@TheBirdintheCave that's good news you can have the surgery close to home on Friday and they can check for any issues. It seems absolutely ridiculous that they won't offer any help after 2, I guess you will now need to decide if you want to have further tests privately. I hope you're doing okay, today must have been hard 💕

@bunnykins123 I think the IVF clinic can run those blood tests for us too so we might just do that instead. We have to wait three weeks from Friday for our first appointment with them but that's not too long at least.

@TheBirdintheCave it's good news you haven't got long to wait. Incredibly frustrating with the rules of testing. However good that you have the option of going privately to get what will undoubtedly be quicker answers xxx

@bringmearainbow sorry just seen it on the other one. The TWW on my last one, first time round went so slow! Partly I think it's because you get out of the routine. Also don't worry if you test early, we've all been there! Even when you know it can't be positive yet...we pee away anyway! Do what you need to do to get through it. Are you temping? Xx

@MrsJGrealish That's ok, at least it will all be over on Friday and we can move out of this limbo. Hopefully by July when this baby was due I'll have had at least one round of IVF and will be pregnant again.

@FfayeN yes I'm still temping I haven't had a huge rise but it's still a rise and I don't get a huge one anyway. I'm so happy to have ovulated 😂 I suppose it can't hurt to just pee on the tests they are cheap for a reason 🙊 suppose I better check how many I actually have as I was using them to test down the hcg. Just thought I'd manage to be a bit stronger in waiting since I've waited this long but I am not. Probably like you say just got out of the routine of it 🤦🏼‍♀️

We should be able to start very soon. I have to wait three weeks after surgery before the first appointment as it involves a scan and I guess they want to avoid infection risk, which makes sense.

But after that first appointment on the 30th of Jan I think we can get going on the next cycle as I don't need any down regulation or anything (benefit of PCO is that I get to do short protocol IVF) :) It's all private so the waits don't seem to be too long and they seem very efficient (unlike the EPU who didn't even know why I was there yesterday) 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

So yes. Bloods, scan and semen analysis on the 30th of Jan then consultation and treatment plan on the 2nd of Feb.

@TheBirdintheCave glad you haven’t got to wait too long. And that you have a plan in place for after. Somehow it helps ground you I think with some sort of plan. I know I’m a planner and it makes me feel like I’m being productive even if stuff is out of your control.
I hope the IVF is answer for you and little rainbow comes along soon 😘

@bringmearainbow yes I’ve worked you out. Pee away if you need to. But again don’t try add pressure. It can feel a lot like bat if you’ve fallen quickly. And almost makes the disappointment worse somehow. But you never know. Hard to not think about it and chill tho. Prob all you thinking about 🙈

also ugh why is it January. Who hates January. What a rubbish month. But yay for kid back to school today for me 😂🥴

@TheBirdintheCave 😂 haha love it I think I can prob hold off until Saturday at least 🙊 at 7dpo. My boobs don't even hurt so I don't know why I'm even getting my knickers in a twist about it 😂🙊 wow that's really not long at all. I honestly think if you have the money to do it private is the way forward. I've had good experiences with the EPU apart from the last scan but I do think it can be a bit all over the show sometimes and waiting for scans etc has been long

@Indianna2006 yes I think that's what's made it worse because I've fallen quickly all three times I'm like what if it doesn't happen 🙄 which I know is silly I'm sure it will happen eventually. Lol I think I'm far far away from the chill stage as much as I want to be 😂 I'm managing to be chill in front of DH though because he would be like wtf 🙊 I just offload onto you poor ladies ❤️ I feel like January goes sooooo slowly but we have a weekend trip to look forward to at the end so I can't wait

@TheBirdintheCave that's my worry between the biopsy and the results of the biopsy. What if I need treatment and fall pregnant before they've prescribed it 🫣. Then loose that one aswell it would delay it all by another 4 months! Xx

Well girls I peed on an opk 😂 it made me feel better and there are still about 50 in the box so I didn't feel bad about completely wasting one 😂 i have 4 frers and 13 IC I might just wee on opks to get me through to at least 10dpo 😅
