Well here we are again, day 1 of new cycle. It’s been over a year now (I’d ducked out of these threads for ages). Finally going to start with some private investigations. But not for a few weeks.

Anyone got any fun ideas for this month?

Still waiting for af to arrive tomorrow, I'm feeling all the emotions this evening so expecting it to arrive by morning! I've just stomped downstairs to the sofa because DH keeps rolling onto my side and I'm just feeling very irrational about it all 😂.

That's me out this month! Already researching how to increase chances for next mont

I've had to have a few months off from TTC #3 due to having methotrexate for an ectopic but am just waiting for AF to show so that we can start trying again.

Due to have a Hycosy later this month which will hopefully help. My fertility consultant had recommended it before the ectopic anyway, so it seems even more pertinent now. Hoping all will be clear and we can try for our October baby 🤞🏻

Arghhh so af is officially one day late today, never ever late, usually comes like clockwork but got a bfn the last few days on cheapies so I know there's no chance of me actually being pregnant and not willing for the disappointment of seeing another blank test!

So AF arrived this evening. Would you count today as cd1 or tomorrow?

@Bluemilan if it's more than spotting I'd say today. Sorry name change to confuse everyone

Mine arrived 11.30 in the evening NYE 🤦‍♀️ I wondered the same and counted that as CD1, all half hour of it 🤭 arbitrary line but I guess it's got to be somewhere

AF arrived today on what will be cycle 9 for us TTC #1. I am 38 so time is very much against me, wishing everyone good luck and baby dust to everyone on this thread !
@Bluemilan only when you see actual blood flow should you count as your first day :)

Today is fertile day number 1, dh and I have totally failed our sex every day in january challenge and it looks like ds is putting paid to any chance tonight 🤦‍♀️
I agree with @NatGee day one is proper blood flow day.

Hi, can I join? We're currently ttc baby no.2, cycle 1. I'm 9 days into this cycle and based on opk's and bbt I think I'll ovulate around day 17 so starting to dtd every other day leading up to around then.

Hope you're all doing ok no matter where you are in your cycles. Anyone due to test soon? X

Hi Ladies, going to jump in too! I'm on cycle 1 TTC baby #1 after recovering from my MMC in November so feeling extra anxious! Currently 3DPO but aiming to wait until 12DPO to test

Hi ladies, joining too! Am on cycle 9 of trying. I conceived cycle 1 back in May but it was ectopic :( really struggling with some of the other threads too, and with the fact it happened so quickly first time and nothing since!

So sorry to hear others have had ectopics - @hipposinacircle i had my HSG last month so happy to give you more info if you would like!

So many people in that awkward TTC phase! Long enough that it’s become upsetting but not long enough for proper help! Very draining but hoping we all get there, baby dust to all x

Really interesting re spotting - since my miscarriage I’ve been spotting 1-2 days before my period. All bloods totally normal and scan totally normal! Really keen to hear if anyone is finding a cause for spotting (I’m conceived something is going in my womb which is causing the issue with pregnancy, but only a hunch!)

@Superstorefan123 My GP has given me a referral for an ultrasound and blood work up so will let you know how that goes :)

@Superstorefan123 I had bloods done over a three month period to check I was ovulating. These came back fine. They were done over three months as when it gets to 1 year of trying the GP can’t make any further referrals without the bloods as evidence.

I have had fairly regular cycles (for me) over the last few 2-3 years. Since I changed my contraceptive pill. This continued when I came off the pill. Before I could go months without or have short cycles. Not sure if I have always spotted before periods and I am noticing because I am more aware of my body while TTC. Or there is another issue. I have regular scans as I have previously had large cysts on my ovaries. They have never mentioned anything else when having the scans.

Bit about me ttc#2 for over a year now. Had one miscarriage at 7 weeks and 3 chemicals (lost between 4-5 weeks) in that time. Been referred and had an ultrasound and basic bloods done and been told it’s all fine. Still waiting on the results of my sticky blood test. Whilst I’m waiting we have decided to just keep trying and if we get a bfp ring and see if they can do anything then.
Hopefully this is a lucky thread for us all 💛

Hi everyone, this is our first month TTC baby number 3. We have dtd every day of my fertile window, on ovulation day which was Friday and yesterday too so hoping we have done enough for an October baby. Our other two children are both October babies too, so a 3rd October baby would be amazing. Might as well make October that bit more expensive 😂 good luck to all xx

Going to join in after lurking on this thread! TTC #1 and on our second cycle of ‘properly’ trying. I’m on CD 17 atm but not holding out much hope for this month because I had Covid last week and have no idea if/when I ovulated. Is anyone else using natural cycles? Got slightly disheartened last month because the app confirmed ovulation two days before I had a positive OPK and I just don’t know which date to trust. I might try just temperature tracking next month because I’m really struggling with the ovulation tests.

@Geordienewbie i feel the exact same as you but I’m using the flo app! The ovulation tests hit their peak a few days after the app tells me I should ovulate so I really don’t know which date to work with… so frustrating isn’t it. Sending you lots of baby dust for an October baby x

I’m actually still waiting to see if I’ve got a September baby on the way, AF due tomorrow 🫣
But could be on CD1 for October baby at some point this week. X

@MilkyAndFluffy its really frustrating! I haven’t managed to get a peak this month and had to rule out most of my temperatures last week so the app has no idea where I am. Think next month we’re just going to try DTD every other day from CD 10 to 20 to take out the stress of testing. Thanks so much, lots of luck and baby dust to you too! X
