Anyone else on here in the same situation? Would be nice to chat to others who understand.

@Downtherabbithole83 very much thinking of you and hoping all is well. Sending positive hope your way.

@pebbles3004 I hope you are doing well and that when you and your husband do have the conversation it goes well and if he isn’t on the same page as you initially it doesn’t mean he never will be. I can’t imagine how much more difficult the genetic factor and odds must make it for you both and I hope you are being well supported. This group is lovely and makes me feel less alone, I hope you get the same out of it x

Downtherabbithole83 · 11/02/2023 13:54

Gutted… 😢

Went from such strong lines to this.

Oh @Downtherabbithole83 I am so very sorry. I don’t have any words that will bring you comfort but I hope you are being cared for and supported. I’m sorry that life can be so cruel. I wish you weren’t going the this x

Quokka7 · 11/02/2023 14:55

@Downtherabbithole83 I'm so sorry 💔 TTC is shit and so unfair at times. Thinking of you and sending hugs 💞 xxx

Downtherabbithole83 · 11/02/2023 15:05

Thanks all - this kind of loss is new to me so was very unexpected. I’ve been pregnant three other times and never had any issues holding onto one before… it’s a bit sad but I guess I’ve been lucky in the past. Plenty of others have been through this many times without any children to show for it so I’m trying to stay positive.

@Downtherabbithole83 I'm so sorry to see this. Your positivity is amazing and will get you through this. X

Cmp990 · 11/02/2023 17:13

Well I'm 99% percent sure I'm out this month. It was technically the first 'try' again after the TFMR on 9th Dec, so I'm trying not to get too upset but it's still hard. I think I'd built my hopes up too much which I probably shouldn't have done 😔 AF came back as normal after 6 weeks and was the usual flow and the usual 4 days.. Seemingly ovulated when I should have (as I got the solid smiley on the CB OPK).. Not really had many symptoms another than major cramping and sharp pains at 9dpo and cramps again from 12 dpo-today. I've tested since 9dpo to 13dpo (Friday) and BFN's 😔(last time I got my faint positive at 11dpo). today is 14dpo and my period is due today also.. Nothing yet but I guess its still my 'due day'. Am usually very regular but i wonder if maybe my body isnt as 'recovered' as maybe I thought it was?
Anyone had a first normalish period after TFRM and then gone irregular after that?
I'm clinging on to 'it's not over till AF arrives!' and that tiny hope that maybe it's really late implantation.. But I think I'm honestly just kidding myself 😔

whippeywhippet · 11/02/2023 18:38

@Cmp990 the irregular period situation is me at the moment too. It sounds very similar in that we had a TMFR on the 2nd December, I had one normal period in January and now waiting for my next one which is very off track compared to my app.

Cmp990 · 11/02/2023 19:37

Why is nothing simple when it comes to women's bodies? 😩 I naively assumed because my first period came back okay that all was back on track.. I have a feeling I might be wrong!

Lunamoon2022 · 11/02/2023 21:42

I agree, why can't it just be simple for us!
AF arrived today for me, a few days earlier than expected. Its my third one since tfmr and cycles keep getting shorter each month.. back to the clear blue opks and get the positive thoughts back!

EMcG3 · 12/02/2023 08:11

Is there something there? It seemed to me like there could be within the testing window as well. Left is today, right is yesterday.

@Downtherabbithole83 How are you doing? X

Downtherabbithole83 · 13/02/2023 16:17

Hi @HoneyPea - thanks for asking! I’m doing okay: AF arrived yesterday so I’m just pleased to get on with trying again… onwards and upwards!

Hugs to you @Downtherabbithole83

I'm coming to the end of AF now, I'm preparing myself for a good few months of trying... it's not easy to fit it in alongside work and dd.

NSx · 14/02/2023 09:39

Hi girls, I’ve been relatively quiet in here as I was struggling mentally with ttc after my TFMR.

but today a miracle happened and I got my BFP 🥹 …
this is cycle 8 for me and 9 months after my TFMR, so it can happen, don’t lose hope.
I was starting to believe it wasn’t going to ever happen for me .

now I’m just praying I don’t have the same issues as before 💔

hope ur all well 🤍

HoneyPea · 14/02/2023 09:58

@Downtherabbithole83 Here's to trying again. I think it's the only attitude you can have in these situations. Although I also know it's shit and hard so sending hugs.
@NSx Lovely news

NSx · 14/02/2023 10:25

@Downtherabbithole83I’m sorry that you’re going through this, but what I’ve found is that when this happens to someone, it seems to follow with a healthy pregnancy not long after, almost like your body is gearing up for it in a sense. So if you can take anything from this awful time, is that your body is trying and I’m confident you will get a sticky bean very soon! Sending virtual hugs & I’m sorry if my last post has upset you in any way, I am just in such total shock I didn’t think.
@HoneyPea thank you, I think I remember you from another thread. How are u doing?

HoneyPea · 14/02/2023 13:14

@NSx I do recognise your name. Feeling a bit stressed today, I'm 10wks and have my NIPT booked at the hospital for tomorrow. Just the idea of going for it is already bringing back memories.

NSx · 14/02/2023 13:24

@HoneyPea this is totally normal, I can imagine the fear you are going through, but hopefully things are different for you this time round 🤞🤞
did you have an early scan?

Downtherabbithole83 · 14/02/2023 16:26

Congratulations @NSx - that’s a lovely dark line. Sending ‘sticky’ thoughts your way!

@HoneyPea hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. I can’t even imagine how anxious you’re feeling but keep trying to remind yourself: different pregnancy, different baby. Hopefully you could be feeling a lot less anxious very soon!

Downtherabbithole83 · 14/02/2023 16:27

And @NSx no need to apologise on here. We’re all on here to help lift each other up and celebrate every step for all of us. Every pregnancy gives us hope. This one may not have been sticky for me but it still gives me hope that I can get pregnant!

NSx · 14/02/2023 19:57

@Downtherabbithole83 thank you, I guess I’m just feeling all the emotions at the minute because I can’t quite believe it’s happened finally I started to panic it wouldn’t & after my last experience it’s just hard to keep the faith, but here I am ❤️
100% it’s a positive thing for you, it will happen it’s just a matter of time, I hope you’re being kind to yourself 🤍

whippeywhippet · 14/02/2023 20:37

My second period since TFMR is now 6 days late so I thought I'd take a test. I would have been very surprised if it was positive as we have been using protection whilst I wait for the 5mg folic acid to build up. It was negative as I thought but wow what emotions! I realised how excited I will be when it is positive so that was lovely to realise, just need end of March to hurry up and my periods to be in some sort of sync 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Downtherabbithole83 it is 100% a good thing and although not what you wanted, is a wonderful sign that everything is working to conceive. I have everything crossed for you next month x

HoneyPea · 15/02/2023 20:15

@Downtherabbithole83 Thank you
@NSx Yes I had a scan at what I thought was 7weeks, turned out I was 8+1. Was very surprised to see a heartbeat. She managed to get blood from me today plus extra for booking (I can be very difficult to get blood from, midwife couldn't get enough at my booking appointment on Fri) so I was pleased with that. She said up to 2weeks before results, I have my 12wk scan in 2weeks so hoping it comes back just before then. Although she did say as we are doing it as early as possible there may not be enough of baby's dna in my blood so fingers crossed 🤞🏻
@whippeywhippet I guess that shows you that you might be ready for it all to happen again 😊

NSx · 15/02/2023 20:37

@HoneyPea I’m so glad it all went well for you, you’re literally just describing what’s in store for me, I’ll be having all the tests done due to my loss last year too!
are u feeling a bit less anxious now?
