2WW? I have a work event on weds, maybe I'll just hold a glass of wine haha

@pinkandredflowers I had a couple of drinks during tww for all my pregnancies. I think a glass or two is ok, it probably can make me more relaxed about tww, but this time I'm not drinking (or at least haven't had a drink yet).

Is anyone doing something different this cycle?

@pinkandredflowers i don’t think drinking during the 2WW does much, when I caught in December I drank for Christmas and new years (tho new years I was completely off it and got my positive a few days later). I tried having a drink last night and I couldn’t and wasn’t feeling it, ordered pizza instead! so I’m staying off it.

I am 5dpo today. Is anyone else having sleep changes? I keep waking up really early, considering I sleep fairly late. Midnight/1ish. Today was 6:30 for me and I never wake up early without alarms. Did the same yesterday and the day before.

Headache from hell today - rested in cheap strip which of course bfn only 7dpo or 6
as always I think I can see a line but then remind myself of my false bfp last month so until it’s a clear line I will read as bfn -
my son is having a party this evening so have been sorting the garden out - but currently laying on my bed with a fan blasting over me - I feel unwell today like I’m coming down with something - would have a drink if I didn’t have what feel like a hangover already 😉 x

6DPO - Feels like I don't have much symptoms today. Lower abdomen doesn't ache as much as previously nor does the lower back pain.

My boobs aren't feeling any fuller and that pain I keep looking out for isn't there! Anyone else keep groping their own boobs to see if it hurts or is that just me? Lol

I've had weird sleep patterns too. I keep waking up early too despite sleeping late. And I just woke up from a 2 hour nap!

I also had a dream last night that I missed the mark on ovulation day and didn't get pregnant which is a stark contrast from dreams I've heard people have when they are meant to get a BFP. I've also been reading that just because my progesterone is high doesn't mean that I'm guaranteed to have conceived as so many have said they had bfn after their day 21 progesterone test was high.

Urghhh just feeling deflated as all signs seems to pointing in the wrong direction but can't help holding onto a little hope that it might be different for me.

Hope you ladies are having a better day/weekend. Those that have tested, I don't blame you, I nearly did the same but had to stop myself as I just know it's way too early! Also I think it's ok to have maybe a drink or two during TWW, I've heard people getting pregnant and not actually stop drinking until they got a positive test, but obviously each body and tolerance is different xxx

@pm24 lmao I have also been groping my breasts today hoping to feel pain but nope! Lol. Good to know it’s not just me having weird sleeping patterns though! Don’t feel so deflated just yet it’s still very early for anything, it may only just be starting to implant! I understand though. The 2WW is dreadful.

I’ve noticed a decrease in my appetite today… seeing as the last 5 days I’ve been eating any and everything in sight today I’m not so bothered🤔 I’m clutching at anything at the mo!

@pinkandredflowers my sis used to say drink til it’s pink 🤣 she’s had 3 healthy pregnancies but I’m talking 1-3 wines in that 2 week period. So I guess nothing to write home about 💗

@pm24 i am 7 DPO today - tested because I’m weak lol keep going on the symptoms because you never know, it is hard I just try to jot them down Incase “the is is the month”

I have had some tugs and pulls but mostly KEEP doing stupid things; burnt my hand on the hot tap, over cooked egg and it exploded, dropped a tub of double cream, forgetting things, dropping things …
i mean, not sure if this is a symptom to spot but there ya go!!

@pm24 don't worry about lack of symptoms, definitely had no symptoms at dpo 3-7 in all pregnancies. Only maybe smth dpo 8-10.

I'm only dpo 5, nothing today, kind of wish I had...

I'm only 2 days dpo and the wait is driving me a little cookoo

I start progesterone pesseries twice daily from next Wednesday, which will be 6 days dpo

Anyone else doing this treatment?

If I test negative after a week then it's stop and try again next month otherwise the dosage increases and is stopped if I get as far as 16 weeks (2x MMCs and 1 chemical in the last year)

Anyone having their big 40th birthday before any potential due date?

8dpo for me and still nothing to report other than I normally start PMSing about now and so far, nothing. I really hope that's a good sign! Took another test and of course bfn.

Hi girls ! 8dpo for me also! This tww is horrendous isn’t it! Symptom spotting all the time ! How is everyone, I’m trying to conceive 3rd baby first month trying so hopefully it will be good news for us all! Is anyone experiencing heart burn? I only got heartburn with my other two and never get it just randomly I no I’m symptom spotting but I just can’t help it !

