Hey,

just thought I’d start a thread for those in their TWW.
I’m 1DPO - looking for people to chat to and just keep each other company as title states.

last month I was super patient during my TWW and fully waited until 12DPO and tested once.
I just have a feeling this month I’m going to be super impatient and need people to tell me off and not test early lol.

if you’re joining, what DPO are you and any symptoms?

I tried tracking OPKs but then went away for the weekend and forgot them! I THINK I’m around 4DPO as on the 22nd April, I started spotting really light pink tinged thick discharge, with some period type cramps, this happened I’ve Saturday and Sunday, and from Monday it went to light brown and has now stopped, if anyone has any ideas of whether that could have been ovulation?!

If so, then I should have it right with around 3/4DPO haha but we’ll see!

@DHB do you normally bleed at ovulation? I’d say that’s quite unusual.

@Arthursmom No, not that I’ve ever noticed!! I’ve read up about ovulation spitting and it seems like it could fit, given it was around two weeks after my period as well. It was literally just when I wiped once the Saturday with the crampy feeling and once Sunday, then Monday very light brown. Haven’t had any since though! Probably clutching at straws 🫣

@DHB I have never had it but I have read about it before, if it's not concerning for you I wouldn't worry, if it's new to you maybe get checked out?

I'm 6DPO today and I'm not sure what going on but everything I've ate the last two days have tasted like perfume. 🙈

@Nmmck93 To be honest, it’s not concerning me at the moment as it’s stopped anyway, but I think it might just be my cycles changing since the MC as this is my first ‘normal’ cycle since.

Yeah, but I've been incredibly I'll so any symptoms I have could in relation to the infection but the change in taste is abit of an odd one, hoping it's a good sign lol.

@Nmmck93 Oh bless you!! That’s confusing then isn’t it! Symptom spotting becomes a full time job along with all the other steps of ttc 😂

@dhb oh last month I was avid symptom spotting and swore I had every sign of pregnancy and I held out until 12dpo to test and was BFN and then AF was due and she didn't show up and I was convinced I was pregnant, but AF showed the next day lol.

I don't know about you but it makes me crazy & it's annoying how most pregnancy symptoms are also AF symptoms lol.

@Nmmck93 Oh goodness that is so annoying!! It’s like AF knows and likes to tease, but it’s probably just down to stressing really isn’t it.

Yes they are so similar! I feel for people who do have period symptoms, I literally don’t get anything, apart from the bleeding so any symptoms for me this month, I’ll be reaching for those HCGs with a magnifying glass and all different lighting settings at the ready 😂

@DHB omg you're a scream hahaha!! I wish I didn't get any symptoms so I could be like that.
But the week leading up to AF I get really sore boobs to the point then being squashed in a bra is painful or going down stairs with no bra on 😂 and get mild cramps.

I'd LOVE my BFP this month so I can chill on my holiday and be in my own little bubble with my OH.

@DHB yes 💯 will be normalising or just a tiny blood vessel 🩸 one drop of blood is enough to make cm look pink or brown. Fingers crossed for this cycle. So sorry about your MC 😞

@Nmmck93 thanks. Nothing I can do about it either way so 🤷🏽‍♀️ symptoms still there and I also feel very ‘full’ but who knows. Tests I wouldn’t say are drastically darker but aren’t any lighter either so who knows. Hopefully this is a lucky thread for everyone xx

@Arthursmom what brand of tests are you using? I'm praying for you that the lines start getting darker and are a positive for you. 💜

I have just seen someone do a boots test at 14dpo and was a strong positive, I'm wondering are those better that FRER.

It's been so hard to get hold of them in stores as their low in stock, just wondering is there a problem with them and that's why they are only available online.

Maybe try a different test of AF doesn't show up.

@Nmmck93 Oh that’s crap! Maybe they’ll just be extra sore or some little surprise symptoms thrown in there. That would be such lovely timing for your holiday wouldnt it?! 😍 You’ll have to update on here!

@Nmmck93 Ha! Me too, let’s keep positive and then wait until our stupid early testing comes back with big fat negatives because we’re all too impatient to wait until a decent enough time 🙃😂

@DHB hahahaha exactly. I've 4 FRER & 2 CB early results at home, a plastic stick cheapie and like 60 strip cheapies 😂 I don't think I'll use the expensive ones until I see a sniff of a line on cheapies first lol. I'd be basically flushing money haha.

@Nmmck93 😂😂😂 Amazing! You’re well and truly stocked up! I actually need to order some more, I have one Boots cheapie stick left (maybe that’s a good thing actually haha)

@DHB trust me that's a good thing, last month my OH hid my tests so I couldn't test early, this month he's decided to see how much will power I have... this man don't know that I want to dip a stick every pee I have but I've been good. It's only 6DPO and ain't cracked open one test... come Friday / Saturday I'll probably go through them all until next Friday 😂

I’m seriously fighting the urge to test and I’m symptom spotting like mad! If I didn’t know my ovulation was 5 days late I’d be thinking AF was late by now but because I know ovulation was late I know there’s no point testing until Sunday. Help me fight the urge 😆

Is feeling really tired a symptom at 5DPO? I’ve been asleep for an hour straight after work. Eyes won’t stay open.

Or I’m just being lazy!

@Dreamer88 I think I'm 5dpo today. Was feeling tired yesterday but thought nothing of it. This morning I slept through my husband's alarm which isn't normal, especially when I went to sleep about an hour earlier than I usually would.

7dpo now and I’m absolutely loosing the patience on holding out to test.

obviously being I’ll I’m not sure if my symptoms are from that or possibly pregnancy lol.

Tiredness, low appetite & massive acid reflux/ heartburn. Niggling pains & I feel like my underwear are constantly wet. 🙈
