March SMEP!

starting this thread as I’m going to try SMEP this month And thought it would be good for moral support to do it with other ladies. It’s worked for me previously. I’m on cycle day 7. So will start testing from tomorrow! Let’s do this!

Can I join please. Literally finished SMEP on Friday night. First time trying that method. Cycle 3 TTC#2

Absolutely! The more the merrier! This will be my second cycle ttc my first! How have you found it? Are you taking and supplements or vitamins x

Found it ok. We managed to do all the days. Positive OPK on day 12 so assuming I ovd on CD13 ish. Currently CD18 and 5DPO.

I'm taking 7 seas. Little bit worried it will take longer this time due to age but got my fingers crossed.

Are you taking any?

Hey Ladies can I join? I'm in the middle of SMEP waiting on my positive ovulation test. This is my third cycle ttc #1 and my second cycle using SMEP, I almost sure it worked for us last month but I think it was a chemical or very very early miscarriage due to the heavy and long period I had, it gives me hope that hopefully it will work again. I'm just not able to do the very last day due to staying with family but I didn't do the final day last month either ideally I would like to. Baby dust for us all xx

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 I just had a realisation this morning that I actually didn’t do smep correct last month. I had all the sex upto day of positive ppl and then stopped! I think I have just been so in my head and focussing on a positive ppl that I actually messed it up! So this month I’ll do it properly. Having said that my period felt a bit odd last month. It was heavier, some clots but not longer than usual and came a day late but the cramping before hand was different so not sure if that was an early chemical as I did think I’d seen a feint line on a pregnancy test. Ovulation should be around OH’s birthday so shouldn’t be too hard DTD haha. I’m not taking any supplements apart from Folic Acid. Welcome @Babydustthisyear ! The last 2 tries are supposed to be the most important in Smep but I guess it could happen with any of them! This will be our month - positive energy 🥰

Yes keeping my fingers crossed. I have some odd pin prick like pains low down today so hoping that's a good sign. X

my ovulation sticks are getting darker so should be on time with ovulation over the weekend.

DTD today…I’ll try again tonight and then once a day till Tuesday!

I’m trying SMEP for the first time this month after a long journey and also trying a multitude of other things 🤪🤞🏻

But I am only day2! Itching to begin.
Ive used countdown to pregnancy to plan it for me! Already forwarded to other half 🤣

How long have you been trying? What’s your age if you don’t mind me asking?

I am fully into SMEP right now….DTD just before but I’m not sure OH was in deep enough (tmi soz!).

Have been taking my folic and OPK. Gone from 0.51 to 1.03 in roughly 24 hours. So hopefully these next 3 days are worth it because I am knackered!!!!! LOL.

Trying for 1+ year now, there are some months we missed due to illness/ work/ holidays. But defo consistently for a long time.
originally told it was OH (low sperm) now I have been diagnosed with PCO, so way too many follicles but that’s better than none. (I try to stay light hearted 🤞🏻)

So really this is our first month, knowing what we know now!
Other half has had new sperm analysis which shows HUGE improvement and got told all good to be able to do every day if we wanted! He managed this with diet and vitamins! So I hope I get the same results!

SMEP will be new for us as for at least 7 months we always avoided every day sex due to low concentration!

I am on new supplements to help me, new diet, new approach - it was a scary diagnosis to start, but I feel like I am in control for once!

Ahhh you will be fine girl! Don’t stress. I got preg first time trying with SMEP last year but had a MC.

I tested twice daily. Hoping it’s quite quick this time round too.

I still haven’t even started! 😂 i begin Wednesday according to this SMEP plan…

Can’t help think that is is too many times on the run up… but I’ll do as I’m told if it works

100% it works we were lucky as I got my peak on CD12 so didn't do it too many times before we started the 3 day block. I would guess as I tested positive earlier I caught it in the 1st or 2nd day of the block of 3. Good luck!! X

I am nearing my ovulation now, can’t wait to relax into it!

@lottieb92 hi hun. How’s it going? I’m ok. Caved and tested @8 dpo. Negative obviously. Lol. But don’t think I’m out completely. I’m due on Saturday so will wait and see if I’m late. All I can say is I have felt a bit tired and nauseous and my farts stink (TMI!) but they are my usual AF symptoms.

it’s funny…I’m trying. Definately want a baby…daughter preferably lol but the other side of me is like this is major. I’m giving up my life lol and I panic. Also fear of giving birth! Aaaaargh so hard being a woman xx
