Well here we are again, day 1 of new cycle. It’s been over a year now (I’d ducked out of these threads for ages). Finally going to start with some private investigations. But not for a few weeks.

Anyone got any fun ideas for this month?

@Natty83 I wish I could say I didn't test... I totally did this morning, bfn at 11dpo, though I did look back a bit later and could have sworn there was something. Though obviously I know it's invalid and probably just an indent but I'll test again tomorrow and see.

@JD90 Why do we do this to ourselves! Fingers crossed for you whenever you test next.
DS didn't show up as a bfp until 2 days after AF was due so you'd think I'd have learned something from that.
I did move the baskets around in our bathroom drawer so the pots and sticks were all at the back instead of sat on the windowsill in easy reach... just led to me dancing around first thing this morning desperate to pee while I dug them out.

@Natty83 yeah I was so convinced I wasn't going to do it and then was like, well I have a box of like 20 tests so I may as well, not like I'm going out to buy them... 🤦🏻‍♀️

@JD90 rhis is my thinking. I’ll save the expensive one but pee on cheapies from 8dpo

I am 7dpo today. I've seen people testing from 8dpo but looks like mostly negative even when you go on to get that bfp (!) So I'm probably best off waiting a few more days to test at least... though I'm really trying to hold out for the day I expect AF next Sat 😅

I’m back. Sorry I have taken some time off threads. I think it really got to me last cycle, nearly at a year of TTC now.

I am 12dpo (although I could be wrong), CD28. I usually have 27-32 day cycles. I think I ovulated earlier this month so felt a bit more positive as I know my luteal phase tends to be short - giving implantation less time to occur.

I am tempted to test tomorrow… I haven’t had any spotting yet which I get 2-5 days before AF arrives. Friday I had a sharp stabbing pain in my right side. Yesterday morning I had a pulling pain in my lower left side. Could this be implantation cramps? Anyone experienced these? Has anyone had success on testing at 13dpo?

Tested again this morning and think I possibly had the most faint of faint lines (though still thinking it might be an indent even though it came up in a few minutes) it's not at all visible on a photo so shall wait and test again (I'd like to say Wednesday but we all know it will be tomorrow) 🤣

AF is due on Wednesday. I tested for first time today. Seems negative - although I understand what people mean by “line eyes” as you stare and stare trying to make a line out 😂. I’ve got one pregnancy test left. I’ll wait to see if AF comes.

Hey, hope it is okay to join. We are TTC #2. I am not 100% on the exact day I ovulated but I think I am around 7/8dpo at the moment. Did anyone get any symptoms around this time? Also when is the best time to test? With my 1st I tested on the day my period was due, had no symptoms before that but just had a 'feeling' I might be.
I have been feeling super tired, my boobs feel a little swollen and my anxiety is a little heightened and no obvious reasons why I would feel anxious.

@B93 have you tested today? Keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP for you.

I'm 8dpo today and I have had exactly the same. Last night 2 quick sharp stabbing pains and then this morning some pulling, but both on my left side.

I don't want to get my hopes up to just be disappointed, if it doesn't happen for me this cycle then what on earth could those pains/pulling sensation be about? I shall wait and test in a few days, hopefully it was implantation and in a few days will have enough hcg to show up on a test 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’m out! A few hours after negative pregnancy test AF started. At least it’s a few days early and not late. That would have been annoying. It would have been very lucky for month 1 of trying. Maybe for the best as was starting to think we should have put it off for a bit. We’ll start trying again in a few months.

@LuckyYou13 I ended up testing and a big fat negative 😔 I am going to hold out until the weekend now, that’s if AF doesn’t arrive before then.

I don’t usually ovulate until CD 18-20 so could be only 9dpo if I ovulated on CD20. But had symptoms to suggest I ovulated around CD16 🤪. I have started logging every single symptom this cycle - that way I if I get the same symptoms next cycle I knew it happened previously.

6dpo and I’ve had very dull feeling cramps all morning. Trying not to think anything of it!

@buckingmad it's always tough though because you're sat waiting and you notice things more. Every little twinge and pull and niggle. I wish there was a way to switch your brain off for 2 weeks every month 🤣

I'm just wondering when af will show as I'm sure if I was pregnant it would have detected by now

@2021lady this was me in September l, my cycle was 45 days total. I called the gp and they had blood and hormone tests done, as well as sending a sample away, typically I peed in the pop, dropped it off, got home and af arrived. A week later they called me back to say everything was normal and satisfactory. Literally just a freak long cycle and told me to carry on trying 🤦‍♀️ helpful.

Awake at 4am as usual... decided to test as I needed to pee. There is a line (easy to see with the naked eye, not so much on photo) more so that yesterday morning but thinking it could be an evap/indent 😕 opinions??

@JD90 I’m wide awake too. I can see the line. How many dpo?

@B93 13dpo. Ngl I'm petrified, had a ruptured ectopic start of Oct 22. Gonna get a frer on my way to work, I know I should wait until tomorrow to do it but my anxiety it HIGH. I know my gp wants to/ask epau to monitor my bloods from as soon as possible but the fear of going through it all again is something else. Despite knowing it's still quite unlikely. 😕

@JD90 I can easily see the line, looks positive to me! Definitely get a FRER.
I'm sorry about what you went through before, it's totally normal to feel anxious. I hope you see a good line on the Frer and you're able to feel a bit excited too

@Hankthehonk thanks, I think at this point I'm maybe trying to convince myself it's just an evap to avoid disappointment. You see so many people getting strong positives by 13dpo and my ectopic started out exactly the same at around 12/13 with such faint lines and not much progression so it's always in the back of my mind that if it is positive my levels are too low again and it's going to go badly. Don't you just love the way brains work... 🤦🏻‍♀️

@2021lady it's horrid isn't it. Just feels never ending. It seems like all through school and when you're really young everyone acts as if even touching another human without adequate protection is gonna get you pregnant but in reality it's just not!
