I thought I’d create this thread if anyone wants to jump on.

I have a little boy who was 2 in April 💖

we decided in March to start trying for baby #2 and we were delighted to get pregnant that same month! Unfortunately we lost the baby at the end of April at 6w 4d

The MC is completed and I have taken an OPK this morning which looks to be really high. Not quite peak but definitely high which is just great that I’m ovulating again! I didn’t know what would happen. We both feel ready to try again this month so will be going for it.

Like I know I shouldn’t have I’m only 9/10 dpo but oc I tested this morning and I’m prob imagining this but I think I see the faintest line?

@DmcinT ooh I feel like I see something too... The test looks a bit flooded though? Deffo hopeful!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻❤️

@SnookyPook yeah I wasn’t sure why the dye was on the sides so afraid now it’s a dodgy test 🙈

I am blatantly living vicariously through the BFPs at the moment. Putting off any thoughts of what might be happening for me. Not overly hopeful though I don't think.

I'm currently planning to go and buy more tests as I simply cannot cope with the idea I have none to hand 🙈🙈 back at work next week that will distract me more I'm sure 😕

@Westy22 glad it's not just me! Any more clue what your cycle might be up to? X

@SnookyPook @Westy22 i have 4 tests so trying to keep them for the next few days🙈 I’ll just wait until tomorr now. It’s weird though I’d lots of bits yesterday, swollen, boobs full & bit tender etc.. but all seems to have gone this morning 😞 just need to keep myself busy now

@DmcinT remember it's very normal for symptoms to come and go a bit. Did your rhr stay higher btw?

@SnookyPook no it’s back down the last few days, it was up Saturday, Monday and Tuesday so I’m not really sure if it means anything🤷🏼‍♀️

@DmcinT no I'm holding off. Fairly sure AF will appear and I've not got many tests in at the mo so just going to wait and see. X

@SnookyPook no idea, cramping has slowed down alot now but I have a niggley pain on my left side where my ovary is (I know this now as that's the area they made me push down on during internal scan as that ovary hides lol). I'm going to buy ovulation sticks and tests again I think.

Minimal CM atm and my cervix is super high (sorry TMI) which is giving me a tiny bit of hope that I'm not about to get my AF. This would of been my normal AF week (today/tomorrow) but if I've ovulated later due to miscarriage then it's a week out x

I want to test @DmcinT but I also don't want to see a negative so 🙃 who am I kidding I probably will lol

So I decided to do an Ovulation test aswell as a pregnancy test to see what they both did....I don't feel like I'm any wiser 🙃🤣

So confusing not knowing where my cycle is at, I really hope this isn't still on the back of my miscarriage.

Oh I’m sorry @Westy22 this was exactly me after my MC, I still tested positive for just over 5 weeks after. it was 6 weeks before I got a proper clear negative so I know the pain of not knowing is awful ❤️ I was relieved more than anything when af appeared as I knew what/where my body was then x

Crap isn't it @DmcinT I'm sure I got a negative two weeks ago, haven't bled for nearly 4 weeks and they gave me the all clear in hospital scan wise. I had a pretty clear what i thought was ovulation sign on the 31st so I was convinced I was good to go 🙈 I'm not getting excited about this unless it gets any darker anyway, going to wait a few days and if it stays the same I'll ring my GP and ask for bloods to see what's happening and if it's lingering hormone xx I'm so impatient 🤣

@Westy22 it does feel so cruel. I was monitored every 48 hrs in the hospital with blood draws for 8 weeks (painful I know!) but I ovulated with hcg 31 3 weeks after my MC.

i had internal US and CT scan after D&C to confirm everything was clear and it was. Hcg was painfully slow at coming down so they repeated these at 3 weeks but all clear & they saw I was ovulating. I got my af then when hcg was 11 (I still had the faintest line on tests). It felt like such a long 6 weeks of not knowing.

im just over 9 weeks now though and still here waiting in the TWW 😂😅 it never ends does it

going back for bloods might be a good shout yeah, if anything it gave me peace of mind on what was happening ❤️

I'll have to try and get past my GP receptionist first 🤣 my GP hasn't seen me once during my first pregnancy or miscarriage 😕.

Ah really EPU didn't offer any bloods tbh, but having had so many bloods done on the run up to the miscarriage I don't think I'd of wanted to keep going back. I felt sick just going for the scan for the follow up afterwards.

I never thought I'd be this obsessive about getting pregnant again, it's strange because I know the anxiety that comes with a new pregnancy will be awful but I so want it rather than this waiting 🙈

@Westy22 wow I can’t believe ur gp hasn’t seen u, how many weeks were u when u had MC (if u don’t mind me asking)

EPU insisted on the bloods every 48hrs until I was hcg 4 but my gp seen me regularly in the weeks after MC as my blood count was only 9 (I’d lost a lot in the D&C) so I was on medication for that and she was monitoring it until it came back up.

i feel so done with doctors & the hospital in general but I’ll be right back in next week I’d say if this is positive. They thought they’d just gotten rid of me last week 😂🤞🏽

@DmcinT so I was 7 weeks when they confirmed it had failed, but I think the pregnancy had stopped by 5 tbh when I had horrific pain one night.

I passed everything naturally and only bled for 5 days, so they didnt really need to intervene.

My GP isn't great 😕

Haha ohh I've told myself I'm going nowhere near EPU for my next pregnancy unless I really need to. They said they would happily do reassurance scans next time for me but it's the last place I want to go 🤣 I'd rather pay and go somewhere private so it feels less negative 🤣

@SnookyPook thats so bloody true. God this TTC makes you mental I swear. I’m gonna wait now and just take a test tomorrow morning. To be fair with a previous chemical I don’t think it ever got this dark it was just a squinter. If I can make it past 6 weeks 4 days then I’ll be happy!!
