Hey,

just thought I’d start a thread for those in their TWW.
I’m 1DPO - looking for people to chat to and just keep each other company as title states.

last month I was super patient during my TWW and fully waited until 12DPO and tested once.
I just have a feeling this month I’m going to be super impatient and need people to tell me off and not test early lol.

if you’re joining, what DPO are you and any symptoms?

I tested today (Saturday) 9dpo on FRER - massive BFN - stil not ruling myself out just yet until AF shows 🙈

@Dreamer88 you’ve got this! I was expecting AF this morning but she didn’t arrive so I did a test and got a BFN. It feels so cruel to be late when you’re TTC. I’m always like clockwork so it’s really unusual and got my hopes up!

@Bluebell0921 ahhh so unfair! It’s basically like scrambling round in the dark because you think you know your body and then nothing happens. So frustrating.

@Bluebell0921 I'm sorry. That is so annoying. Hopefully AF arrives soon so you can move on to the next cycle.

Good on you for holding out though. I'm testing tomorrow (will be 25days since AF last started). Because I'm BF my cycle has only recently settled back to 25/26 days but doing it tomorrow as I'm going into the office on Tuesday so don't want to faff about testing, getting ready, getting toddler ready. Keeping everything crossed

Hey girls. Can I join. I'm 12 dpo. I did this test this morning. I had a chemical in December so too scared to test with a proper one. I had brown cm from 11dpo - like really dark brown but no pink!

I've never used cheapies but if if 2 lines mean positive I'd say you have your BFP! Congratulations 🥳

@Knov20 amazing! Congrats 👏🏽 I had the same brown etc too but no idea what’s up so just waiting it out. AF was due on 27/28th and hasn’t turned up but I’m not confident in the BFP yet-thinking it might be a chemical.

@Knov20 looks positive to me too! Yay congrats! I can understand your apprehension after having a chemical. Keeping my fingers crossed for this one for you.

@emmatcc1 i started this month. I found it helpful to confirm ovulation but I’ve also found it quite stressful. I definitely don’t sleep as well now because it’s on my mind that if I wake up before my alarm I need to do the temperature so I’m not sure if I’ll continue with it. I’m also not sure I’m doing it properly as I wasn’t taking it at the same time every morning.

@Bluebell0921 I take it with an hour difference sometimes and last cycle my temps were still consistent as well as this cycle until 6 dpo when it dropped then back up and down again now I’m worried something’s wrong.

@emmatcc1 that happened to me this month. I don’t think it necessarily signals somethings wrong. Isn’t it called a luteal dip? Can be a sign of pregnancy but not always? I can’t say I know enough about it though perhaps someone on here can shed some light.

@Bluebell0921 I know having an occasional dip doesn’t mean anything but mine looks like a rollercoaster. I’ll see what happens tomorrow but I don’t have any symptoms or cramps.

@emmatcc1 mine is similar. I've had dips. I feel like I'm due AF though. I don't know why, I guess after a few months you just expect it to arrive. I'm expecting my usual AF spotting to arrive any day. I'm 11dpo today x

I naturally have a normally low body temperature so this is staying quite high for me. I'm 10 dpo not 11! I don't know if I dare do a test tomorrow 🙈

@emmatcc1 ah I see what you mean. Mine fluctuated like this. i assumed that is just normal fluctuations. I think when it’s on a graph it can make it look like big dips but in reality .2 of a degree is tiny variation. Mine has started to drop now (drastically) and I’ve had a negative pregnancy test so I assume AF is on her way but yours is still up which is about right during this time in the cycle so hopefully it stays like that for you 😊

@Bailem fingers crossed yours stays up and this is the start of your BFP.

@Bailem I know right after some time it’s not as exciting as the first time and you’re not even expecting a positive at this point.

@Bluebell0921 I guess I was just thinking all my graphs are gonna be similar it’s probably something like stress or poor sleep quality. I’m expecting to see my temps drop in about 2-3 days.

@emmatcc1 this is why I’ve found BBT a bit tricky. I’m sure lots of things can make it fluctuate very slightly. Sleep, stress, hydration etc. it probably fluctuates all the time but generally we don’t notice because we aren’t tracking it. Like I said, not an expert at all on it but it doesn’t look unusual to me particularly. You got the raise after ovulation which is great and it’s generally staying up now post ovulation which is a good sign. I’m sure an avid BBT tracker will be on here at some point and see your graph and be able to say more about it ☺️
