@bunnykins123 thank you ❤️ just got to the hospital they don't have a bed for me yet 🙈 gonna be a long day I think

I'll see if we can get tests private and I'll go on the list for nhs but I won't hold out much hope that they will be quick. I presume I will still need to wait for my cycle to come back before they do any tests anyway let's hope this time they don't leave any in!

Thanks for all the love ladies I really appreciate it ❤️

MrsJGrealish · 17/05/2023 09:19

@bringmearainbow 💔 thinking of you.

There's no proper private testing in NI they refuse to look at NK cells. I've been talking with another girl going through a similar process. This country is like a step back in time

LuckyMoonstone · 17/05/2023 10:44

@bringmearainbow thinking of you today, hope it all goes ok and is over soon xx

TheBirdintheCave · 17/05/2023 10:51

I hope today goes as well as it can @bringmearainbow

bringmearainbow · 17/05/2023 13:18

All out just hoping I can get out quickly and go home 🤞🏼 I had a room before but they are short on beds so I'm in a ward which I don't dislike but I really can't be bothered to make chit chat

FfoxRedN · 17/05/2023 13:34

@bringmearainbow you need to work on your RBF then love, no one spoke to me 😂.
Hope you're doing ok and you have a speedy recovery. Xxx

@TheBirdintheCave how are you doing lovely? Did you get a day 5 update? 😘 Xxx

@bringmearainbow ❤️❤️

@FfoxRedN exactly 😂 I have mine down to an art

bringmearainbow · 17/05/2023 13:42

@FfoxRedN I can't help it I'm too nice and they are old ladies makes me feel bad to not chat 😂

bunnykins123 · 17/05/2023 13:53

@bringmearainbow You absolutely don't need to talk to anyone, just rest and relax. How are you feeling? Xx

@MrsJGrealish are you able to get them checked privately? I honestly believe in NK cells, maybe it's just that the meds worked for me but I'm part of another group and it worked for all of them too (could have been luck though!)

bringmearainbow · 17/05/2023 13:57

@bunnykins123 I feel ok. Bleeding a bit more than I did before but it's not too bad. I'm just ready to go home they are short staffed so no clue when I'll get out of here I've had all my obs and technically can go home but still think it will be a while.

I had to ask them about testing the baby it was a good job I did because they clearly were not going to 🙈

MrsJGrealish · 17/05/2023 14:09

@bunnykins123 so I joined a Facebook group called 'uk recurrent miscarriage loss' and there's a girl I know on there. She's just had her 3rd loss. I haven't gone down the private route yet but she says in NI its a nightmare. The drug you are on had to be recommended by a video call by a consultant in london. Like I know I'll need a lot of bloods and checks before then so could do that here. It just seems like unnecessary stress for everyone here 😭

I'm still in the TWW atm and going on hol next week so I think I know my first step just see how far they take it xx

At least you did though and they're going to do it. Well done for asking it's so easy not to when they're rushing around etc.
both mine were quite different recoveries but both went well in the end so just rest up and take your time with it 😘 xx

@bringmearainbow that's just ridiculous that they wouldn't even think. 'Be your own advocate' may well be the moto but after surgery and crashing hormones you could easily forget 😡

I'm so sorry this happened to you again xx 😢

curliegirlie · 17/05/2023 14:43

@bringmearainbow I am so so sorry for your updates. I think recurrent MC must be even more difficult to deal with than straight fertility issues. It means you can't even get excited when you see that second line 🥺. Do look after yourself xxx

TheBirdintheCave · 17/05/2023 15:10

@FfoxRedN We have six embryos in the freezer :) 5AB, 4AB, 4BB x3 and 3BB. Hopefully one of those is genetically normal and will stick! We've got an appointment for next Weds to talk about what we need to do for frozen transfer.

FfoxRedN · 17/05/2023 15:26

@TheBirdintheCave wonderful news and a good number too xx

TheBirdintheCave · 17/05/2023 15:29

@FfoxRedN I guess. I won't really believe its good unless it actually works I think. We didn't get any super high quality AA ones which has worried me a fair amount 😕

bunnykins123 · 18/05/2023 08:43

@TheBirdintheCave that's brilliant, 6 good eggies is so promising. Got everything crossed for you!

TheBirdintheCave · 18/05/2023 08:48

AF arrived this morning so I should have one normal cycle now (which, without temping and trying, is going to feel very weird) and then hopefully the FET cycle starts around 20th of June.

bringmearainbow · 18/05/2023 08:52

@TheBirdintheCave ahhh that's great one step closer ❤️ I must admit whenever my cycle returns I think I'm going to just wing it I don't have the energy for poas but it will feel really strange not to do it after spending so much time doing it. They obv said do a test in 3 weeks I just laughed and was like sure like that will be negative 🙄

MrsJGrealish · 18/05/2023 10:42

@bringmearainbow how are you? Did you sleep? Is DH ok? There's no way that'll be negative 🙄

TheBirdintheCave · 18/05/2023 10:57

@bringmearainbow I don't know why they say three weeks. I feel like barely anyone's is negative after three weeks.

bringmearainbow · 18/05/2023 12:01

@MrsJGrealish I slept terribly went to bed at 11 was still trying to get to sleep at 1.45 then ds woke up at 3.20 I got back into bed at 4 and finally fell asleep after Dh left at 6 then had to get ds up at 7.30 🙄 hellish I'm at the thyroid doctors today to see what he says. DH seems ok he just tells me it's ok and we can keep trying he said about private testing before I did he's pretty amazing really ❤️ I'm still feeling pretty crappy about the whole thing but I'm going on a diet I need to lose a stone for sure 2 if I can I'm the biggest I've ever been and that just makes me feel even worse and you never know it might help 🤞🏼

@TheBirdintheCave @MrsJGrealish it annoys me when they say it such unrealistic expectations for women who don't know any different. I think what they should say is do a test in 3 weeks but it can take 6-8 weeks which is also normal 🙄

curliegirlie · 18/05/2023 12:34

TheBirdintheCave · 18/05/2023 10:57

I know. Mine was 3 weeks and I think my MC was really early (in that they saw no signs of pregnancy on the scan)....

bunnykins123 · 18/05/2023 16:55

@TheBirdintheCave that's probably the first time we celebrate AF arriving on this forum! It'll probably be quite nice having a cycle where you don't need to track or anything!

@bringmearainbow they didn't tell me anything after mine. I remember testing about 6 weeks after and thought I had a new pregnancy as I naively thought HCG just vanishes after the operation. It really panicked me as nobody really told me about what to expect! Mine was unusual though as it took me 12 weeks to finally go back to 0 🤦‍♀️
