I have a little boy who was 2 in April 💖

we decided in March to start trying for baby #2 and we were delighted to get pregnant that same month! Unfortunately we lost the baby at the end of April at 6w 4d

The MC is completed and I have taken an OPK this morning which looks to be really high. Not quite peak but definitely high which is just great that I’m ovulating again! I didn’t know what would happen. We both feel ready to try again this month so will be going for it.

Ah thank you @DmcinT @Freddie15VES I've arranged to speak to my GP tomorrow and will hopefully get bloods Friday as I've had no further bleeding since what I thought was the start this morning. So don't really know what's going on, I was told to be prepared for this bleed as its usually heavy but this is tiny and tbh I didn't need to wear a pad as its only appeared when I wiped this morning and nothing since (soz for that info lol) X so the kind of relief I felt this morning feels a bit short lived 😩

I'm sorry if I'm bringing any negative Vibes to this chat 🙈 its full of positivity now and I'm talking about bleeding 😕

I caved today and done a test it's negative I got in my own head with the what ifs. Anyway I'm gathering I ovulated later in my cycle so af should be ere soon then I can try properly which i Feel excited to do xx

I’m having a full on wobble tonight that my tests aren’t getting darker. I’m not sure whether it’s the tests or what 😩

@Retrogamer welcome and sorry for your loss. Mine wasn't too long before yours - weekend of 15th/16th April so also a bit behind some of these guys. Just in the midst of my second AF since it happened. It's hit me again this week and I've struggled a bit. Think it's a combo of AF/bleeding again and also knowing I'd have been having my 20wk scan around now. I'd also really got my hopes up for a BFP this time, partly cos of all the other ladies getting them! So I think it hit me a bit harder. However, I'm gearing up to go again this cycle and who knows what might happen. 🤞🏻🌈😊

@SnookyPook I'm sorry what you're going through. Its just awful and feels unfair.
When my first AF hit, I was relieved but also started emotions up again. It was a week of spotting followed by 5 days of heavy bleeding. It felt like people expect you to just get on with it. But it's not as simple as that.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! Good luck and remember to take care of yourself also x

I'm so relieved to see this line progression. All day yesterday I couldn't wait until the morning to test but then when I woke up I was scared in case it hadn't got any clearer. So happy to see this beautiful line appear straight away 😍 definitely makes this pregnancy feel more real.

Sorry to those struggling with the tww or with this cycle not being the one. Every single bit of the ttc journey is so much more emotional and difficult after loss.

Well my GP was totally useless, she actually said I shouldn't be testing for 4 months.....which totally contradicts what EPU said. I argued with her and finally have a bloods appointment on Tuesday, she said my bloods will be below 5 after looking at my level in april...(in april i was still bloody pregnant) I've advised her I'm getting faint positive results 😩 totally don't know why I bothered. No questions asked about what's happening or anything. X

@Westy22 oh you must feel like pulling your hair out!! If your levels are below 5 would u get a positive? 4months sounds Abit drastic doesn't it? My levels where over 3000 and it took three weeks for them to be below 5 I suppose everyone is different but still she could of at least tried to answer some questions for you or had any suggestions xx

I thought Tests pick up a minimum of 10 on some and standard is 25? So she made no sense x

I'm sorry @Westy22 that's very frustrating.

If it helps in any way, I ended up in hospital with my MC and they told me that I should test 2 weeks later and let them know if it was still positive (it wasn't). MC was at 12 weeks.

Yeah the hospital said 3 weeks tops for a negative and I got one just after 2, so for the doc to say 4 months is a joke x

@Westy22 I’m sorry that was such a bad experience, they should be making u feel reassured that nothing is missed as much as they can. I was told I should have a negative 2 weeks after and if not to contact them, at 3 weeks I still at strong enough positives so I rang and they asked me to come in, they did internal US and CT and took bloods to monitor over 48hrs, as things went very slow for me I was still showing a very faint positive over 5 weeks later, it was 6 weeks before I got a negative test and 8 weeks before my hcg was down to 5 ( they monitored me every 48hr with blood tests). Her fobbing u off is totally unacceptable, is there anywhere else u can make an appointment or get bloods at?

Just got this today. Should feel happy and relieved but I got a 3+ on one like 4 days before I started miscarrying last time

@Freddie15VES also great for you! So cruel how previous loss robs us of these moments of joy so much isn't it. Just think, right now, in this moment, your pregnancy is progressing as well as it could be and that is cause for celebration ❤️

I'm ok... Plodding on. Met my friends newborn yesterday and had a little snuggle and a cry. My friend was lovely and just held me while I held little one. It was kind of therapeutic in a way but it had made me have to confront my loss again yet again (seems to be a recurring theme...) Then last night, my SiL MSG's to say her waters have gone at 34+1! She's being monitored and on antibiotics/steroids for little one and they'll try to get her to 37wks. So been a baby-intense week.

@SnookyPook That sounds like a really tough few days. I'm glad your friend was kind and supportive about what it would mean to you to meet her newborn. Hope all is OK with your SIL. But it's hard when you can't seem to escape baby news.

SiL is having the baby today! C-section at 34+3! Hope all goes well for them. The universe obviously thought it would throw everything at me at once this month 😂😩 Doing ok though. Always feel quite hopeful/excited at this part of the cycle. How are you doing?! And the other BFP ladies? Xx

@SnookyPook Glad you've got positive feelings going into the fun week!
I'm doing OK, I'm really exhausted which I always am in pregnancy but it feels so much worse with the heat! And my toddler, and work. Trying to do everything right in terms of nutrition, sleep, exercise, not being stressed. Just taking it a day at a time...hard to believe it's only 5 days since my bfp feels like ages already. Anxiety definitely trying to creep in but I'm trying to be reassured by good line progression.

@SnookyPook doing all good here! Same as @Hankthehonk absolutely knackered running around after a 2 year old. Having waves of nausea and fatigue late morning which is a struggle as I’m a hairdresser so I’m on my feet a lot!
