Dpo 1, tww keep sane

Hello!

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

Sorry to jump in but I’m confused!!

So started testing on CD 9 (period finished CD 6.

Using clear blue digital Was negative and then got a still smiley (peak fertility) CD 11.

Kept resting as wanted to know my cycle and tested negative CD 13 so according to that was fertile for the 2 days (but looking at the lines I wasn’t convinced.

CD 14, tested positive static smiley again
CD 16 tested positive static smiley again (lines more convincing as line darker than test line) and also had like jabbing pains which I thought was ovulation.

Tested negative CD 17/18/19

Had a stitch like jabbing pain in CD19 constantly on and off for hours.

Then today CD 21 have a flashing smiley meaning HIGH fertility.

I’m so confused. Has anyone experienced this?? Looked at the lines from todays test and they are dark so would indicate a LH surge like when I tested positive on CD 16.

AF isn’t due until the 20th so way to early to test for pregnancy but I’m well confused!!

@MrsP20202 I have some lower abdomen sensitivity / cramps going on but nothing else to suggest! Boobs always a good one though 🤞🏻

@BlossomTree123 do you suffer from pcos?
I have heard you can have a few peaks if so and therefore using temps and watching cm changes to pin point better ?? X

@BlossomTree123 I agree with above if pcos can peak a few times or your body can try to ovulate again sometimes?
are your cycles usually regular?
but also find smile CB very frustrating at times - i guess you’ll find out which was true ovulation if you get your BFP :) I would start TWW from latest peak and see what the luteal phase is!

Hi @Tes004 no never been diagnosed with pcos have have a baby already so have had checks so I’m guessing if I had they would have noticed during pregnancy 1.

thank you, no do not have pcos, have regular cycles 28 days. Always been very healthy and as mentioned have a baby no 1 so have had a healthy pregnancy. Just find it so strange with the several peaks and now after days of negative getting a flashy smiley meaning I’m high! So weird.

@BlossomTree123 ooo how interesting then I do have pcos diagnosed after baby no.1 5 years later I didn’t know as regular cycles and periods - but I have only ever gotten one peak every month so I don’t think it’s a hard and fast rule anyway

it is very difficult to suggest how or why
you could always temp BBT next time to see which could confirm ovulation? But hopefully you won’t need to and see success soon! :)

This thread is exactly what I need right now! I’m only 2dpo and already over thinking every twinge, feeling etc. I fell pregnant with my first easily without testing ovulation and I had no idea how much conceiving actually entails!

Im literally only 2DPO but had an awful headache today and had to have a nap I was so tired so of course I’m Googling those symptoms 😂

Hubby see test on bin and says he can see a line - I can kind of see a hint of something but explained that I done it this afternoon so shouldn’t read it -

thoughts ?? And yes I’m now the mad one in the group- shadow seems darker in person

@Tes004 I can defo see a line. Did that come up within 10 mins or only after you'd binned it? How many DPO are you? It defo looks promising xx

I love how active this thread is, everytime I open Mumsnet there is loads to read. So sorry if I'm missing interesting updates!

How many DPO is the earliest you guys have got real positives? I think I was 10 with my daughter.

7 tomorrow so as much as I'd love to not test till the weekend I'm pretty sure I will keep testing from now on !!

I hope for many bfps in this thread.

So after my leaky boob moment, I've had ovulation type of cramp all evening... Something must be happening but I don't want to keep my hopes up too much in case of disappointment of bfn or even worse, a chemical

Welcome @cosymama2020 how old is your first? Dpo 1 is when I created this thread, feel free to symptom spot anytime, we are all doing it 😁

@BlossomTree123 welcome! I find clearblue can have these oscillations so use easy@home to double check the darkness. Also stress can sometimes mean body tries to ovulate few times.

@MrsP20202 wow you're my hero. How are you doing with 3 and 1 year old? I'm struggling with my 2 year old tantrums. But I guess that's how old they would be if I was pregnant now ..

I’m still getting low low cramps so just praying it’s implantation pains - however I had these very badly with my son and it lasted ages. Not touching the sides as much as that

but still something is stirring 🍀🥲 pleeeading with myself it’s a sign ✨

i have been checking the lines with the clear blue to not just trust the digital face. Definitely had 2/3 spikes weird!!

I have a slight headache this evening, gassy still… cramps have kind of gone now. 7dpo tomorrow and I think I might give in and start testing too 💀🤣I feel left out not peeing on sticks

Up bright and early to test at 7DPO and of course it was negative! I wish I could say I knew better and would wait a few days but I suspect I'll be testing tomorrow and every day until I'm out! Good luck any one else who's testing today!

@bookworm100 sometimes okay to just do it then carry on with the day haha but as you say, always every chance in the coming week
i just did my 9dpo and nothing to report - still got tenderness and pulling in my lower belly and ovaries 🤞🏻

just holding onto the next two days and usually if negative I wait it out until Aunt Flo then

Good morning ladies ! It was out of the time scale so I’m trying to plan baby names 😂
but I did move to cb as thought didn’t do this so much but when I look on Google AGAIN you still see evaps - I should have simply thrown the test properly. I the natural light it looked much better ,,,
I will retest Wednesday before I head away ! 2 more sleeps ,,,
