I thought I’d create this thread if anyone wants to jump on.

I have a little boy who was 2 in April 💖

we decided in March to start trying for baby #2 and we were delighted to get pregnant that same month! Unfortunately we lost the baby at the end of April at 6w 4d

The MC is completed and I have taken an OPK this morning which looks to be really high. Not quite peak but definitely high which is just great that I’m ovulating again! I didn’t know what would happen. We both feel ready to try again this month so will be going for it.

@HopeAndStrength the wait is a killer for that scan how many weeks are you now? I remember the cravings mine was cakes like birthday cakes the sweeter the better even when I was in labour I was going on about brownies 🤣🤣 do u have cravings? I love reading about symptoms ha xx

@Freddie15VES congrats on ur 3+ 🎉🥳 it’s a lovely peace of mind. We came on holiday Wednesday morning when I got the 3+ so it deff feels like everything is out of my hands now for the next 3 weeks and I just have to trust that everything will be ok. I have to try hide it at this wedding tomorr too 🙈😅 🤷🏼‍♀️

@HopeAndStrength congrats on ur bfp, I’m not sure if said it before❤️ Similar to u I get that sick feeling if I get hungry so I just haven’t allowed myself get hungry in abt 3 days 😂 constantly eating 🙌🏽

Ahh @Freddie15VES so happy for you, I can imagine how amazing it feels to reach these milestones after a loss.

@Jadeypie you said it would arrive just in time for hols 🙈 least you know where your at!

So I have no idea where I'm at still, EPU said my first bloods were 12 so sat in a grey area of either lingering hormone or very very early pregnancy stage. Yesterday after 45 hours they were 9 so dropped slightly but epu still seem confused about what/why it's still there. I think they are debating if ive had a chemical or has my hormone just took 25 years to settle. Brown spotting has stopped, they asked if I was in any pain which I'm not just get the odd cramp feeling..so I'm back Monday for bloods again lol hopefully by Monday I'm thinking it should technically be below 5? And may get a period shortly after x

@Westy22 ah at least u know it’s coming down, the last 3 weeks or so of taking my bloods it was coming down by 1 a week, painfully slow so I’d say it’s the same for u. Please god it’s down at least another 1/2 by Monday🙏🏽 I was 8 weeks before they released me finally down to 5 (should have been under 5 but I think they were as sick of seeing me as I was of them😅)

how many week since MC are u now?

@Westy22 oh that's frustrating but hopefully will become clearer soon, AF will come and then you'll be back on track.

How's everyone else doing?

So PreMom app had me supposedly ovulating today but opks still very negative. I think the app was basing it off my unusually shorter cycle last month which I hope was just a post-mc blip so if going back to my more normal pattern I'd probs expect to ovulate around Sun/Mon. Lots of dtd just in case and hopefully we'll manage to time it right! 😂

Down to 7 today so hospital are comfortable with discharging me thank god, desperate to try again so need my body to hurry the hell up and kick start a cycle again lol x

@Westy22 ah that’s good to know at least and please god Af comes soon now so u can get started. I know I felt the exact same as u, I just wanted to get on with the next cycle and be pregnant again. I’ve everything crossed for u for this cycle 🕯🤞🏽🙏🏽❤️ How are you feeling?

It's a weird feeling @DmcinT it's a relief to know kind of where I'm at now and I feel a bit more myself. I've calm down alot too and don't feel the urge to go buy 10 million pregnancy tests anymore lol I've been looking into the best way of tracking ovulation, but then I don't know if that will work for us as my partner has openly said he doesn't want it to turn into a military mission..so will ovulation tracking make me obsessed? Lol x

how are you? X I've weirdly had the strongest nausea feeling the last two days so wondering if that's a sign AF is coming? Although I've never had that prior to MC x

@Westy22 ah I'm pleased to hear that. It's so frustrating when your body is lagging behind your head!! Hopefully AF is on her way and you can get back into the swing of things.

So CD16 and my LH is finally rising! Got a high reading this morning so hoping for a peak this evening or tomorrow 🤞🏻Westy, I just use the cheap OneStep opk test strips off Amazon. You can get a mega pack very cheap. I don't temp or anything but I do find it useful to track my peak LH and have got pregnant twice doing so. My first pregnancy I ovulated quite late, CD18, and the second one, CD13. Also, since my MMC, my periods haven't settled into a regular pattern again yet - I had a much shorter than usual cycle last month - 25 days with ovulation day 12, and my PreMom app predicted me as ovulating last Friday this time however because of my tracking, I know it's likely to be tomorrow or Thurs now. If I was basing it purely on Apps or expected cycle length, I could well have timed DTD poorly this cycle and missed an opportunity. However, you can tell your partner or not, as you wish so he doesn't need to know you're tracking 😉 Also, haha maybe it does make you a bit more obsessed but tbh, I'd be constantly thinking about conceiving and babies regardless so at least this way I feel I'm doing something a bit proactive about it 😂

@Freddie15VES I'd be up for the new thread! I'm 5w2d pregnant now, this thread feels like a good place to post as I dont want to go on about being pregnant too much on miscarriage threads, and also don't want to bring too much miscarriage anxiety to general pregnancy threads!

