@bringmearainbow oh I get that! We should have been married 2 years by now but Covid moved the wedding so only 18 months. Hope you didn’t have to move your wedding too much? Covid was awful for weddings!

@Alexis7890 we moved it a whole year same date just a year later 🙄 tbf our original date was terrible rain and storms and the year we got married it was like a heatwave so silver linings and all that 😂 we were so lucky all our vendors and venue just moved to the new date we didn't lose any money we had family that we're getting married a similar time and they are still not married because they lost 40 grand it was terrible

@bringmearainbow did you manage to have a completely restriction free wedding? We moved venue and photographer (losing around 1500) but the wedding was perfect in the end! I moved our wedding quite early into the pandemic when the wedding was still months away so didn’t lose too much. Ours was October 2021 in the end so no masks, distancing or anything by that point. Aww that’s awful they lost so much money!!

@Alexis7890 yes it was May 22 so no restrictions. We actually moved ours in March 2021 so really close to the original date the venue were asking us what we wanted to do it was around the time they were deciding how many people and what restrictions they were having. We missed out on 30 people by a week so we could have had 6. Since we had over 200 people coming as gutting as it was we moved the lot. We did consider having a 30 person wedding if we could have done but we could never of had 6 that didn't even cover our immediate family 🙄

@bringmearainbow ahh you did the best by moving it! Wow 200! I don’t know how people managed 6, we planned for 30 at one point as a back up for just in case and that was hard enough, we definitely couldn’t have done 6. Have you found some good air bnbs?

@Alexis7890 I know we both have extremely large families 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have found 2 DH only likes one of them. I would like to have a kind of separate annexe with breakfast included but it's proving to be difficult so far our winner is self catering which is fine but would rather someone else cook me breakfast 🤣

@bringmearainbow ahhh 1st wedding anniversary is special! Oooh Norfolk nice! I know super lush place to stay there. But it isn’t cheap. 🫣🫣
Me & DH have been married 8 years this June 🤣🤣 HOW time just flies I swear

So had my pre-op ladies. All went fine. All still planned in as usual. Got meds to take and anti bac stuff to wash in. And met my consultant anaesthetist who will be looking after me on the day.

@Indianna2006 omg I'm so excited for you! It must feel very real now! Do you know what time your op is scheduled for or will they contact you on the day? Interested to know how it works as we will be having a scheduled c section too!

@bunnykins123 we don’t know the exact time know as obv with babies and emergencies happening they can’t quite schedule to plan in advance.

but at our hospital, electives are booked for morning surgery slots. 3 maximum in the morning. I am to ring at 6am to check there hasn’t been loads of emergencies needing to go to theatre (just incase she said)
We are to arrive Friday at 7am onto the ward. A then the surgeon and anaesthetist will come and visit us and let us know if we are 1st, 2nd or 3rd on the list and a rough estimated time.
The aim is all 3 electives will be done before lunchtime.

UNLESS of course emergencies arrive and delay it. So presume it’s most likely very similar!

@LuckyMoonstone i used to and i hated it, are you able to avoid the person easily?

@Alexis7890 no they are part of my (very small) team and sit opppsite me so I have to listen to him talk bollocks all day 😂 I only engage with him if it’s about work and I really have to. I try to get as much info as I need from elsewhere. I know it sounds petty but honestly you ask him one question and he babbles away for AGES before getting to the point

@Indianna2006 ❤️❤️ so excited for you!!! However I'm dying to know what antibacterial stuff you got..coming down with antibiotic eye drops, not an antibacterial wash in sight for months here😂

@LuckyMoonstone omg yea. It's a girl and she often talks about how she has no friends. Literally one of these days I'm gonna turn to her and say 'you have no friends coz you're a bloody cow' honest to god when I worked at a different shop she was so unliked and will whisper about you when you're 2 feet away. Im her manager now. I may hold my tongue

@MrsJGrealish 💗 I have to wash in it tonight. Wash hair and body in it tomorrow. And then again wash body super early Friday morning in it. I was like my hair 😳😂 prob gonna stink all clinical. Lol

@Indianna2006 I didn’t realise you had to fully wash in some anti bac stuff, how weird 😆

@Indianna2006 eeeek good luck the octenisan isn't actually that awful smelling but then I didn't wash my hair in that that would just be a knotty nightmare 😂 let me know the place hubby is paying 🙊
