Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

I'm 18DPO and line is still faint, but progressing. No spotting or anything. Still getting twinges and bloated feeling like things are still happening. I'm not going to test anymore and may take some time out on mums net as I'm making myself ill constantly checking and reading things.

Iv heard horror stories but also ladies get faint positives all the way through. Im 4+2 (apparently) so im taking it as im pregnant and that's it.

I'm definitely having a chemical, the line is very light, and at DPO 15 it just shouldn't be. It's even lighter than what I had with my chemical in February, and I don't want to live in false hope and delude myself. I'm just hoping AF arrives soon in the next day or two. How is it possible to have 2 chemicals in 3 months? I feel like giving up

I really hope your ok, sending you love 💕

@PeacefulD have you done a FRER? I think they are best to see progression

@BABYPRAYING thanks, sending lots of support your way too. We are in the same situation. Last time, I went to GP and got blood tests done which showed that it was not a viable pregnancy and about a day or two later I started bleeding. I just called GP and will try to get a blood test. The thing that worries me is not just why I keep having it, but ectopic pregnancy and it's good to take in hands and actually get into the system rather than just testing, so I'd advise you to get blood test done at gp. They also last time gave me a form to get scan earlier with EPU but that would have been at week 5-6 at least as nothing can be seen before, so at least you get into the system.
Now that I've 2 chemicals (I can't imagine current pregnancy proceeding since lines are very similar to the chemical I had), I will also ask doctor to check me and my DP for health issues and prescribe what is needed, because I can't go through this again without knowing I did everything I could

BABYPRAYING · 16/05/2023 10:11

@PeacefulD thanks for your advise. I'm just going to leave it now. Not testing. Not stressing. What will be will be. At this moment in time I'm still pregnant so I'm going to enjoy it

I don't think there is anything wrong with them lines/progression

They look exactly like my chemical. I also had spotting yesterday and lost my symptoms, which is what I had before. It is so hard to keep up hope after a loss, I'm sorry if I'm being negative.

@BABYPRAYING you mentioned you were going to get some tests done last week, did it go ok?

Yes tests can back all normal regarding progesterone etc.

At least we will have a few people on the next cycle to go through it together, so glad I found this thread 🙏

I was reading about multiple chemicals, and it seems that some people tried aspirin and progesterone to improve the outcomes. I am now really keen to get some tests done just to make sure, and try any medication if needed. I just can't face another of these, the worst is my week dpo 11 onwards just gone with worry and I look back and I've done nothing. I really told myself I won't obsess this time but around that time dpo 11-14, it's so hard to not test. One of my friends was saying it's just best to think you're not pregnant and that way, you get a surprise. The other only tests at week 6. I wish I had that will power.

I was tested for thyroid and clotting deficiency etc and all normal too.

I'm keeping positive as I'm still getting symptoms, no spotting or cramps etc

Amazing! I have everything crossed for you 🤞I do find it helpful to talk to others because it's such a lonely time, so feel free to drop a line anytime. I understand not wanting to go on mumsnet as well, it can bring out the fears and doubts. But do keep us updated, I'm praying all goes well

@PeacefulD so sorry to hear, hope you're OK. Is the top test your most recent test? Sending support your way! ❤️

@BABYPRAYING hope you're feeling OK it must be hard not to stress! I think you're right in not testing anymore!

PeacefulD · 17/05/2023 10:29

@Pinkmoon23 no, the bottom is yesterday's test (15 dpo). I also got appt with GP, who referred to EPAU. I think I need some support, feel so lonely with my testing.

stressshead · 17/05/2023 10:48

Hi everyone
What are your thoughts on progression
10,11,12 dpo af due today or Friday conflicting app calculations so going with the later date xx

1DPO - Anyone want to wait with me ☺
PeacefulD · 17/05/2023 10:56

@stressshead it is very normal to get light frers in dpo 11. Dpo 12 is too soon to dpo 11 to tell difference. From my reading, what matters is around 14/16/18 dpo how the progression looks then. I would stop testing and do it later in 2 days, because you'll drive yourself crazy (like I did). Stress can't be good for the early days and this is all out of your hands, so I'd keep busy. I know easier said than done...

Pinkmoon23 · 17/05/2023 16:19

@PeacefulD so sorry, sending you love! Getting support is a good idea ❤️

Pinkmoon23 · 17/05/2023 16:20

How is everyone doing? I'm just CD 4 today, feeling impatient. Been doing a lot of reading and podcast listening about conceiving and opk's vs charting. So feeling like I definitely might have missed ovulation or not done enough BD'ing last cycle. Hopefully this cycle will be a BFP. 🤞

LeopardLover · 17/05/2023 19:28

@BABYPRAYING Hope you're doing okay! Good idea to take a break from things if it will ease the anxiety. 💜

@PeacefulD How are you feeling today? 🩷

@xLJ1990x How are you getting on!? 😊

@stressshead These look good to me! A line is a line 🥰

@Pinkmoon23 I hear you re feeling impatient! I'm CD 13 I think! I'm sneakily using OPKs but I don't have a pot to pee into so I'm trying to use stream urine and it's not always working on 🤣 I'm on holiday with friends and our son is in our room with us. So DTD is... Challenging 😅 I'm getting more CM though so I think I'm getting closer to ovulation. Hoping I can find a container to squirrel away tonight so I can do a proper OPK.

Kiwiburgh · 17/05/2023 19:34

@Pinkmoon23 I'm also on CD 4 and feeling impatient lol. I was supposed to temp this cycle but I keep forgetting to do it. I'm using clear blue digital and easy@ home ovulation strips. I want to see if they match up.

xLJ1990x · 17/05/2023 19:41

@LeopardLover it's going well thanks. Had some spotting again earlier this week which really freaked me out. Called the gp and they wouldn't do anything unless the bleeding lasted a week and I still had a positive pregnancy test.

🤞 It has stopped and I got 2 to 3 weeks on the clearblue indicator this morning so cautiously optimistic. I've had a bit of nausea a few times the last week and quite tired. 4+3 or 17dpo today. Just hoping this will work out! Think I'll book an early scan for peace of mind.

How are you doing? Enjoying the holiday? I hope you find a container for your opk 😊

Oh, I'm so glad the bleeding stopped and you got the 2-3 weeks flash up! So exciting. That made it feel real for me. Nausea sounds good too 💜 Definitely book an early scan, ideally after 8 weeks so you don't get freaked out if there's no heartbeat yet.

Yes, good thank you! Really loving the weather and chilled vibes. Our villa is wonderful and so quiet.

Although, my LH seems weirdly low for CD13 🤔 I have CM so was expecting something a little higher, not that I've ever used them before hhaa. Oh well, we shall continue trying to hook up while our toddler flips around in the travel cot 🙈 I used a bottle top 🤣xx
