TTC a Rainbow...

Hello everyone. I thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone else is out there TTC their rainbow baby 🌈 and wants to join me?

Any loss is a valid loss here, early miscarriage, late miscarriage, chemicals, TFMRs etc. I know we can sometimes face judgement from others or have others not understand!

@Daniki nope their plan is to give me progesterone from 6 weeks, that's when baby stopped growing last so I might try push them for more like 4 weeks! Xx

Thank you... Its a different brand coz I've no frer left so it's lighter but it's definitely there 🎉🎉🎉🎉🤯

@Kellyaust push them to give you the progesterone from now as that doesn't make any sense waiting to 6 weeks. That line is definitely not lighter 😍 xx

I went for a private scan today as I ovulated on Wednesday and again my womb lining was thin, so I definitely have some kind of hormone imbalance. Feeling really upset right now 😭

@naggy095 aw I'm so sorry, can that be treated though? Like taking progesterone from just after ovulation??? Xx

@Kellyaust if it’s caused by low oestrogen then I can get that prescribed. Won’t be able to find out or get it for another month minimum though ☹️ my blood test isn’t till 11th September and going by my ovulation apps that’ll be CD11, won’t get the results until after ovulation, so will be too late already for that cycle for the oestrogen prescription to do anything. Feeling really down that I’ll have to wait for a few months at least for my hormones to be ‘normal’ enough to support a pregnancy when you always hear about others getting pregnant again straight after a MC 😞

I did another test this morning at roughly 18DPO and it is much darker so that's good 😊

Feeling good for the most part! Definitely feel anxious at times, but mostly feeling happy and am able to feel positive which I'm really happy about. With both my other pregnancies by now I was either being sick a lot or at least had intense and fairly constant nausea and food aversions. This time it's still just tiredness/insomnia really and the mood swings, only thing I've done differently is take ginger root tablets from getting my bfp... so I'm wondering if that's really helping.

How are you feeling?

@naggy095 i know it's not ideal but if now the cause is known then even waiting an extra 2 months will be worth it to get your sticky bean, my mmc was may and I've only just got my bfp.... So yeah conceiving straight after is not always the case. Sending you hugs xxx

@Jessie30 - Thanks ever so much. Yes, I think trying to relax and not putting any pressure on anything is key as I think that's how this pregnancy seemed so easy - We were not trying. Even though we will now be actively trying, I've just got to try and not make it my everything - even though that will be hard to do.

@Halpmer - Hope all is going well with your pregnancy. Thank you very much for the advice. I'm certainly trying to process things at the moment. Everything seemed so dark to begin with but as i've gotten through the weekend - I'm starting to believe that it could happen again and I have hope in my heart again.

Can I please ask a question - Are my period dates likely to return to how they were before the MC? Or do I class the MC as a period and try to calculate from there? or do I need to wait for my first proper AF post MC to try to properly work out where I am in my cycle?

@Roxystar23 I'm so sorry for your loss ♥️ I treated the MC as my period and so worked it on from that. My head wasn't in TTC straight away so for my next period it all went back into my usual cycle length x

Thank you @Vic231 - It's more for trying to plot my cycle pattern as all my previous cycle data has wiped in my app since I plotted the pregnancy so I just wanted to be able to figure it all out. X

@Roxystar23 my period returned 2 Weeks after my miscarriage so I didn't count it as one. X

And thank you @Roxystar23 honestly theirs hope, I've been a mess since may but this cycle I finally relaxed about it and got my bfp!!

I just want to thank everyone on here, as well as other threads, I don't think I'd have got through this time without all the support I've had! I wish you all the best with your bfps and those that have yet to get them they will come. I am hoping so much that we all have great endings, I'm thinking positively ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
