TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

By my guess work I would be due on Tuesday -Thursday so I’m with you !! No signs of af yet ‘ boobs are something else right now tho

Your temp goes up slightly after ovulation and stays up until AF/throughout pregnancy. It can take a couple of days for your temp to rise after ovulation though, and I got my positive OPK and had ovulation pains 2 days before my temp went us so I suspect I am 13DPO (rather than the 11DPO my temperature alone would suggest) x

@bookworm100 i don’t understand the temping side of ovulation? Want to do it next cycle. What do I have to do?

@Tes004 im also due Thursday according to flo. I have been using the CB ovulation digital tests and I don’t know how accurate they are. As I had 3 static smileys this cycle. It really confused me. I want to learn how to temp to do it properly .

@HelloMoon87 Thanks, I’ll probably give the docs a ring whenever my period shows up. Already did a Hertility test a couple months ago and everything was normal apart from my thyroid levels but I already know about that. I don’t know what the nhs test but it might be a long waiting list so I may as well get on it. I’ll definitely join the next thread 😊

@BlossomTree123 wow, 3 static smileys… I’m not sure I trust cb digital hearing that. I might try temping too.

8/9DPO and I caved and did a CB early detection test and got a BFN. Going to pop to boots today and try and get a pink dye if I can.

@BlossomTree123 I had a temp dip this morning so I guess af should show in the next day or so unless I did ov really late and implantation dip ! Time will tell , I will retest in a bit when I can be bothered to face a stark white test again lol

@cosymama2020 are the pink dye more reliable?

my temp every morning? And if so from what CD? Yes hate BFN makes you see so low that it isn’t the time this cycle.

Exactly the same here @Tes004 - BFN and temp has dropped slightly. Not yet below the coverline but it looks like AF is on it's way. I'll update if anything changes, otherwise I'll join next month's thread!

@BlossomTree123 - it's not simple to explain how to temp over message. I would buy the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility which explains it really clearly. You can join the group Fertility Awareness Method of Birth Control on Facebook while you're waiting for the book to arrive and to ask questions once you get started.

My advice for anyone is throw away any one step test you have. They are so inaccurate. So 3 false positives yesterday.

I can feel AF is coming, but those are tests that are giving false hope!

@BlossomTree123 I’ve heard that pink dyes are the best for early detection. I used a pink one for my first pregnancy and it came up BFP straight away when I’d had 4x negative with Clearblue early detection!

I had 2 false positive with cb this month !
@BlossomTree123 temp before you get up in morning - I do sometimes miss the odd day as my memory sucks ! You usually drop during ovulation and also just before af - however you can also drop during implantation but it starts to give you a good idea of what’s happening when also tracking cm etc usually after ovulation temp goes up and stays up til next ovulation x

@cosymama2020 bleeding much heavier than my normal periods so! I’m definitely out this month!

@HelloMoon87 yeah maybe they were evaps then!? Not sure what’s wrong with this period this month, it’s deffo heavier which is unusual. Maybe it’s due to me going back to the gym and changing my diet after so many months?!who knows! Sorry you also got your af! 🥺

@BlossomTree123 if they are false positives I’d be so surprised. As your line does look dark. Hopefully that’s not the case for you!

Hello everyone, please can I join! I'm 7 dpo and the wait is agonising!!

Morning girls sorry iv been absent iv been doctors and looks like iv had a chemical :( started bleeding really bad with loads of clots (my period is always light not clots) doctors took a blood test and got the results yesterday the hcg has dropped took test this morning and the line is so light now so defiantly a chemical 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just catching up with the chat xx

I started spotting yesterday, mostly pink and watery red but did have one bit of stringy/gloopy deep red so guessing I'm out as still negative tests at 13DPO by temp rise, 15DPO by LH!

Still driving myself crazy though and thinking it could be possible as late implantation bleeding etc...can't wait to know definitively either way as I am driving myself totally mad. I guess if it was implantation it would take another couple of days to turn positive?

I have very light periods anyway so maybe I'm already on my period. If my temperature drops below my coverline I'll have to accept it, until then I keep temping!

Are we creating a new thread for next cycle?
