Well here we are again, day 1 of new cycle. It’s been over a year now (I’d ducked out of these threads for ages). Finally going to start with some private investigations. But not for a few weeks.

Anyone got any fun ideas for this month?

Oh @Bookworm35 I'm sorry, I understand your frustration. It took 3 years of ttc (finally conceived just after my 28th birthday) to get ds and I was sent for bloods, they did no further tests as I then fell pregnant. However we are now on cycle #14 for dc2, I had bloods done in April due to abnormalities mentioned upthread, but all normal and satisfactory, however I've just recently changed Dr's, so if I don't get a positive this month I'm thinking of getting an appointment to discuss things and push for further investigation, ds starts school in September, I never wanted this big an age gap, although the longer it takes, the more attractive it looks in the sense of ds is brilliantly independent and helpful.

I'm now on cycle day 23 and 8DPO. Period due a week today.

@Bookworm35 So sorry to hear this. If it makes you feel any better I’ve just had 15cm and 5cm cysts removed and surgeons are amazing, so if yours stay stable I’ve got everything crossed you’ll be absolutely fine. I can only empathise about the long wait and you’re not alone.

Can I dip a toe in the water please? TTC no2 on cycle #1.
It took years for us to conceive our first child (unexplained infertility) so I’ve prepped myself to be in for the long haul. Part of me hopes having a baby has reset everything though and it’ll just be like BAM! Currently in my fertile window, I try not to track the actual cycle days though to protect my mental health as AF approaches.

I'm 2dpo so in the boring part of the tww, anyone else in the same position would be nice to have some testing buddies. I think I'll probably do a test next Friday 27th which will be 11dpo as I have quite a short cycle usually. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Maxime34 I think I'm 3/4dpo. But I don't test ovulation so that's a estimate by my symptoms. My app is telling me to test around the 30th as my cycles are long and irregular. But we shall see as I'm really bad at testing too early

Hi @Maxime34 I’m 4dpo and there is no way I could wait until next Wednesday, will probably do 9dpo as that is when my last pregnancy got picked up which will be Monday. I’m so bad at the waiting! Fingers crossed for us both x

I finally have a BFP at 15DPO. It still isn't that strong but maybe I ovulated later. Who knows!

@WineCap congrats!! Don't worry about the strength of the line so many things can affect it at this stage, just wait a couple of days and do another. 😬

@Maxime34 im 4dpo today so around the same time as you guys, I'm just going to wait til at is late as have had chemicals before. SUCH a long wait though I'm already going mad!

Oh lots of people around the same time, I’m also wanting to test next Friday 27th I’ll be somewhere around 11dpo too I think! So glad to have you all in this dreadful wait too!

Only thing is (sorry for tmi) I had a positive ovulation test Sunday, so my flo app assumed my ovulation was Monday so I have rolled with that. But today I have noticeable stomach cramps like light period pain and (so sorry for this) really thick white discharge (like white as in like cooked egg white)…. Does anyone know if this is the indication maybe ovulation happened today or is late? Just so confused as the LH surge was detected on Sunday. I’m CD17 today, my cycles only regulated maybe 2/3 months ago but I seem to be having 28 day cycles the last couple of months they’ve evened out. Help anyone with your personal opinions x

Hey testing buddy @MilkyAndFluffy what's your willpower like?? I get mild post ovulation pains like you're describing too. I think what happens is when you ovulate and release an egg a cyst is formed which goes away on its own but can cause a slight cramping feeling. I think it's normal and likelihood is you didn't miss the right time. If you believe the sperm meets egg method you're supposed to leave a day and dtd once more just to be safe so maybe try tonight if you've got the energy...I know I've definitely run out and am looking forward to a quiet night 😂

Heyyy my lovely @Maxime34, my willpower is absolutely AWFUL. I will be shocked if I make it until next Friday before trying to test even though I really want to! All the chemicals have worried me testing early but I know it won’t stop me! How is your willpower, I’m guessing same as me after your previous message haha! It’s so hard. The TWW is just awful, feel like I’m forever waiting for ovulation or to test/AF 😫I know we are all in the same boat but wow it doesn’t get any easier does it?

oh really good to know about the cyst / ovulation pain theory and makes me feel much better as I was getting worried we’d totally got the wrong time. Also it seems 3 days later is too long after my positive O test! Oh Christ the energy, take a well deserved break chick! 😂 I have everything crossed your efforts pay off and little egg sticks for you this month 🙌 yet again sharing wayyyy too much tmi… but I used the last scrap of energy I found to DTD tonight but unfortunately I think I’ve cleaned OH completely out and he couldn’t provide the goods at the end if you know what I mean 🙄 bless him! So we are just gonna have to hope what we’ve done is enough and hope you are right and it’s just the aftermath of O. Are you planning to test early next week?

Jumping on this thread as AF arrived Monday. Im 35 (nearly 36) have 1 DS. We are TTC#2 Cycle #4 CD3. I have 28-34day cycles. So predicted ovulation date being 4th Feb. Already feeling the drag and nowhere near the TWW wait yet.

@MilkyAndFluffy Omg same, I will likely be poas from 8dpo but only on cheapies which doesn't really count 😂 it's for science! Try not to stress too much I feel like it's impossible to time things perfectly, even temping isn't always 100% accurate but as long as you dtd around peak and before that's the main thing as sperm can live for 2-5 days or something so I'm sure there are plenty of those guys in the right place! Ah that sucks about your dtd attempt tonight, that's definitely happened to us before too, I think it's a mixture of overdoing it and the pressure I guess. Poor guys! The next week is going to drag big time but at least you can have a little bit of hope at this point... The testing bit gets me down so maybe I should hold off as long as possible...! Keep me posted on any symptoms you feel over the next few days xx
