@ladybranstonpickle I couldn’t read this and run. I’m so sorry to hear this is happening to you. I had very similar with my first pregnancy. I too analysed everything I did during early pregnancy. When I discussed it with a doctor he reassured me it’s very difficult to do anything that will jeopardise a healthy pregnancy. In most cases it’s chromosomal abnormalities and there’s nothing that could have been done differently. Please look after yourself. It’s such a traumatic thing to go through. My two babies are here now. I just check in on this thread to see how everyone is. What I will say is I’m still dealing with the fallout from the 5 losses I had on the road to completing my family. Don’t underestimate the impact. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you have some good news soon! x

@ladybranstonpickle I'm so sorry t read your news. It's heartbreaking that's exactly what happened to me too. I had 2 missed miscarriages one year apart. It is such a hard thing to go through. Be kind to yourself and take your time healing and processing. It's really difficult. Sending love xx

this happened to me aswell, a week after actually seeing a heartbeat. It’s horrific. I blamed myself for it too. I KNOW that it wasn’t down to anything I did wrong but it still creeps into my head at times.
Nothing that you did caused this 🙏🏼❤️
It’s so bad that the hospital just leave you in this hell for so long. I was a week before I could get a D&C aswell. It’s so cruel. I really hope they can get something sorted for you very soon - limbo is a horrible place to be in. Don’t rush to the next decisions, you’ve got time and you definitely need to use it to make sure you’re ok.

Thank you so much all of you for your kind words. Attended the scan this morning and have decided to start the medical management. The bleeding was very heavy yesterday and the day before but has almost stopped today. The scan still showed pregnancy tissue so I wanted to help it along with the medication, rather than waiting for the bleeding to restart.

I actually feel a lot better now it is underway. Hoping it's not too painful - I am working this afternoon to take my mind off things, but if I need I will log off and take a medical leave afternoon/day tomorrow.

Onwards! My heart goes out to all of you who have experienced this, and hopefully we will all have positive news to share in the next couple of months.

And to repeat that none of your actions caused it, nature decides and nothing you can do. I had similar feelings after my first few cp, but then dr explained very clearly- if eggs quality is not good, it will happen regardless what I eat or do..

I am currently on Primolut pills and starting injections on the 3d of August. Don't know details as on holiday and they moved all week earlier, so first appointment on Friday only.

Was really scared of these pills before injections but actually not bad, no worries or any sort of mood, like "I don't care" stage 🙈
Do you think it is normal or worries and pain will kick in later?

Injections - I should be ok, as already dud half IUI cycle injections (it was cancelled as risk of multiples and my kids were premature so cannot carry more than 1).

I know it’s not very active on here, but just wanted to ask - those who did IVF over 40 - how many follicles did you have?

@Noodles4Me hi, just had my first ivf scan (pre simulation), they counted 11 on each side, told me good number to start with 🤷🏻‍♀️ But my case is quality unfortunately. I will be on menopour from 4th August.
Wanted to ask all experienced ladies- if I am extremely lucky and have 4 embryos gor PGTA testing...and 1 more, should I try fresh transfer.. in case all abnormal, and with flaws in testing..not to miss if it is a good one but just mosaic?

My hospital said for genetic tests results- minimum 4 weeks!

I know it is all very low probabilities..but dr said we will see how I react and how many we will get

Also these pills I am on pre-stimulation...I am really suffering, cannot sleep, hot flashes, like menopause symptoms 🥺 Was told it is not usual but some women react to the hormones blocking

@Noodles4Me i had around 7 follicles at base scans and usually collected 5 eggs from that. AMH at the point of IVF was 0.5 so pretty low.

@TT82 i suffered massively with the Downregging too - not nice at all!! It definitely gets better once you start stimming 🙏🏼 so it’s a tricky debate whether to test all or risk a fresh transfer…. I got 3 embryos over 2 ECs and tested all, they all came back aneuploid. I was devastated and it just felt so wrong that I hadn’t even made it to transfer. I questioned the PGT-A testing and got quite fixated on maybe having made the wrong choice. That they might possibly have made it if I’d just transferred. But…. On the flip side…. Failed transfers hurt, you connect immediately to those little embryos, and even more so if they implant and grow for a while before an eventual MC. I fell apart completely after my MC so in hindsight I’m glad I didn’t put myself through what would likely end up as another MC. But there are some questions around the testing and some evidence to say that embryos might self correct in the womb. I would say you just need to be completely honest with yourself about how well you would deal with the possible outcomes. Not an easy decision at all. Good luck ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thanks @TT82 and @Kelb79 It all just gets so confusing. I had an ovarian scan which shows I’m in decline but also shows I don’t ovulate when I think I do 🤦🏼‍♀️ Ffs. However they said my uterus was “lovely” haha.

My brain understands (I mean as much it can in the current stage), that PGT-A testing is the real reason I am doing ivf (even with all potential minuses etc) as I am falling pregnant, just not staying. Otherwise I can continue naturally searching for that one egg.. Just cannot deal with chemicals anymore..these are heartbreaking, so what if, like you mentioned, later stage mc! 😔 for those not reason at all

They told me we can decide later depending on the situation etc. Just hope by then I will be back myself, as currently I just want to divorce my husband and just stop all of this 😖 those pills are a killer

i can’t believe I’m saying it but I’m 11 weeks today!
still soooo sick!! All of the time!! And sooo anxious, my dating scan is on Monday and I’m terrified!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Sooo sorry you are feeling sick, that's probably not fun at all.. I haven't been sick with my pregnancies, the opposite actually- was constantly hungry!! 😬

I am much better now, stopped the pills on Monday and starting injections tomorrow. Yeah now I know how I will feel once menopause is here 😳 I almost divorced my husband 😱...he has to deal with lots of this currently. But now getting better and like cannot wait to have the hormones back.

Oh I took for granted my pregnancies..now I know how much pain physical and mental women have to go through 🥺

@Kelb79 good luck for Monday. I was feeling sick and eat ginger sweets from Holland and Barrett. They worked. The good news is my sickness went away after 12 weeks. Fingers crossed you'll be the same. It's going so fast! I'm so excited for you xxx

I've been absent as I think I'm on perimenopause, may not be it could just be where I've been slacking on the vitamins and stressed with out housing situation etc. but I'm back onto the vits today I've got

Magnesium
Need to get a good ubiquinol if anyone has any recommendations as I'm out of that.
Am I missing anything? It's been a while 🤦🏼‍♀️
Also does anyone have any better alternatives to pregnacare? Not sure if it's the best? Ive been seeing good things about ovavite - anyone know anything about that one?

Anyway hope you're all well and I shall be back now, I've pulled my big girl pants on and stepping back into the serious ttc game xx

The scan was perfect!! I can’t even believe it!! Baby is measuring 63mm (which seems big for 11+5 😳) and dancing and waving at us 😍 neck fluid measurement really low aswell. Just got to find out more donor details to get full risk factors.
anyone good at nub theory and fancy a guess? We’re not finding out so just for fun 😁😁

Just hope all tests go well and no risk factors you discover! I actually thought they investigate donors before for any factors, no?

it was such a good scan - we had a trainee that just kept going for practise while the midwife left the room to ask her superiors about donor egg conception stuff that she didn’t know 😂
she let us make a little video of baby jumping around and waving! As long as we didn’t put it on social media 😂 it’s magical!!
Yep, they totally test the donors so I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about but from this end without full information they might want to run more extensive tests. If I can just find out my donors age it’ll be fine I’m sure 😁
im feeling terrible today!! Tired, sick, headachey…. I had so hoped this would pass by now, I’m sick of hearing myself complain 🫣😂🙄
