Well here we are again, day 1 of new cycle. It’s been over a year now (I’d ducked out of these threads for ages). Finally going to start with some private investigations. But not for a few weeks.

Anyone got any fun ideas for this month?

I'm 13dpo now and line was really strong this morning, I should probably stop testing now for a few days...but I am pretty sure in the morning I won't be able to stop myself. 🙃

When would I be out of the woods for a chemical? Or is that a daft question

@Hankthehonk from what I've read previously anything up to around 6 weeks is considered a chemical as its the stage prior to anything being visible on an ultrasound so you have the hormone causing the chemical reaction of a positive test but no visible pregnancy. My previous pregnancy I told myself I'd stop testing after a few days positive tests but did everyday/every other day up until it went wrong. I already had suspicions something wasn't okay as there was little to no progression but definitely wasn't expecting the outcome I ended up with!

@JD90 Thanks, I'm only 4+2 so a long way to go yet. I'm so sorry you went through that.
POAS feels like the only thing we can do to have knowledge of how it's going at this stage so it's really hard to stop! Maybe I just need to accept I'll be doing it every day and that's OK

@Hankthehonk personally I find that daily testing helps with my anxiety and makes me feel more in control. Some people are happy to accept a single test and some aren't, you can only do what feels right for you! As long as you aren't going to bankrupt yourself buying boxes and boxes of expensive tests over the next 2 weeks 😉 I'm just doing everything I can to stay calm. Luckily I have a few days off and am back in work at the weekend then on annual leave next week. I also have an incredibly supportive boss so I already told her as I will be having to go for appointments sooner rather than later and if I'm not as on the ball as I should be she knows why and won't hound me about it. Thankfully she has already reassured me that I've got her full support for anything I need and to try and just take it easy and keep her updated as I want to, no pressure no pushing. I actually haven't told my partner yet because I wanted to be certain and the whole situation hit him really really hard previously.

15dpo today, CD31. Stopped spotting but that’s not unusual for me for it to start and stop before AF arrives. Just my body playing cruel tricks on me, at least if AF arrives we are on to the next cycle.

Hey guys! I’m new here but thought it would be nice to join the club, especially if some of us move on to the Nov Thread!

I am currently 10dpo, had a bfn yesterday (as expected!) but took a frer this morning and not sure if it’s an evap or a line. Anyway just jumping on to join the fun!

@JD90 that definitely looks like good line progression! I completely know what you mean regarding the daily testing helping to feel more in control. I found I was thinking about things way more before I tested, but now I have my little POAS routine every morning and then I can relax for the rest of the day! That being said, I'm getting a little nervous about a pain I'm getting in my left side, comes and goes but not severe and no bleeding. I have had a lot of bloating so it could also be trapped wind, but if it keeps happening today I'm wondering if I might need to contact GP tomorrow to get an appointment at the early pregnancy unit to check its not an ectopic.....

@Jealousofchiliheeler I will always be the first person to tell you if you have any concerns at all to get in contact with your gp. Even if it's nothing at least then you know and the not knowing is what kills you!

I’ve got myself in a bit of a muddle so posting here because it feels like the only thing I can do really 🙈

Did a test on Sun at 8dpo which was BFN (of course it was) and then started spotting on Monday so thought AF was on its way. Spotting has now stopped and no AF, I have mad heartburn every time I eat and sore boobs and am away for half term until Sunday afternoon with no tests with me.

I have had some degree of pre-period like bleeding every time I’ve been pregnant (3 miscarriages, one pregnancy that resulted in my 3yo), so that’s not out of the ordinary for me. Not sure whether to brave the CenterParcs supermarket for a test (I’m assuming they won’t have FRER if indeed they have anything) or wait until I get home… Gah!

Anyway realise there’s nothing anyone can do and all will become clear in time but just thought I’d share my predicament 🤣

@elarcoiris urgh that sounds a bit stressful. I doubt they would have any in the supermarket but you could check? Or maybe ask a member of staff in guest services if its possible to have an amazon delivery to there??

At least we’re actually quite busy with various activities and spending half of every day in the pool with our amphibious child, so time is going pretty quickly!

@JD90 no I know, I definitely will contact GP if it's still there today, but so far it hasn't happened. Honestly, I was a bit constipated yesterday and I really wonder if it was that. A+E is literally 10 minutes drive down the road so if it got bad I would go straight there and they can fast track me, but I'd rather avoid that hell if I possibly can! I'm also conscious that I'm only 4+1 so I doubt they would be able to see on a scan yet and I think that would cause me more stress.

Hey guys! So i had a vvvv faint almost evap line on a frer, could’ve easily been a negative. But then i got a Pregnant 1-2weeks on a CB digital. I’m only 10dpo, is that even possible with a CB digital? I don’t want to get my hopes up!

@DSP21 yes it is my lovely. I got my really faint frer at 10dpo yesterday. I have no symptoms currently apart from being emotional. AF due at the weekend

@DSP21 mate tell me about it. I've got so much stuff going on at work and very high stress levels, along with my underactive thyroid going mental for the last month and my hairs falling out.
I'm praying for a sticky bean with the drama I'm having. Along with buying a house soon as our offer was accepted yesterday, Valentine's Day BFP to remember eh!

Morning,
I'm currently in the tww and think AF is round the corner.
I've been temping and had a big drop below cover line yesterday followed by cramping on and off through the day. But this morning temp has gone right back up again. Not sure if it's just random or if it means anything. Did a easy@home pt and it's negative but will keep testing tomorrow depending on if AF shows up.

@elarcoiris is deffo try and get another test to see or if you wait I suppose you'd get a very strong line if you're pregnant. Good luck and enjoy you holiday!

11dpo today bfn on 10miu Internet cheapies. @JD90 looks like you had a bfn 11dpo but then a faint bfp on 12dpo and stronger ever since? Your story is giving me hope 😅 Congratulations and wishing you a healthy pregnancy.

@Lulou92 yup, first hint of a positive at 12dpo, but a proper I think I'm seeing things, then v faint at 12, slightly better at 13 and pretty similar at 14dpo. Lines are light, but no disputing that they are there and have colour to them. I figure as low as hcg starts out for the first week you're not likely to go from faint to dye stealer in a couple of days. Just being patient is hard though 🤣
