@bringmearainbow haha love a bit of scheduled baby making. Tbf, I've always gone with that approach. Not romantic in the slightest but at least there can be no excuses 😂 are you beginning to use strips yet?

Had my follow up. The balance of cells in my lining suggest low NK cells but also an unfussy selection process: so my body should have never implanted the last two pregnancies. He did say the sitagliptin should make this process more robust, so 3 cycles not trying again.
I've also had an amazing opportunity come up at work, but it means postponing trying for about 10 months again so I've got to turn it down really 😩. It's just so frustrating when I may not even get a baby at the end of all this anyway, but then miss out aswell in other aspects. It's all a bit of a frustrating situation like my life is on hold and maybe for nothing xx

@bunnykins123 I know I’ve got no reason to believe that anything’s gone wrong, it’s just so hard not to let the negative thoughts in. I’m ok today, just anxious to get to Thursday evening!

@FfoxRedN well in some ways, it's a good thing to get some answers and also know a bit more about what happened with the last 2 pregnancies. I know it's frustrating when you have to delay trying, do you think you will go with the medication? Awh shame about the promotion, it often does feel like ttc puts everything else on hold.

@LuckyMoonstone well I'll be thinking of you! I do understand how hard it is to have positive thoughts though. But from everything you told us, it all sounds very positive.

@FfoxRedN ahhh lovely what a bloody conundrum 🙈 is the new job not something you could do whilst TTC? It's so hard when the options are basically waiting and more waiting. Would ivf help or not make much difference? Xxx

It would be an attachment which would be 4 days away from home per week (staying away) but an active job which I couldn't do health and safety wise whilst pregnant, if I was even home on the right nights to DTD to get pregnant. So it's kind of double ended in it's limitations. It wouldn't start for another 4-6 months either so they'd probably be pissed if I fell in that time. I don't know if I should even mention my intentions, say no, or say yes 😂. I'm booking a psychic reading as silly as that sounds to see if it gives me any direction. 😬

@bringmearainbow IVF would possibly reduce the chances of another chromosome issue, however the consultant just said that when they PGTA test, they test 5/150 cells or so. So sometimes they detect abnormal cells in that sample but that it could potentially be a viable embryo, vice versa, they could show as normal and the 145 remaining cells contain abnormalities. So chances are reduced but it's not infallible xx

@FfayeN ah ok I get it, yeah that set up doesn’t sound compatible with ttc does it 😕 it’s so hard to decide which is the right path to go down. I don’t think going for a reading is silly, I’m not super into them but I have had them done a few times before out of interest. And the last reading I had last Feb which was specifically about pregnancy, she said the number 10 was very important. I got pregnant 10 months later! Coincidence haha but I like to think the universe was giving me a sign and it was right. I’m not religious so I feel like I need something to give me hope otherwise I’d just wallow in despair.

@FfayeN I agree that seeing a psychic is not stupid at all x Based on what you said, I'd probably go with telling work about your intentions and seeing what they say. We all know what a smart lady you are, maybe they could think of something that could tick all the boxes as in get you the promotion but minimise days you spend away and the physical labour. I appreciate it might not be possible depending on the nature of the job. I was surprised when you said it's an active job because I surely thought you were some sort of negotiator etc, could totally see you doing that! 😂
Don't think 'negotiator' is an actual job title but you know what I mean 😂

and psychic is very good idea. Someone I knew ttc had got a fertility reading and hers was right. So once we’d been trying 7/8 months I got one done. Just as a laugh really and to see what it said.

And it told me April was an important month and spring. Can be conception or birth. Well I then found I was pregnant in the march with the pregnancy I lost... An I thought oh well she was just a month early. But obv that wasn’t meant to be.

Cos then I got pregnant again in July and have my April spring baby. So she was right all along really 🌸🐣 weird hey.

Ooh on the topic of psychics... I was sad as I'd just gone through a breakup so my mum suggested I go and see this lady as she'd helped my cousin through a similar situation. So I said ok.

The first thing she said to me was 'Who's "husbands name"?' I said that I didn't know anyone close with that name, just my hairdresser and she said 'No that's not it.' I asked if I'd get back together with my ex and she said 'No, sorry, but there is someone new coming very soon whether you like it or not.' I scoffed at that but two weeks later I met my husband 😮

She also said Australia would be important to me and our first flat together was on Adelaide Road. The last prediction was that I'd definitely have a daughter and I'm still waiting on that one 😂

I am a sucker for things like psychic readings, etc 😂 I had a reading some time ago when making a very important decision, just before TTC and while I didn't ask directly about TTC, she said that if we delay it, we would have struggles (we were planning to TTC literally super soon but the whole point of the reading was to do with that big decision re moving so if wasn't about family planning, I sometimes look back and think of that comment but not in a bad way).

I feel so dizzy and weak today, I felt alright yesterday so wasn't expecting this now that the bleeding has stopped. Very annoying.

Had literally no blood yesterday so I presumed AF finished we dtd last night and this morning I woke up to a big spout of blood 🙄fml it does only seem to be when I wipe but still I actually hate my body right now it feels so up and down. Doesnt help I'm grumpy AF today between my child and the dog I wonder if I'm ever going to get a full night sleep again 🤦🏼‍♀️
