Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

@LeopardLover how soon did you get nausea in your last pregnancy? And you're definitely right! If I booked too soon for a heartbeat it would freak me out.

Bottle top sounds ideal! Easy to take non conspicuously to the bathroom. Which opk are you using? I always used the clearblue digital with the faces so never had to read the lines. I did just have a good feeling about dtd one night a couple of days before my peak. Don't know if that was the night! Listen to your body 😊

It's good that you have a nice quiet villa. Can't beat a holiday where the atmosphere is good

I think it was week 6! Although it was more the feeling you get when you've had too much to drink. Hungover 🤣 weird cravings too. Peppers! Orange juice... Vitamin C.

I have the digital one too, I'm only using that from June though because it's expensive. This is a sneaky OPK month haha. I just had a look at mumsnet and saw loads of women leaking at CD20. So maybe I'm just being too eager. 😅 I think I'll do a Bridgerton and try every other day until we get exhausted haha.

It's so cool you had a feeling! I love that. Trusting your body. 🥰

xLJ1990x · 17/05/2023 20:45

I haven't had any cravings yet but this morning I tried a butter mint sweet and my body immediately said no 😂 I think I normally like those.

All the things in ttc are so expensive! The opks, the pregnancy tests... I have taken at 11 this month alone 😂 started looking for maternity clothes on vinted. Early days yet but I find you have to look a lot to find something you really love.

Every other day like bridgerton sounds good! We also tried that and then switched to once every three days when it got tiring. Take it you've seen the new bridgerton series? I absolutely loved it!

@LeopardLover forgot to tag you in the message!

LeopardLover · 17/05/2023 21:05

Oh gosh! The beginning. I didn't touch tea during my last pregnancy 😅

Gosh, yes. And then all the baby stuff 🤣 sooo expensive. I actually bought some Rochelle Humes maternity dungarees from Vinted as they are old and I couldn't find them last time. Vinted is a great shout. I loved Love Leggings but they've just changed names.

I think we'll need to do the same 🤣 I haven't finished it but I'm loving it so far. Will finish it when I get back. 😊

Hi All, hope everyone is well. Iv had a bit of update. Rang EPAU as my tests still faint, told me to book in for HCG at doctors. Got appointment today and had them done. Got home and noticed few specs of blood. Also light cramping. Did internet cheapie and nothing on there. Looks like Iv had early miscarriage/chemical at 5 weeks. Iv not got my result yet but pretty much know already it's not good news.

@BABYPRAYING sorry to hear this :( wait until the blood results come back though, some people have spotting in early pregnancy and it's fine. I'd hope for the best but expect the worst in all honesty.I personally understand how shit a chemical is 😞
Sorry you've had to go through this.

BABYPRAYING · 18/05/2023 01:48

@Kiwiburgh thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately Iv continued to bleed now so looks like AF is here. Also did a cheapie test and there's nothing to be seen. I'm pretty devastated but to be honest I kind of expected it and had an feeling something wasn't right. Hope your doing ok 💕

@BABYPRAYING Oh I'm so sorry up hear this. What a roller coaster you've been on 💔 Absolutely crap. Sending you so much love! X

BABYPRAYING · 18/05/2023 09:46

@LeopardLover thank you! Everyone in this thread is so thoughtful I really appreciate it. Bleeding is in full swing now and in quite a bit of pain. Just want to get it over with now and move forward. I think I'm going to take a few months off LH testing etc and just relax and take things as they come. I'm going to push NHS into further testing as to why I can't seems to get past the early stages of pregnancy. I'll be honest, I think iv probably had more chemicals/early losses that Iv not known about. I think in future I'm not going to test early to avoid disappointment. Hope your doing ok x

@BABYPRAYING I am so sorry for what you're going through. I hope you're not too uncomfortable and it makes perfect sense to take your time, process and recover. Big hugs 💛

@BABYPRAYING How is your pain this evening? 😔 I hope you are resting. I can understand why you are keen to move forward and want to take a more relaxed approach.

Make sure you do push for further testing! I didn't realise you've been through this before. 💔 I don't know if you've heard of the Fertility Homeopath on YouTube, I've seen she's done a video on recurrent miscarriage. I haven't watched it but there might be something helpful in there.

Sending you so much love. All good here in Portugal, waiting to ovulate and trying to hook up in a room with our toddler 🤣x

BABYPRAYING · 18/05/2023 21:03

@LeopardLover my pain is bad but it's manageable with pain relief. Hopefully it doesn't get too much worse. I'll be honest it's no where near as bad/traumatic as what happened when I had a MMC at 9 weeks. That sounds very much like fun! Hope the weather is nice in Portugal. It's very humid in Hull at the moment. X

Oh that sounds awful, I'm so sorry. Hoping this ends soon for you and you can look forward to getting some answers x

PeacefulD · 19/05/2023 11:37

Had my blood tests. At dpo 17, HCG 68, progesterone 6.8.
They said I should miscarry, test again in 2 weeks.

As weird as it sounds, I'm hoping AF will appear soon 🙏

@PeacefulD I'm so sorry, thinking of you and sending support ❤️🙏

Pinkmoon23 · 20/05/2023 09:32

Good morning guys, how's everyone doing? Is anyone getting close to being able to test or are we all around about the same day? I'm just CD7, so entering my fertile days soon. We're going to dtd every day from today until my partner goes away to work again, so I'm hoping that'll do the trick 😅🤞. I'm so unwell though, there's been a sickness bug going around the school, only 5 kids didn't get it out of a school of 40. I managed to not get the sickness part but I have flu/cold symptoms feeling awful. My temps are a bit off because of it I think. I got a temp rise today but I've discounted it. My opk sticks haven't peaked yet but they're getting darker already so I think I'm going to ovulate soon 🤔 who knows. Anyway, that's my ramble. Hope you guys are all doing OK ❤️

PeacefulD · 20/05/2023 09:48

Ladies, thanks so much for your support.

I started bleeding this morning. I grieved the loss already last few days, and I am feeling better that there were no complications. Today is Dpo 19, I'll put my tests here because I tend to delete them from my phone (dpo 12, 14-17). For me, light lines at dpo 14 was a bad sign, and I knew something was wrong. Obviously it is sad that I got two chemicals almost in a row, but I'm going to wait until my next period to TTC, so going to skip this time. I've got lots of tests for me and my partner to check this month, and hopefully we will get the support to do anything extra, if needed. I might have just been unlucky, or maybe something simple could have made these pregnancies successful, and hopefully next time I will carry.

In terms of bbt, it didn't actually predict the bleeding today, I was same temperature this morning as I was pregnant, so while it did a good job on ovulation, I feel like once I know it next time I'll stop tracking.

Good luck to those trying this cycle, I will stay here with you cheering and the one after I may come back on the journey if anyone is still here.
