Well here we are again, day 1 of new cycle. It’s been over a year now (I’d ducked out of these threads for ages). Finally going to start with some private investigations. But not for a few weeks.

Anyone got any fun ideas for this month?

@Maxime34 hiya testing buddy! Had a mega busy end of the week with work & even busier weekend which has totally helped the TWW but this afternoon the obsession has sunk right back in! It feels like it’s been forever since ovulation day argh - only 6dpo today (almost 7 based on the time lmao)… HOW?! My patience is running thin already, had to talk myself out of testing today. Wanted to update you as this evening I’m having some light cramping pains in my tummy, nothing crazy at all just feels like light period pain. Seems strange as AF isn’t due until 30th Jan! How are you holding up? Have you manage to fight the urge to test? Are we the same DPO and have you got any symptoms? That bright white discharge I mentioned I got last week has happened every day since too until today so I had about 4 days of that, not sure what it was all about tbh!! Hoping we can keep each other sane this week while we ride out till test you, you got an idea when you will? I have absolutely everything crossed for us all 🙌xxx

@TunnocksTCake thank you lovely! I do think you are right we totally symptom spot during tww and sometimes I wonder if I’m just feeling stuff because I want to and am aware of some stuff I should feel or actually happening! 😂

how are you holding out? I didn’t think I did have a busy weekend but it ended up manic so it’s helped, but I think it’s this week I’ll struggle with. I was hoping to get as far as possible without testing, my AF due 30th Jan so we will see how long I hold out! Hopefully your toddler is keeping you busy enough so you aren’t too focused on what a longggggg wait the tww is 👏

Hi, hope it’s ok to join? I’m ttc my first. On cycle 12344 (well, it feels like it, but actually more like cycle 24). I’m just 1dpo and don’t know how I’m going to get through the 2ww. I usually use cheap opk’s but uses the clear blue smiley this month; had 3 days of flashing smiley before the static. DTD twice with flashing and 24 hours after static. Wishing everyone luck and congrats to those who have received their bfp.

Hey @MilkyAndFluffy I'm the same 6/7dpo and it's going sooo slowly. I keep telling myself I'm going to wait until Friday at the earliest but knowing myself it'll probably be wednesday out of boredom! I take extra progesterone because of past losses so I can't pay too much attention to symptoms as it really plays tricks on me and basically makes me feel like I'm pregnant every month! Lower cramping at this stage is positive though! When do you think you'll test?? X

Couldn’t sleep last night and felt so anxious that I had a false positive - took another frer this morning - 9dpo and think I’ve got pretty good line progression. I’m really surprised it’s shown up so clearly so early to be honest.

I took a test and got a BFN, but the pee was like water after I'd been drinking tea and water all morning. I still feel like I could be, when I'm getting hungry I'm feeling a bit sick. However, I am aware that all of this could be normal before AF. TWW is driving me insane.

@Teaplease29 Congrats!! thats a great line progression.
Im also 9DPO and had to stop myself testing, I feel so nauseous today.
Did you have any symptoms that made you test so early?

@SidSparrow how many dpo are you? I am also going crazy in this tww, its awful!

@TunnocksTCake Well I'm not 100% sure, I think I'm approx 10/11 DPO, but AF not due for a week. Who knows! I'm just worried it's my hormones playing tricks on me. I'm sure this time next week I'll know one way or another. I'm tempted to test again first thing tomorrow, but I really should wait - which I'm not very good at.

@TunnocksTCake not really - just impatience and a sore throat and sore ears when I swallow - heard it can be a symptom but could just be something I have picked up! Had much less symptom wise than last week when I wasn’t pregnant!

Can’t win though as I’m now worried my hcg is too high too early and it could be a bad sign. I’m so so happy to have a BFP and know I’m so lucky but really forgot all of the anxieties that come with pregnancy!

@SidSparrow ah I'm 9DPO so close to you! If you did FMU test tomorrow you might have a fairly decent chance of seeing a line, especially if youre 11DPO today. Good luck!

@Teaplease29 oh its a nightmare isnt it! Just constant anxiety no matter what! They are unusual symptoms 😂
I am REALLY trying to hold off until my period is due/ late to test which would be this weekend, but I cant see that happening. I am vaguely monitoring my BBT to see if it goes down over the next few days, I quite like the gentle warning that gives me that af is on her way rather than the harsh negative tests! Its going to be a looong week 🙄

I am officially out. 2 days early - not that I'm complaining, onwards and upwards, sooner the better.

I'm 32 and DH is 34 this is cycle#1 TTC #1. I'm on cycle day 16, with cycles ~30-32 days.

I feel like I have no one to speak to as DH want's to 'see how things go' and doesn't want me to get too obsessed 🤔. Clearly a man and doesn't respect the fact that there's such a small window 😝.

Tried to 'encourage' DTD this morning and it's like he knew what I was doing and refused to participate😤- not like DH to turn it down 😝

Would be great to have some support buddies!

Welcome @NewMrsC , I have had to bully my dh into it this time! He doesn’t normally complain but he says he’s knackered after I’ve been demanding we dtd every other day!

i was thinking of testing Friday too, but I’m right there with you, today feels like it’s been about 4 days when really I’m still on the same DPO arghhhh! So Wednesday may end up giving in!

oh soo sorry to hear about your previous losses (I must have missed that further up the thread) but I’m so glad they have given you something to try and help. Argh so frustrating the symptoms you get mirror pregnancy ones, I really feel for you! Any tips how to survive this week and hold out until Friday plz let me know😫I’m praying for us both x

@MilkyAndFluffy it really is but I'm sure it'll be Friday before we know it. I know I'll be so tempted on Wednesday but the disappointment gets stretched out the sooner you test when it's not your month... But still so tempting!! I might just do an ovulation test to keep me busy 🤣🤣

I've checked my flo app today and because af arrived 2 days earlier than expected, the app moved my fertile days, dh and I apparently totally missed ovulation.... but my ewcm was on the 3 days I initially expected to ovulate. So now I'm really confused, I've never temped or used opks, are they worth it?

@Maxime34 hahahaha the ovulation trick sounds good, why are we so obsessed with needing to pee on a stick please 😂roll
on Friday morning. I’m also going to act like a toddler and try not to have a drink after 7pm Thursday night so I can go all night without needing the loo and it’ll be a very strong concentrated FMU… dunno if that’s even thing but makes me feel better 😆

Personally I would trust the ewcm over the app! Loads of things could have brought you forward, the app will just be making assumptions. My app never hits the same day the opks do but usually it puts me as the day before or after. I find the opks quite addictive because I'm not very regular, O for me is anywhere between cd8 and cd12 but some months I just have to take a break, I can get quite obsessive with too much data. It is pretty easy though, I usually just use the cheapies, once a day until I see it start to rise then it's pee like crazy looking for the peak 🤭 x

I am 37 ttc we have a 3yr old DD and fell pregnant straight away but this time we have tried for 3mths with no BFP , really hoping it happens we would love another child .

Today’s opk. I’m thinking it may be positive tomorrow? 🤞🏻 or maybe even later today, don’t know if it’s worth testing again later.
