Hello everyone. I thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone else is out there TTC their rainbow baby 🌈 and wants to join me?

Any loss is a valid loss here, early miscarriage, late miscarriage, chemicals, TFMRs etc. I know we can sometimes face judgement from others or have others not understand!

Hey @Halpmer I'm officially in the TWW. It always helps me a bit mentally as I know there's no more I can do 😅 god TTC is such a rollercoaster!

@Vic231 I agree about the reassurance of 'there's nothing else I can do', settles me a bit! I'm alright... 13dpo... got my bfp early 🎉 but period isn't due until Wednesday if I'm going off of a 34day cycle, so I'm tentatively feeling positive!

I'm 7dpo here so same timeline as you @Vic231. I'm glad you're feeling more settled now.

Im a bit anxious, hormonal and upset which is most likely pms. I don't think I've conceived, but it's difficult not to have that shred of hope! I ended up having a few wines this weekend at a meal which probably hasn't helped 😞 but onwards and upwards, there's always next month!

Hi everyone, glad I found this thread as I was starting to feel a bit lonely during this MC. Would have been DC#2. I’m so sorry for everyone else who has suffered a loss.
I started bleeding last Thursday and I think it’s finishing today. I was 5+4 at the time. Absolutely devastated but keen to starting trying again as soon as we can. But I think I have an issue with my womb lining, it was too thin when I was scanned at the EPAU and I noticed my periods have been light and short, not like they used to be before we were ttc. I don’t even know if the GP can do anything about it or what I can do. I might get a private mid-cycle scan to check the lining thickness in a couple weeks and then speak to the GP afterwards. Has anyone else experienced this?

Top test is CD 24 and bottom is today CD 26, I had been ovulating previously on CD17-19 so had an early one this month. Keeping all fingers crossed that it sticks!!

Aaw @Vic231 im glad to hear that! I do feel really shit and hopeless sometimes, honestly finding this thread has helped me loads. It's made me realise I'm much better at supporting others than myself sometimes! And being there for each other and seeing others deal with it gives you a bit more strength in a way.

i haven't had that same exact thing but I had a super light period after mc2 and googled loads and apparently this is normal sometimes.

I've also been really worried about low progesterone levels as my luteal phase got quite short for a while and that can be related to not building up a thick enough womb lining for implantation. It might be worth asking your gp / private docs about progesterone if you have any other symptoms.

I've seen lots of people saying they manage to conceive with shorter and lighter periods so it might be nothing to worry about at all - I know how hard it is to stop yourself thinking or worrying about it though.

Thank you everyone 💕 I was supposed to get a call from my GP today to see how I’m getting on but haven’t got one yet, hopefully she’ll call this evening and then I can ask her for advice RE the thin womb lining. Even the MC bleeding was quite scant.

@naggy095 you're welcome, I was hoping for you 😓 I've been struggling a bit think my OV has changed a lot since the MC and i just don't feel positive so I'm considering it being a sign for me to stop trying 🥺

Thanks all! Hoping it sticks! I ended up testing really quite early as I expected... and now have quite the collection of tests 😳🫣

@Jessie30 first cycle was technically recovery after Jude's birth. So this has been my first proper cycle since! I'm sorry you're feeling upset though, it's tough isn't it? You're not out until AF arrives, but sometimes gut feelings say more than we know.

@naggy095 I'm sorry for your loss, I hope this thread brings as much comfort to you as it has for many of us. I haven't experienced what you talk about but others here may have.

I have heard good things about the boots tests, so thought I would give them a go. The FRER drive me slightly crazy!

I find the boots early tests the best and you can get them cheaper with boots advantage card 🤗

@Kellyaust I’m sorry you’re feeling that way 😞 I hope this doesn’t sound patronising, but have you tried not tracking ovulation for a couple months so you don’t feel the pressure as much? Do you know where abouts are you in your cycle today? I’ve read some stories of women whose cycles get a bit messed up after a MC but only temporarily. Hopefully it goes back to normal soon. I’m really hoping for you to get a BFP 🤞🏼

@naggy095 the thing is I don't even need to track OV tbh because I get sooooo much pain and swelling I know exactly when I OV.... Its always been from the left side which has been very lucky because my right side tube is blocked with fluid.... But since the MC I've ovulated from the right 😩 so all my efforts are going to waste... I'm due to ovulate again this Thursday or Friday and I can feel it coming already.....on my right. 🥺 Devastated tbh I don't know why my body is doing this to me when u need it most but what can I do 🤷‍♀️

@naggy095 exactly yes I can't just try forget about it for a while. Oh well, our bodied do test us don't they.. I really hope you're recovering as well as possible ❤️

Was looking through handbags in my room for a tampon and found the scan of the baby I lost in November and Jesus that knocked me for 6, it's just filled me with an overwhelming sadness as I haven't been able to conceive since 😓
