@Mirla I would keep testing it’s still early. Was your urine more dilute than usual? When do you test? It’s unlikely that you would have peaked already and missed it.

Well after saying that did an opk this eve as it’s cd10 and it looks nearly positive! To add to the theme of baffling opks… also have absolutely no idea where I put the actual stick after I took the photo 🙈 told OH I didn’t want to have sex last night when he asked and said he should conserve his energy for this week 🤦‍♀️

think I’ll repeat it cos both the lines look quite pale.

@Muriel84 getting there I think. I would definitely test again in a couple of hours🙏

@Muriel84 looks like mine from this morning! I tested in afternoon and it was darker then perhaps a bit less dark this evening so it may have even peaked already. Pesky little peak 😂

@Eirlys1986 @TheFanciestPants thanks both! Would be very unusual for me to ovulate early! What is going on with my blooming cycles. X

@Muriel84 I think cd12 is a perfectly respectable day to ovulate (I am expecting to tomorrow, although first time using OPKs, who knows! 😂).
It seems like a case of remote sync-ing with @Eirlys1986 also expecting an egg in the next day or so.
Keeping my fingers crossed for us all 😍

@TheFanciestPants 😂 maybe we have synced @Muriel84 , perhaps your ovaries saw the photos of my LH tests this morning and decided to join in the party

@TickingTui Thanks for sharing this article! I'll definitely give it a go next cycle. 😊 I'm 8DPO but we aren't properly trying until June, it was a spur of the moment decision on my supposed day of ovulation that we'd casually start trying. But I haven't been doing any OPKs! No cramping etc, not expecting anything this month. Although I feel like last time I wasn't cramping until about 14DPO! I tested at 18DPO (the will power). 😅

@Eirlys1986 Your OPK looked really strong to me but I'm useless with the classics and have only used the digital one. I didn't even realise a baseline was needed 😅 hopefully you've covered your bases anyway with all that SMEPing!

DH is away this week with work so at least the week until my period should fly by when I'm working and running after my toddler 😅

@TheFanciestPants my Doc (recent Grad) says the latest advice they get is to recommend trying 3 times a week throughout the month even during fertile window. But I'm too nervous not to use every chance - then I need the break!! 😂Will try a few time earlier tho to try lengthening my luteal phase.

Are you using the Premom app and sticks? If so,how has it been going for you??

@LeopardLover No worries! Glad it's useful 😃And good on you for starting the casual tries. We waited until we were sure we were totally ready - and that just upped the stress in retrospect...! And omg yes the willpower! I couldn't help but test at 8dpo for my first which ofc was negative, then my husband wouldn't believe it until the third positive because he was afraid to be let down again 😂

So frustrated with my long cycles! Everyone has exciting things going on and I’m still on CD11 and can’t even start testing with the OPKs for another 2 days 🙈😂

@Mrsspoon3 thanks 🤞, I’ve got to say, I would find a long cycle really frustrating too as you just want to get going with things once trying. However, I worry when I sometimes throw a short cycle so we can never win whatever our body decides to do! 😂 x

@Eirlys1986 yup same here! The darkest line I’ve ever had on an opk this morning. I’m CD11. Guess I’m ovulating either today or tomorrow. No idea what’s going on. I’ve never ovulated early. I guess actually I having tracked that many “normal” cycles cos I had two early losses before LO. Maybe only 4 times that I’ve tracked, but always ovulate CD14.

do you think it’s the proceive max?! Or the grapefruit juice? I’ve heard of things prolonging your cycle, but not shortening it. Gutted we didn’t DTD Sunday but did Saturday and last night and will today and tomorrow for a very short smep! X

😂 maybe it is the fabled proceive max! Either way, I would say an ovulation around day 12-13 is pretty optimal as gives time for a nice long luteal phase too 👍🏻 good luck x

@Mrsspoon3 awww, I was always jealous of long cycle girls (fewer periods = more fun!). The grass is always greener methinks 😍
@Eirlys1986 @Muriel84 I definitely peaked last night confirmed with additional sleep disturbing stabbing pains 👀. So think I have either ovulated or in process of doing so today (cd12).
We dtd all days from cd7 until now so hopefully should be all covered.
@TickingTui thank you 😘. I think it has gone ok with the OPKs got 1.44 yesterday evening and then back down to 0.66 this morning so will keep my fingers crossed. Yeah, our GP said that, but he also said "have a lot of sex, as much as you can!" so I wonder if it's recommensed 3 times a week so as not to worry people too much😂.

So true @Eirlys1986 and @TheFanciestPants, we always want what we haven’t got haha. It’s just hard when I have to wait so long to try again after AF, and I get fewer tries each year than everyone else! Still, at least they’re fairly regular now - up until a few years ago I could go 6 months to a year between periods, so can’t complain too much! And it gives me time for things to settle a bit with my little boy as his reflux is really bad at the moment so we’re getting no sleep, so energy levels for ttc are a bit low haha.

@Eirlys1986 thanks, you too! Have just taken a look at smep and seems there’s plenty left to do anyhoo if I take tomorrow as ovulation day. Hope my period doesn’t come early! (Or at all 🫠)

@TheFanciestPants thats pretty good going! Well done! Also had some crampy pains yesterday, left sided stabbing in the night and lots of ewcm so all the signs here too. I think have as much sex as you can is sound advice unless there’s any reason not to!

I haven't caught up yet on all the posts of this week, but just saw you guys took Proceive and had an earlier ovulation. I took it this month, and think I ovulated 4 days early. EWCM dried up by CD 14 and I usually ovulate a fair bit later. So maybe! We possibly missed it, as I thought I'd be ovulating this weekend while we were away, so only went a couple times as got caught early!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thanks for sharing! Have had a quick google and seems it’s the ubiquinol. Think I’m the same. Peaked this morning when I was expecting to peak Thursday night. Strange! X

@Muriel84 oh that's interesting! I've added the Proceive normal pills, and also a dose of ubiquinol, so I'm probably getting a decent amount. Ovulated four days earlier than the last two months.

@TheFanciestPants Haha that sounds like better advice to me and that's been my strategy... Worked for the first! Cool Premom is working for you - I tracked for months with non official strips, and it keeps predicting the wrong ovulation dates for me. But going to give it another shot with official sticks.

And omg, I need to get in on Proceive Max... I'm amazed to hear it's made some of you ovulate days earlier! Did you still have the same cycle length?

On my front I've been cramping for 3 days now... all low-down, soft aches that come and go, same as my 1st. I'm too feckin' scared to think much about it. Just going to plan for next month and try not to let my mind drift too much... 😬
