Well here we are again, day 1 of new cycle. It’s been over a year now (I’d ducked out of these threads for ages). Finally going to start with some private investigations. But not for a few weeks.

Anyone got any fun ideas for this month?

@Chanteuse 12dpo but I only have a 10 day luteal phase so AF should have come by now. When I had DD I had bfp at 8dpo

@TunnocksTCake well done you for going this far without testing! You totally may as well ride out till AF is due now! Wish I had your will power. Eeeek what sort of symptoms do you have?! So excited for you, I have everything crossed you get your BFP

@Sophie3839 oh thank you so much for that intel! So average implanting is 8-10 which means I totally could have just implanted today. There is still hope yet argh!

@Maxime34 defo gut wrenching, I’ve been so sad all day, but I have faith we both still aren’t out just yet. I totally know what you mean when using early detections you expect at least something, but as the girls above pointed out you could implant up to 10dpo and then the hCG needs to be detectable so I would say 11-12dpo is when we should class the results as more accurate. I know how hard it is to follow that cos I’m struggling to myself 😫 and it doesn’t make seeing those bfn’s any easier wow! I used a FRER, I’ll only ever use them tbh I just make sure I’m stocked up. So my cycles took a long time after the pill to sort themselves out but the last 3 cycles have been 28 day cycles so I think I’m fairly average/regular now, AF is due Monday 30th Jan so just gotta somehow ride out the weekend!
if your af is due at the weekend guessing you are a similar cycle length? Have everything crossed you get a faint something on your test in the morning 🙌

It’s such a long wait and so hard, really tricky to know when to test I’m only 7dpo so have to wait till Sunday at least and even that’s prob too early 😅

all I can say is the non early result tests detect at a much higher level like double so take longer to pick up the HCg. Some detect at 10mui/ml some 25mui/ml so a massive difference and it would be days apart for a positive test to show on both!

@Sophie3839 i feel you, the wait is awful! So Sunday you’ll be 10dpo so sometime then and onwards you can start testing… let us know how you get on lovely when it does come around 🤗praying for a BFP for you!!!! I have heard that about the other non early tests which is why I started using FRER and won’t use any others now haha!

Hey ladies - had a few days of strong positives but unfortunately they’ve faded to nothing and I’ve had a chemical :( so I’m out this month… hoping for a November double rainbow 🌈

@MilkyAndFluffy another bfn this morning which I'm so gutted about. I got a savage indent on the frer test too which I'll no doubt obsess over all day. It was the same last month too but I know from past positives that the line shouldn't need that much analysing to see it really. I'll probably test tomorrow and then just wait for af which I imagine will be Monday. I was really hoping this would be our month so the thought of having to start again is soul destroying but I'm sure I'll pick myself up in a few days. Let me know how you get on this morning X

@MilkyAndFluffy I have been having all sorts since about 9dpo, loads of cramping on 10dpo in one spot, boobs are achey / tingly, and a complete lack of my usual awful mood swings 😅 I was feeling really sick yesterday too but that seems to have gone so now I'm losing my conviction! I do remember from my first the symptoms come and go which is a bit of a head f*ck.
When are you going to test? Honestly I've read that whole thread I posted yest and there were so many with bfn at 10/11/12 dpi who gave up and tested way later and got a pos.

@Hummusanddipdip @BambiBooBoo I'm using Clue (the free version) but very open to recommendations if your apps are good, mine is mostly just a place to note my dates - the predictions update when I put in a +ve O test but without that they get it very wrong but because I have quite a short cycle (24 days usually) I don't know if any app will be quite right for me?
Like it's currently telling me today is a fertile day - but also telling me O day is next Friday, well I don't think that's quite right! At least not with DH being 40, they won't live 7 days 🤭

@TunnocksTCake your symptoms sound great! I know what you mean about symptoms coming and going though as I’ve had the same one min I’m convinced I’m pg then totally sure I’m not 😱

new symptoms are I’m exhausted but can’t sleep, starving all the time and now seem to have a runny nose /cold so could just be Ill hah

Oh one more weird symptom, I sneezed last night and had a sharp pain where I think I can feel implantation 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had this sharp pain on 6dpo- and it was take your breath away sharp. I then had lots of AF cramps last night, lower back pain, heaviness and felt rotten tbh like AF was coming. Feel fine this morning except for a stuffy nose 😵‍💫🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi ladies, ttc no 2, first time using opks...got a flashy smiley face on the clearblue tests Wednesday evening, dtd that night, then solid smiley face appeared yesterday (thursday)...how likely is it for conception to occur from this? Partner is away now so wont get a chance to try again this cycle 😞

@Janeykat sperm can last for days so totally possible

@Natty83 I use OVIA because it's free. It changes fertile time depending on your CM too. No harm in trying it

Was VERY oversensitive during sex last night and had to get partner to stop. Never happens before
Swear my 🐱 looks a bit darker too
And then had cramping pain after sex

My BFN really got to me this morning. I really thought it would be a positive

Has anyone used OPKs to predict pregnancy?
This top one is my peak.
The middle one is day 3/4 post ovulation
The bottom one is today.. Dare I possibly get my hopes up?!
Has anyone heard of this happen?

Aaaand my mood swings are back with a vengeance 😤😫 Assuming I'm out now. Bodies are trolls when ttc I swear!
