@bunnykins123 although one last big push this month b4 I run out completely 😘 hope you and family are doing well xx

TheBirdintheCave · 22/06/2023 23:44

@bunnykins123 I'm really not sure. More excited than before but I'm not really expecting it to work so also a bit blah. I'm hoping I feel differently once the embryo is on board.

I'll keep you all appraised of the process.

FfoxRedN · 23/06/2023 06:14

@LuckyMoonstone one Neal won't hurt, they do 'healthy' okay ones in Asda and M&S that are both really tasty so worth a look. Save you some brain space 😊

@bunnykins123 I hope you're doing ok! I'm almost 18 weeks now so it's getting on a bit! It feels very bizarre to be in this position. I'm hoping to relax a lot more when the 20 week scan is all ok 😊. Can't tell you how amazing the last 2 weeks without cyclogest have been!! xx

@bunnykins123 I’m only slightly above range! And fasting level was fine. So bloody annoying. I honestly don’t think this will be a big baby but I know full well they’ll bang on about it and probably not ‘let me’ go past my due date, although they’ll have to get past me being a stubborn arse about it

curliegirlie · 23/06/2023 10:17

Still in slight limbo as I don't know for certain when I ovulated and currently on CD30 - I haven't had a cycle this long since January or something. But I took a Waitrose test yesterday which was snowy white so still reckon I'm out this month.

bunnykins123 · 23/06/2023 10:42

@LuckyMoonstone are they offering you growth scans as a result? That's very possible, did you want to let things progress naturally? I have my c section date booked for 15th August which is about 2 weeks before my actual due date! That being said, I look like I am carrying a small planet around with me...

@FfoxRedN that's amazing though! It's gone so quickly!! Have you felt babe yet? Haha I can imagine - cyclogest is grim!

@TheBirdintheCave sometimes I think that's the best attitude to have, when things go better than expected it's a lovely surprise. I have a really good feeling for you though. When is the egg transfer supposed to happen?

@MrsJGrealish there really is something horribly addictive in POAS! I wanted to POAS a few weeks ago just to see what would happen but I've run out! I don't think I've ever run out before. I think that's a good place to be - keep trying but not putting everything into it. Did you end up getting tested for NK cells?

bringmearainbow · 23/06/2023 10:55

@bunnykins123 how was it to take? I've got clexane and cyclogest too

@LuckyMoonstone ahhh that's rubbish lovely. Don't let them push you into a birth you don't want I think you have to just see how you're feeling about it when the time comes

AF arrived today 🥳 that means O will be smack bang in the middle of our holiday

FfoxRedN · 23/06/2023 11:31

@curliegirlie aw I'm sorry it wasn't positive, are you tracking O with OPKs or anything?

@bunnykins123 it has gone quick, but with 3 weeks till the next scan it feels a long while!
Not felt anything yet, but did get to hear the heartbeat at the 16 week appt 😊. Do you mind me asking why you're having a CS? You have probably said before but baby brain is rife! xx

FfoxRedN · 23/06/2023 11:32

@bringmearainbow yay for AF!!! Make sure that aircon is working and enjoy the holiday 🤣 x

bringmearainbow · 23/06/2023 11:35

@FfoxRedN 😂 it better be working!

LuckyMoonstone · 23/06/2023 11:42

@bunnykins123 yeah got a growth scan in a couple of weeks. But then I saw my midwife yesterday and she’s requested me a scan for some time this weekend because my bump is only 1cm bigger than two weeks ago instead of 2cm. I thought that would be a good thing with me being on the 90th centile 😳 I always fluctuated slightly with DS exactly the same as I am now but apparently the guidelines have changed since then

LuckyMoonstone · 23/06/2023 11:43

@bringmearainbow hopefully being on holiday will get you both in the mood haha 😆

curliegirlie · 23/06/2023 12:18

@FfoxRedN this month I ran out of OPKs on CD14!!! Assumed from recent months likely to be CD15 or 16, but now I'm still left waiting for AF! Tempted to get some cheapy tests from Savers just to continue the torture....Slightly frustrating that FRERs seem to have both shot up in price and disappeared from the face of the earth....

TheBirdintheCave · 23/06/2023 13:53

@bunnykins123 It'll be about 2.5 weeks from now. I have day 5 embryos so it should be around CD19 as they put it back five days after triggered O to coincide with the start of the implantation window.

