Hi ladies

I thought I’d create this thread if anyone wants to jump on.

I have a little boy who was 2 in April šŸ’–

we decided in March to start trying for baby #2 and we were delighted to get pregnant that same month! Unfortunately we lost the baby at the end of April at 6w 4d

The MC is completed and I have taken an OPK this morning which looks to be really high. Not quite peak but definitely high which is just great that I’m ovulating again! I didn’t know what would happen. We both feel ready to try again this month so will be going for it.

Whether you’re TTC baby #1 #2 #3 etc you’re welcome to jump on ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

@Westy22 thanks for making me chuckle! Haha it's mad how much women can bond over weird bodily functions etc when TTC. It helps to know everyone else is equally as obsessed with CM etc as you are!

Anyway... You never know! It could be...! Everything crossed for you. 😊

Jadeypie · 12/06/2023 09:40

Morning girls 😊

@SnookyPook oh I suffer bad with pms!
It's like I'm a time bomb for a week and then af shows and I'm back to normal 🤣
I totally get the first period being a relief I was the same 2nd period I cried a lot that month felt so down! 3rd I'm like where the hell are you I Wana make a baby so I think its got easier mentally each cycle

@Westy22 I think when ttc nothing about our bodies is off topic 🤣🤣 it also keeps us sane talking about it! It's so frustrating that pregnancy symptoms and af symptoms are so alike! Tinged cm is either implantation or af on the way I actually had some few days ago and thought here she comes but nope nothing still!

Jadeypie · 12/06/2023 09:44

@DmcinT don't feel guilty in feeling the way you do it's very understandable! Your bound to feel like that after your loss xx

Westy22 · 12/06/2023 09:55

Your welcome 🤣 @SnookyPook

@Jadeypie see I wondered that! it's not something I've had before with my AF it's usually bam she's here lol but I guess MC can change everything!

Out of curiosity are you guys taking any supplements to aid in fertility/pregnancy? I was taking normal pregnacare plus with my first pregnancy but switched it after MC to cytoplan pregnaplan after reading about some people struggling to absorb folic acid (I've got coeliac disease so quite common that I don't absorb things) x

DmcinT · 12/06/2023 10:10

Morning all @Jadeypie @SnookyPook @Westy22 @Freddie15VES I’m sorry a few of u are feeling down, this journey is just so tough and no1 really realises, we continue to the outside world like all is good but internally our heads are racing with opks, CM, peaks, symptoms, af, moods, testing etc… it’s relentless. This space has been my life saver over the last few months. Are any of u testing today?

I’ve done the clear blue and it’s showing me at 4 weeks which I should be today so that’s a relief, if it showed me 5-6 weeks then hcg would be increasing faster and could be multiples again (I mean it still could be) but it looks good for 1 baby at the min ā¤ļø It still doesn’t feel real though. I’ll ring epu today and see what they say

Westy22 · 12/06/2023 11:19

Aww @DmcinT I bet that was! Probably take a while to feel real, let us know what EPU say, we are all part of yours and @Freddie15VES pregnancy now 🤣 xxx

Jadeypie · 12/06/2023 11:20

@DmcinT looking positiv 🄰! Are the epu getting you in for reassurance scan? Mine told me to ring them soon as I get pregnant again which is a relief! makes it feel about more easier going into trying again knowing I will be under them. We have been carful this month so I definitely crnt be pregnant just my AF being a pain next month tho Al be like a women obsessed but glad av found use lot ā¤ļøpartners don't really get all the ttc talk do they? Haha

@Westy22 I'm just on folic acid ATM but am thinking of taking something else to help I had the injection for my ectopic and it strips all the goodness to carry a baby it makes me Abit worried but av waited the recommend time. Anyone recommend what I should take? I have no clue 🤣

Westy22 · 12/06/2023 11:25

I did an early response test on Friday which was negative although when i stare at it i think its there a faint line, today I did one due to the CM I've been getting and it's a clear positive. I'm not taking much from it tho as the cheap sticks have had a faint positive. Just going to wait now, that was my last test so I'm going to be as strong as possible and bloody wait it out. X

ive joined a group on here for February due date is anyone else wants to join itā¤ļø

thanks for all the love, it’s so nerve racking but I’m feeling positive. Epu advised me to go through gp again as they’ve released me so will need another referral šŸ™ˆ

@Jadeypie im taking Proceive for a few months now, I’ve heard great things about them so started them around oct/nov and moved to the 1st trimester ones in feb when we first got preg (back on those ones now) but they have the ones pre pregnancy too ā¤ļø My DP took the male ones aswel

