1DPO and starting the TWW - who's with me?

Third cycle ttc #1, 2nd cycle using opks.

Ovulated yesterday (peak on Wednesday) and dtd Wednesday night.

I've got 23-25 day cycles and seem to have a 11 day luteal phase, so due on the 30th.

Anyone else around the same dpo wanting to ride the tww out together?

Hoping to hold off on testing until I'm 10dpo at the earliest, but we'll see.

Gearing up for the symptom spotting to begin in a week or so, even though I know I shouldn't.

@Hellsbells89 that's really cool both my boys are September 🙈 maybe I need to stop trying until dec/Jan lol 😆

🤞 everyone gets their bfp. 9dpo today but not tested yet trying to hold off. Woke up with a really sore belly this morning though otherwise feel normal. I feel like this isn't the cycle either I think intuition is a thing. With my youngest I knew before I even took a test

I know what you mean about the intuition thing @ddaisynner, I have the overwhelming feeling that I just know I'm not pregnant, despite my brain still holding out hope.

I think for some who have been ttc for a little while it might just be a form of defense though? Like just trying to convince yourself you're not so you're not as disappointed if it isn't your month.

Hopefully it's a bfp for you in a few days!

@ddaisynner yes same, I just knew I was pregnant with my daughter as well before I tested! I just felt different, I couldn't explain it

@XenaTheWarriorPrincess I actually read before that apparently pomegranate juice helps aid blood flow to the womb, so the cycle I fell pregnant with my daughter I drank loads of it, but obviously I have no idea if it actually helped 😅 but I'm definitely going to drink it again during the next TWW

@naggy095 ooo, I'll give the pomegranate juice a go as well next cycle. Can't hurt at least. I think pineapple is supposed to be good as well, but I can't remember why.

I am due AF tomorrow or Thursday. Going to try not to test but I am going to the hospital tomorrow for tests at the early loss clinic so presumably they'll check my bloods anyway.

I actually secretly really don't mind if I don't conceive this cycle, worked out that the due date would be the day after my birthday 😅 cycle after this one would be super close to dp birthday as well.

I think there's something to do with womb temperature? So warmer months can be better for women who always have cold hands/feet. Better circulation of warm blood to the womb or something? Don't remember properly.

I'd love an April baby (the goldilocks month, not too warm and not too cold), which would be 3 cycles from now (cycle 5, this is cycle 2), so every non successful cycle until then I can just write off as 'practice' 😅

Obviously if I catch before then that's still great, but I'm keeping everything crossed for that April baba!

That's so interesting as I'm always cold! The times I've fallen pregnant then MC have all been winter.

I am also dreaming of an April baby! My son was born in April and it really is the perfect time of year 😅

@ddaisynner 9DPO twins! I know what you mean about just knowing. I know I'm out this month but part of me is still holding out hope. Although saying that I never knew with my son either!

Excited to hopefully see some bfp coming in the next few days. I read through old threads all the time and get proper invested in everyone's journey's 😅 be nice to do it in real-time for once!

I defiantly wish ttc was easier c": I'm gonna add pomegranate juice onto my shopping list haha it would make a good girl sway as well because it's an acidic drink but I'll try anything. Some people must find we are crazy the stuff we do I've done all sorts this week like wearing thick socks and eating little icecream as heard they are good with the ttw 🤣🙈

@LeopardLover Woop be so cool of we had due date twins lmao 🤣 af is due the 4/5th it's gonna be the longest week ever that's for sure and then start it all over again 🙈 I might have a month off just to breathe a bit it's stressful lol

Just caved and tested…obviously bfn as only 8dpo, not on early detection test, and not fmu. Just been feeling lightheaded all morning so thought I’d go for it.

Feeling silly for wasting a test really but it was only a £1 one so not end of the world. I’ve only got 1 cheapy and a clear blue digital left so no testing for me now until Saturday, which will be 12dpo, technically day before AF due but won’t be able to test Sunday as we are up and out really early for the day.

The cheap tests have definitely helped stop me bankrupting myself the last couple of months @Pastaf0rbreakfast 😅

AF hasn't turned up quite yet, but the cramps suggest it's a few hours away at most. Going by when I got my peak, I'm expecting it late tonight or early hours tomorrow morning, so I'll likely wake up to it if it doesnt come before bed.

Fingers crossed for anyone testing tomorrow morning!

I've been testing every morning and I'm getting really nice line progression 🙌 have a good feeling this going to be a sticky one 🙏

Hopefully you'll all be joining me soon with the BFP

It isn't until tomorrow morning. I caved today and tested on a boots test, but it was at like 7pm and I think I'm only about 9dpo. Got an indent which is even more annoying than a stark BFN haha

@BudgetBuster Eeek, are you sure that's an indent? I've never used them before but I've read lots of threads where women swear they aren't known for indents!

The line looks pretty white so I'm not confident it's even a faint positive. Will retest tomorrow with FMU to be sure. And thank you very much @LeopardLover

Thanks @LeopardLover glad I had the mind not to waste an expensive test.

I had decided to stop symptom spotting after bfn this morning but my dizziness/lightheadedness has continued most of today. This afternoon I was so tired, I took a nap with DS. Woke up with heartburn. Then, this evening, my gums have been sore and bleeding randomly after eating.

Trying to forget about symptoms and then my body throws all that at me. Still probably nothing but makes it hard to distract myself!

Fell asleep at like 8pm and just woke up a while ago 🤦‍♀️ gonna be knackered later 😅

No blood as of yet. It's technically possible that what happened on 6dpo (tiny spot of blood) was totally unrelated and I implanted later, so could be pregnant, but it's also possible that I ovulated later than thought after my peak, so am actually due on today.

Couldn't resist doing a test, stark white negative on a 10mui, so I guess I'll just wait and see if AF arrives today.

AF arrived this morning, going to track my BBT this cycle so I did my first one this morning when I woke up.
Bought loads of pomegranate juice and decaf tea and coffee for this new cycle. Also going to buy pre seed lube as I noticed I didn't have any egg white or watery CM last cycle so hopefully that'll help too 🤞🏼

13dpo for me today. Been having so many symptoms, but still lots of BFN tests.

Nausea, headaches, exhaustion, cramps, and oh god I have had major heartburn the past two days and I never get heartburn. I've also come down with a horrible cold. I literally have so many 'symptoms' and yet still stark white BFNs.

AF due on Monday (I ovulated early this month I think so may come earlier than that as my cycles are usually bang on 28 days).

@naggy095 Sorry you're out 😔 Love your plan though! I might stock up on some juice too. I use Conceive Plus but it's not the best.

@winterbabyrose There is a chance you implanted late. Especially with all those symptoms!

I have lots of cheapies kicking around so got a BFN at 10DPO 😅 I won't test again unless AF is late but my gut tells me I'm out this month as I've had no symptoms. I'm totally fine though! Will improve my diet next month.

Sorry to hear that @naggy095 , new cycle, new chance. Hopefully the juice and pree seed help you get your bfp next month.

It can take up to a week to show on a test after implantation @winterbabyrose , so not out yet.

My boobs have stopped hurting now, which usually happens day of AF, so I'm just waiting for the bleeding to start. Hoping it's before 6pm as we're doing a games night later and really would rather not come on mid board game 😅
