Hey,

just thought I’d start a thread for those in their TWW.
I’m 1DPO - looking for people to chat to and just keep each other company as title states.

last month I was super patient during my TWW and fully waited until 12DPO and tested once.
I just have a feeling this month I’m going to be super impatient and need people to tell me off and not test early lol.

if you’re joining, what DPO are you and any symptoms?

baby dust to us all 👶🏻🤞🏻✨

@DHB yeah, deffs a more relaxed approach, going to just keep tracking with OPKs and just DTD every other day starting when I see my OPKS becoming darker.

I’m currently 13dpo, AF due tomorrow & have the usual really sore boobs, today have some mild cramping asif she’s about to show up.
all tests negative.

I am going to make an appointment with my doctor once AF goes due to having a lot of pain round my ovary area during my TWW that fully led me to believe I was pregnant. I suffered with PCOS and Endo but haven’t had a flare up in so long and my periods are regular for the last year and a half & having ovulation pain after I get a peak test which disappears.

so a little check up with the doctor just to make sure all is okay.

I’m also going to try this cycle to have less stress (easier said than done) but we’re moving house and will be moved in just before my fertile window & have some family issues but going to just remind myself to put myself first for a while rather than others.

sorry for the rant, hope everyone is doing okay.

@Nmmck93 That’s the best thing you can do is going to the doctor. I’m in a similar boat but 12 DPO. I went to have blood tests yesterday for a whole list of things that my doctor wants testing. It feels like it gives you some of your control back if that makes sense. Because you’re being proactive about it? Doesn’t help when you have a bit of free time and start overthinking which is what I’m currently doing being off work this week.

Let’s hope AF doesn’t arrive this cycle but if it does then it’s all about making those positive steps to find answers.

DHB · 31/05/2023 19:51

@Nmmck93 Oh that’s frustrating for you :( Hopefully the docs can sort you out and you get some answers. I also had quite bad period type pains a few days ago on CD19, I had the same the middle of my cycle last month too so I reckon it might be ovulation pains, not that I’ve ever had them prior to the MC! But it would make sense I suppose.

This month sounds like it’ll be a better month, things to keep you busy and a new house to celebrate, hopefully this is the one as that’ll be lovely news :)

Suz1211 · 01/06/2023 05:55

Ok so my period never arrived on 29th as expected. Waited a few days thinking maybe its because I've been working extra recently and very tired/stressed.

I had two positive pregnancy tests the morning. Very faint - which is why I did the second.

Dreamer88 · 01/06/2023 06:32

@Suz1211 congratulations x

Nmmck93 · 01/06/2023 10:34

@Dreamer88 thank you, I do feel like being seen by a doctor would give me peace of mind. And maybe determine if I’m actually ovulating even though I feel I am with the pains around ovulation day.

@DHB are you on your TWW now?
I get ovulation pains like clockwork each month after my peak.

@Suz1211 congratulations hunny! Did you test during your TWW?

My tests have all been negative, AF due today but not here yet, I’m more expecting her to arrive tomorrow. 🙈

Suz1211 · 01/06/2023 11:03

@Dreamer88 thank you

@Nmmck93 I tested Fri 26th and got negative, period due Mon 29th and didn't arrive, tested Tues 30th and negative, still no period so tested this morning and then did the second because couldn't believe the faint line. Though I've pulled Tuesday's out the bin and that actually has a fainter pink line - but it is out of the time window when I saw the second line on that.

Nmmck93 · 01/06/2023 11:05

@Suz1211 aw congrats! Bet it's abit of a shock and you where just waiting for AF?
Gives me a little bit of hope now; AF is due today but I said at the beginning of the week to my partner it'll probably come Friday.
I never had a late period until TTC then last month I was a day late aswell. Hoping this time im 9months late for AF lol.