@SnookyPook hello pal, that's exciting you're likely approaching your peak. Well done keeping up the opk tracking and staying optimistic, hope you get your peak in next day or two.

For what it's worth @Westy22 I agree with @SnookyPook that some tracking really does increase your chances, and you can do it without letting your partner know or having them be as into the detail as you are. My husband knew I was tracking stuff (I temped as well as lh testing) but I didn't go on about it to him too much. My cycles went irregular after my loss and I'd never have caught the ovulation a few weeks ago (current pregnancy) if I wasn't tracking.

This is my fave thread 😉😚 I agree with Hank - it's a good middle ground between the conception and miscarriage threads but in a special place all of its own! Oh wow, that must be a bit nerve-wracking but also exciting to be so close to passing your previous loss date. 🤞🏻🌈💕

@Hankthehonk thanks lovely! Got an even higher reading this eve so hopefully peak has been hit, or will be tomorrow. We've been DTD every other day since last Monday due to the predicted ovulation of last Friday and we managed to today while toddler was napping! Just as well because he was a little bugger at bedtime and didn't settle properly until gone 10!!! So... Hopefully we're in with a chance!! 🤞🏻🌈

We're still on holiday which is so lovely and definitely helping me be less nervous. Appreciating the time with dh and dd so much, and every now and again catch myself wondering if this is our last holiday as a family of 3. There are lots of families here and I'm noticing those with similar age gaps to the one we will hopefully have, trying to picture us with two kids.

It's exhausting caveating every thought about this pregnancy with "hopefully"/"if it happens"/"all being well"...but think I'm a long way from being able to stop that

@Hankthehonk im the exact same caveating everything with ‘hopefully’, or ‘all going well’ it’s so sad that a MC really robs u of the excitement, it’s like u can’t really let urself believe it. I really hope that fades a bit if we get over the 12 weeks mark and all is ok 🤞🏽🙏🏽

we are on holiday atm too, it’s lovely to just nap whenever needed. What will the gap be now between ur 2?

@DmcinT I'm really hoping for some peace of mind if we make it to a healthy 12 week scan, that feels so far away!
My daughter will be 3 next month so it'll be just over 3.5 year age gap, which is pretty much what we both always said we wanted. What about you? Remind me if you have kids and what age....sorry I lose track of who's who on the threads

I've decided you guys are right and I've ordered some sticks to start tracking ovulation, hopefully it will help with working out my cycle again. What apps do you guys use? I've got Flo atm and it's been pretty accurate, I think it was bang on with ovulation dates for when we conceived my first pregnancy. X

So the ovulation sticks arrived and naturally I went and tested one 🤣 would you say this was negative or positive tho? Im not quite sure. Never really used them so haven't seen how much they alter in colour x

@Westy22 this looks very close to peak to me! I'd say test again later today, and dtd today and tomorrow if you can.

I recommend the premom app precisely because it tells you an exact reading for these tests when you upload a photo. So youre not just doing it by eye.
Advice is when they start to darken to test twice daily so you don't miss your peak.

@Westy22 download the Premom app and u upload this pic and it tells u if it’s high or peak, it’s brilliant, esp when ur unsure but I’d say this is pretty much peak. Happy DTD 💃🏼

@Hankthehonk no kids here yet, I’d a MC end of March with triplets but that was my first ever pregnancy so nervous for multiples again on this one. I’m in for a scan in 2 weeks so I’ll know more then (all going well❤️)

Downloaded the prenom app after some googling and it says im in my fertile window 🤞 will test again later and see what it looks like. Now I need to up my game and lure the bf in 🤣🤣

Hi everyone, I just had my booking appointment with the midwife and now have a 12 week scan coming up mid July.
Almost keeled over when she took my bloods, which has never happened before! Have been told to go eat some cake...

@DmcinT that's right, I remember now! Sorry 🙈 Are there multiples in your family? Really hope all is well this time, however many babies you have in there.
That's good to hear about your sister. There are 5 years between me and my sister and we are super close so I've never been too worried about a bigger age gap. But for our own lives, careers etc plus my dh already being 40, we would rather a slightly smaller gap.

@HopeAndStrength Hope you're feeling better now, that's not a nice sensation! Could be low iron maybe but if so they'll pick it up.