Can't believe you've got your section date already! 😨

@bringmearainbow I'm CD1 today too so we're cycle twins again 😂I hope you have a fantastic time on holiday 😉

@curliegirlie Sorry it was still a BFN.

curliegirlie · 23/06/2023 23:47

Aaaand AF is finally in the house, a couple of days after I expected her 🙄, which FF reckons means I ovulated on CD17 (given usual 12 day LP), which means another month of pretty optimal DTD-ing (O-3, O-1, O) all to no fucking avail .....

bunnykins123 · 24/06/2023 04:51

@TheBirdintheCave 5 embryos is brilliant! Do you know if they are popping more than 1 back in? Imagine you get twins! It all sounds so promising, I've literally got everything crossed for you!

@curliegirlie oh hun, I'm sorry. That sucks. Indents are absolute bastards.

@LuckyMoonstone I wouldn't worry too much about measurements with your bump. There is so much room for error with how the midwife measures it. Mine hasn't even attempted to measure my bump yet 😂 I have another scan in a few weeks too. I feel like everyone I'm talking to at the moment is at the upper end on the growth scale! We are off on holiday today (hence why I'm up at stupid o clock) so will start doing blood tests when I'm back. Have you started?

@FfoxRedN it's the loveliest noise! So glad you got to hear it as some trusts don't do it. Of course! I had a semi-emergency c section with DD (42 weeks, didn't dilate past 8cm, was in labour for 52hrs) so just decided to have everything planned this time around. She was 10lbs so I clearly birth big children (ironically she's diddy now!) so just thought it would save a lot of stress and uncertainty. I quite like the fact I have a date and can plan towards that!

@bringmearainbow absolutely fine! No side affects what so ever. I think actually I have a whopper of a cold just as I started it and some other ladies I chat to seemed to have the same but it may be coincidental mainly as it lowers your immune system. Have you started the meds yet?

LuckyMoonstone · 24/06/2023 10:09

@bunnykins123 well looking at my chart this time I’m measuring exactly the same as I did with DS, on or above the 90th centile, and he was born full term on the 50th! I have a long torso, that’s where the extra CMs come from 🤣 I have tried to start the tests this morning but they are pissing me off already, just keep getting an error message every single time, I’ve wasted a whole days worth of strips and not even got a reading. I’m in for a scan later so I might ask when I’m there if the diabetic midwife is around, see if she can tell me why it’s being so shit.

LuckyMoonstone · 24/06/2023 14:16

Ive just had my growth scan and I’m sooo confused about what they are telling me. I was referred because growth rate of bump had ‘slowed’ but still on 97th centile. Scan today confirmed all measurements fine, nothing out of proportion, but sonographer commented on it being a big baby, currently weighing at 28.5 weeks the average weight for about 30-31 weeks. But my scan report says weight and measurements just above 50th centile? So how is that a big baby? Is my bump measurement supposed to be so different to actual baby measurements?

TheBirdintheCave · 24/06/2023 16:52

@bbunnykins123 There are six in total they're 'day five' which means they were allowed to grow to day five and then frozen :)

They only put one back at a time unless you're over 40. Still a risk of twins though :/ Definitely do not want two as it would bankrupt us 😂

MrsJGrealish · 24/06/2023 20:09

@LuckyMoonstone all I will say is that my DCs were measured as 7lbs max. The 9lb DD and 8lb 11 DS came as a huge shock to me. They aren't that accurate. And I've never had my bump measured. What weight was your DS?

This was many moons ago however. Maybe it's more accurate now. Sorry about the GD and diet restrictions 😕 xx

LuckyMoonstone · 24/06/2023 20:26

@MrsJGrealish he was 8lb at 42 weeks which I don’t think is that big! My friend is tiny and her son was born at 38 weeks weighing the same. This baby just seems to be going the same way IMO so I’m not gonna be scared into an induction

MrsJGrealish · 24/06/2023 20:37

@LuckyMoonstone absolutely not big at all. And I went early with mine. 38 weeks for both. Go with your instinct. Also I'm shamed to admit I smoked during these pregnancies. Stopped 6 years ago now. But still..they should have been small 🤷‍♀️

LuckyMoonstone · 24/06/2023 20:53

@MrsJGrealish thank you, I do feel a bit better after the scan, I’ve got a few more over the next month or so, so hopefully growth stays steady

MrsJGrealish · 24/06/2023 21:05

@LuckyMoonstone 😘😘

TheBirdintheCave · 24/06/2023 23:58

You guys, I drank half a bottle of prosecco tonight as we were celebrating G finally giving up his dummy to sleep 😂 Feels pretty great now but maybe not tomorrow 😅