Suz1211 · 01/06/2023 11:13

@Nmmck93 I posted was it last week saying I was doubtful? I don't even know? I'm just getting my head around it all - obviously I am happy though.
I'll keep everything crossed for you

Nmmck93 · 01/06/2023 11:14

@Suz1211 yeah we all just get to a point I. Our TWW when we put ourselves out; I done that a few days ago after my negative test and haven't tested since. Just hoping if it's AF she'll come soon if it's a BFP I'll see a line in the coming days.

Congrats again x

Bluebell0921 · 01/06/2023 13:13

@Suz1211 aw congrats! I remember you saying last time because you’d had a negative that you didn’t have to worry about going to the theme park! Has that been? What are you gonna do? 😂

Suz1211 · 01/06/2023 15:16

@Bluebell0921 no it's next week!!! I think I'm starting to get signs of a really bad ear infection - they also make me really dizzy so I don't think rides are a good idea...right? 😂😂😂😂

DHB · 01/06/2023 20:51

@Nmmck93 Not a clue to be honest, as I wasn’t testing haha. But I think they’re ovulations pains, as it was CD19 and what I can only describe as really low right sided period aches, had a hot water bottle and curled up like a cat. What do you think? If so, I’ll be around 4DPO today perhaps.

Nmmck93 · 01/06/2023 20:56

@DHB yes I usually get them on the right but the odd time I'll get them on the left. Sounds like my ovulation pain.

AF arrived about an hour ago so I'm deffs out. So disheartening as each month goes in.

Onto Month 5 now for me.

Suz1211 · 01/06/2023 21:27

Oh @Nmmck93 I'm so sorry!

DHB · 02/06/2023 08:46

@Nmmck93 Oh no :( Sorry to see that! Definitely try the relaxed approach next month I’d say!

Bluebell0921 · 02/06/2023 09:49

@Nmmck93 really sorry to hear that lovely. I know you gave it a really good go this month. I remember when we did that and I was so much more disappointed when AF arrived. Hope you are ok!

Nmmck93 · 02/06/2023 09:53

@Suz1211 @DHB @Bluebell0921 thank you girls. Yeah it's dampened my mood but I'm not as disappointed as I thought I would be.

Have been up since 6:30 this morning with serious AF pains which is normal on my first full day of AF. Just going to enjoy the good weather over the weekend and reward myself with a few drinks. Then wait for AF to go, make an appointment at the doctors & start the next cycle.

Other half is working night shifts through my fertile week this month & I work days so on we're just going to go the relaxed approach and fit it in where we can.

Keep updated with all your results & baby dust to you all. 💜

Hi Ladies;

Just looking abit if advice as I've never had this before.
My AF seems to have gone all day today. She came Thursday night, was heavy enough Friday, light yesterday & gone today.

Just wonder has this happened to any of you? My cycles are usually 4/5 days long & the 5th day is just like insanely light. 🙈

OP posts:
Bluebell0921 · 04/06/2023 22:54

@Nmmck93 hi lovely! I’m very similar to you. Usually 4/5 days. I have had some where they’ve been slightly shorter. I’ve never looked into it but I’m sure I’ve read on here that people who have seen fertility specialists have always been told length of period is irrelevant it’s the length of the cycle that is more important so I’ve never worried too much if I have a slightly shorter period.

Suz1211 · 05/06/2023 06:58

@Nmmck93 for Feb I had seven solid days of bleeding, the first three or four was fairly heavy. In May I had three heavy days the two that felt like it was just the last dribbles and was barely making any mark on sanitary towels (sorry if tmi)

Nmmck93 · 05/06/2023 14:05

@Bluebell0921 @Suz1211 I've never had a short AF so it was just confusing; but I had my usual severe AF cramps on the first day. I'm tracking ovulation from today now rather than Wednesday becasue AF cut herself so short lol.

Tracking ovulation is also the part I dislike the most. I don't find the TWW as bad as tracking Ovulation hahaha.

Good luck to everyone this cycle. 🤞🏻