Westy22 · 12/06/2023 11:59

Don't jinx me @Jadeypie lol my miscarriage was only 4 weeks ago and I've not had a AF yet so this could be anythingggg. I'm gonna wait a few days and see if it darkens or not xx

Jadeypie · 12/06/2023 13:45

@Westy22 they say after miscarriage your very fertile and you don't actually need AF before getting pregnant again are body's are crazy! I won't jinx promise 🄰 xx

@DmcinT thank you I will have a nose and get some! What date in February are you thinking? My little boys a Feb baby also how come you've got to be referred? Shame they crnt just book you in saves the messing trying to get gp appointments šŸ™„

SnookyPook · 12/06/2023 13:46

Hi all... Well AF has arrived and a whole day earlier than expected too so at least she hasn't kept me in limbo! The last few days I've been expecting this as got proper PMS and was lacking signs and symptoms I've had with the previous pregnancies. I was gutted yesterday and had a proper sob - I think it just brought out another layer of grief from the loss. But today, now she's arrived properly, I'm feeling more philosophical about things again... Onto the next cycle...

Going to stick with this thread though and hope the baby dust rubs off on me! Tentative congrats @Westy22 - be amazing for you if this is a new pregnancy so soon. Let us know how things progress. @Jadeypie sounds like you may be in with a chance still too? What dpo are you? How are you feeling?

@DmcinT hopefully good signs for a single baby in there - I can imagine it would be very nerve-wracking to have another multiple pregnancy after your last experience. Hope you and
@Freddie15VES don't forget about us now you can join the pregnancy boards! Please check in now and then! šŸ’•

Jadeypie · 12/06/2023 14:02

@SnookyPook that's crap AF arrived but keeping that attitude is good! And this thread does seem to have luck to it so fingers crossed!

Well tbh I feel Abit crappy tender boobs pms hit me today doesn't help sweating with this heat 🤣 my cycles are 34 to 36 so long I'm currently either three days late or one who nos I'm 18 dpo but I havnt tried this month so I crnt be pregnant we have Dtd don't even no when or where in my cycle coz I havnt been tracking that part but we have used the pull out method sorry for TMI šŸ™ˆšŸ¤£ ( I know it's not bullet proof)

Freddie15VES · 12/06/2023 14:48

OP posts:
DmcinT · 12/06/2023 15:40

@SnookyPook absolutely, not going anywhere, I’ll be popping back in regularly to see all the bfps next cycle šŸ„°šŸŽ‰

this heat is a killer, we are off on holiday now next week for 3 weeks and I’m thinking how I’ll cope with the heat/being away if I’m sick weeks 6-9 šŸ™ˆ but šŸ¤žšŸ½All will be ok x

@Jadeypie my due date is coming up as February 19th on LMP which coincidentally is the date this year that we found out we were pregnant with the triplets, how mad is that🄹 I’m seeing it as a wee gift from them šŸ‘¼šŸ¼ā¤ļø

Jadeypie · 12/06/2023 16:02

Glad use are sticking around I love hearing about how everyone's getting on in their pregnancy 🄰 it gives me hope

@DmcinT oh wow definitely a little gift from up above ā¤ļø that was my sons due date he came three days later because he fancied taking his time to come into the world 🤣🤣

SnookyPook · 12/06/2023 17:13

@Jadeypie my son was 8 days over 😩 thought he'd got lost in there šŸ˜‚

HopeAndStrength · 12/06/2023 17:14

Congratulations @Freddie15VES and @DmcinT I'm so happy for you both!

SnookyPook · 12/06/2023 17:15

@Freddie15VES @DmcinT goodo 🄰 Hopefully the rest of us won't be too far behind with our own BFPs!

@DmcinT hopefully perfect timing for your holiday to keep you happy and relaxed in those nervy first weeks! Enjoy 😊

Freddie15VES · 12/06/2023 17:43

Took a different brand of test this evening, a 25 sensitivity one and it’s strong! I’ve think the cheap ones are just not very strong dye wise as these are much darker straight away and clearer!

Dreamer88 · 12/06/2023 18:22

Just a little update about my prolactin levels. So I had a retest on Friday and got the results back today- all normal!!! Yay!!!! The GP says it is more than likely to be stress induced when blood was taken at that time. A good thing that has come out of this is that I’ve been making sure that I take time to relax instead of working 24/7 and making healthier food choices (mostly). Think it was the wake up call I needed to take my health seriously.

Feeling positive and good to see so many positive tests!

Jadeypie · 12/06/2023 18:51

@Dreamer88 that's great news!! No more googling all kinds now šŸ™ˆ sometimes we need a little push for that light bulb moment don't we. I need to take my health more seriously too well done for making a start x
