1DPO - Anyone want to wait with me ☺

Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

I do feel like I'll never believe pregnancy anymore, until at least week 12/20. I'll probably have a very stressful first trimester next time, and that's bothering me a lot. But I'm hoping the tests pick up something simple or that I just got unlucky 🤞

Update on me: AF is now 8 days overdue and I've been having pms symptoms for about two weeks now 😩😩. Feeling exhausted and frustrated.

@Applefruitcake Oh gosh! 8 days overdue but still no BFP? I'd be feeling pretty exhausted too! 😔

@PeacefulD that's understandable, it must be so hard 😞❤️ keep hope though you're time will come and I hope you get some answers soon too.

@Applefruitcake that sounds frustrating and tiring! 😩 Do you think you ovulated late? Do you have charts?

I'm cycle day 8 today, me and hubby have been BD'ing every day but we'll have to miss tomorrow as he's away working. Back Wed so I'm hoping I don't ovulate early 😬

What day is everyone else on now?

@LeopardLover Thank you. No BFP, I last tested 2 days ago. I'm debating whether to keep on testing

@Pinkmoon23 Thank you. Its my first cycle using OPKs so very possible I could have ovulated later than I thought. Ughh so confused, I've been doing all kinds of calculations in my head in the last few days 😅. I have been reading a lot of past posts and it seems like it's not uncommon.

@Pinkmoon23 also on day 8. Can't belive you guys can dtd every day for 8 days, I think that would kill us lol. I'm also CD 8. Will probably start dtd tomorrow or day after and do every second day.

@Pinkmoon23 You are dedicated to the cause! DH definitely couldn't handle DTD every day @Kiwiburgh 🤣💜 DPO 1 today (I think) so in the TWW 🙏🏻 will hopefully continue to DTD just in case 😊

😂 Whoops - I meant every day after AF, so just the last 4 days 😅 not the past 8 days in a row haha. Although I'm sure hubby would be up for that 😂😂

@LeopardLover ooo 1dpo exciting, when do you think you'll test? Keeping my fingers crossed for you! 🤞 Hahaha, yeah the timing would be ideal if we managed to conceive this cycle, as I'm going into my summer hols (I'm a nursery teacher, so we get 7 weeks holidays 😍) and if I get sickness like I did in my first pregnancy then I wouldn't have to be at work sick.

@Applefruitcake how're you today any sign of AF? Been there with the calculations it drives you a bit mad doesn't it! Opk's confuse me, this is my 2nd cycle using them, mine are getting darker/lighter/darker/lighter and I haven't ovulated yet 😅. I can't remember if you said you tracked your BBT? It's been quite useful for me to pinpoint ovulation! Hope you get out of limbo land soon!

@Pinkmoon23 Thank you! Had a bit of blood this morning so I think AF is finally getting ready to make an appearance. I'm annoyed because I could have been on cycle day 9 now 😩 Ughh I know what you mean about the OPKs, they can be a bit random sometimes. I've heard the clear blue ones are much better but soo expensive 😩. I have been thinking of getting a basal thermometer but DH is away for work this month, so we'll only be able to DTD at weekends anyway. I guess at least I can know what my chances of conceiving are so I don't get my hopes up again

@Pinkmoon23 haha, even so 😉 Ooooh, that timing would be perfect! Fingers crossed! I'm going to try and hold out until when AF would be due. I like living in hope and BFNs really get me down! 😅

How's everyone doing? I'm getting a bit stressed this month. Hubby had to go away to work on Mon/Tues (back Wed evening) and unfortunately I got really good EWCM on Tuesday (CD10) and Wed morning. But since then things have... dried up. We dtd Wednesday evening but considering it's meant to be my fertile time there didn't seem to be much CM at all. My temps haven't spiked yet so they're not indicating ovulation - and opk's are all negative so far. But from what I've read CM dries up after ovulation. So I'm wondering which is the most reliable? I'm really concerned I won't be able to get pregnant without ewcm or they we've just missed ovulation 😭

Hey @Pinkmoon23! It’s so hard isn’t it, I usually go off ewcm and opks, I don’t do temps so can’t help there. But I suppose if you had ewcm you must have been ovulating surely?! :(

im struggling as OH has had sperm analysis results stating low sperm count and I’m heart broken about it :( he’s started vitamins at the beginning of this month so hopefully they help and his second analysis I hope shows improvement :(

Is it possible you missed your peak if your CM was indicating ovulation? Do you test more than once a day? Just a thought! If you did ovulate early your DTD timing seems spot on 👌🏻

It's possible but my temps haven't risen. I've been testing 2-3 times a day with the opk's so not sure if I missed it. We dtd CD 7,8,11 in the pm and today (12). So if I ovulated CD 11 morning it may have been too late? It's very confusing 😬

@Pinkmoon23 I honestly wouldn't worry too much. I thought I'd dried up before and worried i'd missed o day but the ewcm came back again.I concieved that cycle but was a chemical.
Just had my 5th day of flashing smileys. I always seem to have 5 or 6 days of flashing smileys before peak which is super annoying because I run out of strips 🙃 hopefully tomorrow I'll get the static 🤞

@Kiwiburgh thank you, trying not to worry and to stop obsessing. I'll keep BD'ing and hopefully my temps will reveal when I do ov!

@Pinkmoon23 thanks :) do you normally ovulate roughly the same time each cycle?

@Kiwiburgh this is only the second month I'm tracking everything so it's hard to tell. I used to just presume ovulation by what my app would tell me. I do normally get my period every 27-28 days like clockwork though.

So today I got a really dark almost positive opk and we BD this morning so I don't think I have ovulated yet after all! Also more CM too! Phew! 😅

I got static smiley yesterday with clear blue digital but easy at home tests are showing that today is my peak 🙈
Dtd last night but will have to jump my poor dh again tomorrow on ? Ovulation day just incase,We can't keep up with 2 days in a row 😂

Hey everyone 👋🏻 how's things? I'm CD14 today. I'm not using any OPK this month. Just taking a bit of a breather after my chemical. But I'm still using the premom app. Today is my second fertile day and told me to BD 💃so we did. I'm 100% not testing at all before my AF this month. Only if it doesn't arrive. Don't think I can take the heartache/stress again if I see a faint line early.

@BABYPRAYING So lovely to see a post from you! I've been thinking about you. Good idea to take a step back and take a relaxed approach. Great you're DTD at the perfect time and it's a great plan to wait until AF is due before testing. You went through an emotional roller coaster last month!

CD9 over here. Such a boring wait. No symptoms other than some prickling pains last night!
