I've been before but a long time ago and DH is super excited, we're not doing too much touristy stuff, got some ice hockey tickets and some good food places on the list! I'd have much rathered Norway but it wasn't right for this time of year!

@mummatara I was looking there..literally 2dpo today so a while to go. Odd cycle.. loads of CM like even yesterday and not the usual stabby ov pains, just a little progesterone tiredness.

@mummatara and zero cramping which is lovely but not normal. Maybe didn't ovulate but it is what it is 🤷‍♀️

@FfayeN Oh I loved Norway! ❤️ Bergen and Tromso are just beautiful. And the northern lights! 😍 Definitely go when you can. My friend and I went in January years ago now.

@TheBirdintheCave it's on the list to go when I turn 40, it'll be Feb in 2026 so plenty of time to plan 🥰. How are you this morning? Anymore CM?

@FfayeN have an awesome time! I think we might be cycle buddies temp dropped a little this morning. Not quite at coverline but on it's way to there. AF will probably arrive just as I go for the internal scan 🙄 nice

@MrsCristianoX weird cycles always confuse me 🙈 especially when you've been regular in what happens. But I suppose so many factors can affect it 🤦🏼‍♀️

@TheBirdintheCave could it be a good distraction for you?
I know how you feel, I needed a couple of days to think about being festive. I think all will still be well, brown CM could just be the little one nestling in and getting comfy, though I totally understand your worry.
You could always get the tree, and take 3 days to gradually decorate it, I took it slow, did bits where I felt I could and taking the pressure off doing it all at once really helped me mentally. 😘 xx

@TheBirdintheCave I think @FfayeN idea of picking a tree and then just doing it gradually ❤️ we're going to get ours today. About 2 weeks ago I was struggling so badly didn't want to do anything and I still feel like it sometimes but I feel a lot better. I know once it's up I'll feel glad I did it. Big hugs it's good that it's just brown

@FfayeN For me it's the fear that if we're told tomorrow that Seed hasn't grown then I'll have to go home and look at a Christmas tree and remember that I was supposed to be happy. I think we might go and get a wreath today instead as that will be on the front door so I won't be looking at it as much.

@TheBirdintheCave I agree with the others, baby steps. I really believe all will be absolutely fine so try not to focus on it too much. I know how hard that is though, so start with the wreath and then hopefully you'll feel more confident tomorrow doing a little bit more 💕

My ovusense is doing that really stupid thing again when I have ONE temp rise and it puts me in my ovulation window. Erm no i’m really not, you should know this by now 😂 but we are going to start DTD on the regular now, in case ovulation does come a bit earlier this cycle

@MrsCristianoX The tiniest colouring in my CM this morning but then nothing all day. I'm praying it's stopped now.

Not sure we'll be able to go to the scan tomorrow as it snowed quite heavily here this evening :/

@MrsCristianoX thank you it's been a mental day but my DS was ecstatic at the Christmas tree and decorating it so I'm happy I did do it in the end. It also made the day whizz by so I'll be off to bed in a minute then it will be scan time

@LuckyMoonstone honestly these apps are a nightmare mine decided once to change what it thought my ovulation day was to some random day that made no sense whatsoever it didn't tie in with the opks I had input or anything 🙄

@MrsCristianoX I think I’m CD16 today so I wouldn’t normally ovulate for another two weeks! But I am hoping my thyroxine might help bring it forward a bit this cycle. Yeah it’s a vaginal one, it is really good to be honest. It’s great to be able to confirm ovulation has happened. But OPKs are still needed to actually seen when O is coming. Definitely not in my O window now as my OPKs are all below 0.2 and I don’t have any ewcm yet. When my temp goes back down tomorrow, Ovusense will realise that it was a false alarm 😂

@mummatara haha I do think they are sometimes not as smart as they’re meant to be 😂 but mine eventually works itself out when my actual temp shift comes

@LuckyMoonstone well I hope it does bring it forward. I was 4 days late ovulating and it freaked me out. I'll look for discount codes and order tomorrow to cheer me up when I'm up to my eyeballs in penicillin scripts which we can't get. I really wish I could be snowed in 😂
