@mummatara It's 1.30pm. Snows still on the ground though nothing fresh. Husband is unsure what to do :/

@TheBirdintheCave you probably will find by 1.30 it'll have mostly thawed. I don't think it's forecast to snow more today? I would just play it by ear. Good luck today 💕

@bunnykins123 Thanks. Husband is going to test getting our son to his childminders to see how the car tyres respond to the snow. The roads in our development are ungritted 🙄

@TheBirdintheCave oh how annoying! Hopefully after a few hours it'll clear up a bit. Sod's law the snowfall happens on a day you need to be somewhere!

@bunnykins123 Yeah it sucks. He made it to the childminders but has come home rather than go to work and we'll see how it looks around lunch time.

I emailed them and explained and they've rescheduled it to tomorrow when hopefully the roads will be clearer.

We’ve just had a little flurry of snow here but it’s stopped. I know it can cause chaos and be really inconvenient for people but I do love it when it snows! Although I hate driving in it.

Well that was a monumental waste of time 🙄 so we've had a good amount of snow here but I have snow tyres and 4wheel drive so I just took my time. Car park was a no go so had to park my car in a residential section walk 10 mins and pray I didn't get a ticket. Got to appointment on time they were running late 🙄 get in there it's not a sonographer but a consultant doctor and I think they must just be short staffed as I've never had a doctor do my scans. she couldn't understand why I was there if I'm not in any pain or bleeding. She said let's do a PT if positive she will scan if negative I can go. So I go do a wee sample which is nice and diluted because I needed a full bladder but according to the doctor hcg doesn't get diluted in urine 😂 she leaves it about 30 seconds and it comes back negative obvs so doc says oh your period should return soon and kicks me out the door with no scan 😂

I got home did my own test and tbf the line is faint on a frer so I'm not shocked it was neg on a hospital test. So I go no answers but my frer is faint and my temp dropped below the cover line this morning so can prob safely say there's no new pregnancy

I'm just annoyed I drove an hour to the hospital to do a pregnancy test that they barely looked at and then an hour home 🤦🏼‍♀️

@mummatara that's shocking but unsurprising. Dr should've scanned anyway since you were there for a scan? Did they give u an idea of how long it would take for AF?

@MrsCristianoX yes in the time we faffed with a PT I could have whipped my drawers off and she had a look 🙄😂 but she clearly couldn't be arsed. Nope she was all very vague and said I'm sure it will show soon but can take a while. beyond useless but I am happy with my faint frer line

@mummatara urgh. That's so annoying! Did they use the NHS pregnancy tests? They basically ate like 50ml so sensitivity is not good. Same happened with me when I went in with positives, we're very dismissive as my tests were negative but I kept waving my FRERs being like 'but, but'. Your story sounds so similar to mine. I'm so sorry you're going through this, it's so crap after going through so much and then having lingering HCG!

@mummatara how annoying for you. Such a waste of time. But deffo agree that frer is pretty faint. And deff fainter than frer you posted the other day. So agree think it’s finally on its way out.

I got my af after a loss with a faint line like that on a frer as they’re so so sensitive. Come on AF. Just arrive. Then new cycle. No confusion and away you go for baby making.

The weather has been super cold here but not as bad as some of you guys. I’ve been so careful going out try not to slip as don’t want to aggravate my pelvis. But it started getting bad anyway a causing me jip..so think this is the beginning. But 21 weeks down..18 to go. We can do this Pelvis 🤞🏼

@Indianna2006 literally im wearing ugg boots, two jumpers a coat and I've set the temp at work to 28oC. The menopausal people aren't happy 🙈😂

@bunnykins123 it actually really helps knowing I'm not alone in my never ending hcg story makes it feel a little less crappy ❤️ yes it was a hospital test. I wish I had done one this morning to show them but I didn't think there was any point in wasting one and then I had to anyway 🙄

I remember having a faint line when I got AF last time then a complete negative a week later so I'm really hoping she makes a show in the next day or so 🤞🏼 please please please 🙏🏼 then it will probably be bloody O over Christmas/new year perfect time I'll be off and won't mind a late night 😂 oooh I remember the pelvic pain 😩 it's so not fun!

Hope everyone is doing OK, it's so lovely seeing everyone checking in on each other.

I'm having my CD3 bloods tomorrow at the request of my GP. She said that when I'm there I need to be clear it's for fertility investigations so I'm worried they won't understand / they'll do the wrong thing and then I'll be yet another month behind!

Also going to a Christmas thing tonight and it's a sit down meal, would usually have a glass of wine and if I don't I just know people are going to do the 'ooooh!' thing they do when they think you're pregnant. And I honestly don't think I can cope with that.

Plus I fancy a glass to be honest. But will that have a negative effect on my CD3 blood test tomorrow I wonder?

@monsteramunch have the wine. Honestly this process is bad enough without depriving yourself! As someone who's very much in the thick of planning ivf now, the recommendation is 3 units or less. Just don't get absolutely blotto then do the same until January 😂 good luck with cd3 tests, do you know what's being covered?

@mummatara I remember at the time feeling really alone as nobodies HCG took as long as mine to fall. I did find a few other people online but not many. NHS started making me feel like something was really wrong with me as they couldn't find a reason. I actually did take the tests with me as they didn't believe me!! It sucks but know you're not alone and it is normal (if not incredibly annoying!)

Thank you @bunnykins123 I feel like I needed someone to just give me permission! Have cut our booze completely while we've been trying and I know logically a glass here and there before I'm even pregnant won't make any difference but isn't it mad the level of overthinking and obsession TTC causes us?!

I've been sent for CD3 bloods and 7 days before next period bloods (apparently we need to be mystic Meg on top of everything else!) and my GP has said I need to make it clear to the person drawing the blood that it's for fertility investigations.

And my partner is having semen analysis this month too, at my GP's request.

Just want to know what we're working with now because every month the heartache gets harder doesn't it

@bunnykins123 honestly if I didn't have you lot I would be going crazy wondering why is it taking so long 🤦🏼‍♀️ tbf my last one took 6 week exactly to get a negative test but I was so sure that because my hcg was a million times lower it would be quicker 🤷🏼‍♀️ boy was I so wrong 🙈