Hi @MrsP20202 I'm month 2 tcc #5!! I'm hoping I get no symptoms!!!! I had no real symptoms with each of mine until at least 6 weeks. But I get back ache and sore boobs etc in the week leading up to AF, so the less symptoms the better for me!!

@Maybebaby12345 oh wow your house must be mad I’d love to have 5 kids! I love kids running round the house haha! With my first she’s 3 I had every symptom going but with my son who’s 1 I didn’t even know I was pregnant I only had heartburn just put it down to putting on a bit of weight then bam positive pregnancy test! This month iv had bad cramps since ovulation bad heartburn where I can’t sleep and last night (I will attach a photo I previously posted this morning) in what I think is implantation bleeding as it was just a spot of blood when wiping since last night cervix is high soft and closed! No more bleeding and still cramping. Oh I hate the tww I hope we get all our positives!

Hey ladies, hoping to join..

I am currently 7/8dpo cycle 1 baby 1, and I feel like I'm already going crazy symptom spotting! I thought I would be quite calm and relaxed about this, but apparently not! We were quite relaxed this month in terms of OPK testing etc, but I have done testing in the past just to get an insight of what my cycle is like and I usually ovulate around CD15, in which I defo had cramps this day. We DTD on cycle day 11 & 15 so hoping theres some kind of chance, but with it being our first month it's probably unlikely!

I've also been grabbing my boobs every now and then to see if they hurt.. I had pretty sore nipples yesterday but they don't seem as bad today! Also been having on/off cramps in the pelvic area and a dull ache in my lower back, but I'm not sure if I'm convincing myself they are there or if they actually are lol! Also been feeling really thirsty yesterday and today, and had to get up for a wee a few times in the night.

I'm getting married in a few days and want to hold off testing until after, but it is proving difficult haha!

@rosecbrm first of all CONGRATULATIONS on your wedding to come ! The tww is absolutely painful I’m terrible at symptom spotting every twinge ever cramp every sore nipple I’m putting it down to maybe this is it haha! My symptoms so far have been heartburn, pressure in lower belly sorry for tmi but like I need to fart but if I do fart the pressure is still there! Cramps since ovulation day, now I don’t know if my tingling nipples are in my head because I want them to tingle if that makes sense 😂 and I also had this tiny blood spit when I wiped last night and now nothing so I’m praying it’s implantation bleeding not due on for another week and I never have bleeding before I’m supposed to start! I’m extremely tired but I don’t know if that down to not sleeping well due to having a 3 year old and a 1 year old who’s teething badly at night. I’m trying not to give in the testing yet but I might just pop to the shops without hubby knowing to get a early detection test and do one tomorrow 🤫 he will kill me if he found out as he wants me to wait until next week I just can’t it’s driving me crazy!!

Ahhh they all sound like really positive symptoms though! I've had really similar, minus the spotting.

@rosecbrm i am 8dpo today but I am going by the Flo app as since having my son my periods have never returned to normal and range between 28 to 34 days some months even 40! So by that app I’m 8dpo. The problem with us girls when we want something this badly we symptom spot and get extremely upset if af arrives ! I’m trying not to put pressure on it this month but it’s so hard to do! I feel like I’m constantly about to start my period I just hope she doesn’t show! How are your cramps are they quite mild?

Yes they are mild! Today it seems like more of a dull ache going round into my back rather than cramps. How about you?

@rosecbrm exact same with me ! My cramps have gone round to my back and hips just a slight pressure in my belly now

oh don’t I know if I go buy a test today i will end up testing just to see if anything’s there! If it’s a bfn I’ll test on my period day (well if I can hold out) 😂 I would suggest holding out as long as possible it gets quite expensive and addictive 😂 I’m just very weak when it comes to poas

I’m 8DPO today I think. Yesterday I had cramping a bit like period pain. I got a bad headache in the evening. I also felt so tired but had a bad nights sleep and kept waking up. Boobs a little sore this morning.

I kind of feel like this could all be normal hormonal stuff pre period but I wouldn’t normally have cramping… hoping it was implantation pain? And headache and insomnia and boob pain all part of that. Eeek.

My partner and I decided not to test until 15DPO. He wants to be there. I don’t have any tests in the house so think I should manage it. Although obviously it’s going to kill me!
