Finally realised that our previous thread was full 🤣 I hope no one minds me starting up a new one!

Can you believe it's been almost a year since this was all started up?!

Congratulations @BritishDesiGirl, when is your estimated due date? I can’t be far behind you!

@Dreamingof3 Ah so close! Are they braxton hicks though? I put mine down to BH but it was actually labour and when they checked I was 2cm 😅.

@Houseelf90 OMG how exciting!!! Bet you can't wait. Ah, I never felt pregnant up until I felt them move around 14 weeks which is super early but I've felt all my babies from around 14 weeks.

@DesertSnow We're good thank you. The babies have had their 12 weeks jabs. Hope you're well?

I get the same question everyday 'oh that must be hard work' no actually it's not! I'm really lucky they're such good babies and sleep from 8/9pm-4:30/5am.

I was walking back from the nursery run the other morning and decided to myself I might start trying again in June 2024 😅. I haven't told DP but he'll go with the flow 🤣. I have a 1 in 12 chance of having twins again so won't sell any of the twins double items 🤣.

@PinkButtercups I have no idea really...have a sweep on Wednesday so will see if there's been any progress then lol.
Twin life can't be too bad if you're considering doing it all again 😂😂

@PinkButtercups I’m really looking forward to seeing baby again to make sure there is actually still a baby in there 😂 there’s no reason to suspect there’s not but it just doesn’t feel real!! And then I’m looking forward to being able to tell people!
14 weeks!! Wow!! I’ll be amazed if I can feel baby that early! At this stage it just feels like this is going to go on forever when you can’t feel them and you have no bump!
Eeeek June 2024!! It’s great to have a bit of a plan though and that’s a really positive thing to hear, it can’t be that bad having a baby if you’re considering more after just having twins 🤣 I would say maybe it’s the lack of sleep talking but looks like the twins are very well behaved and letting you get plenty 🥰

@PinkButtercups I think you already thinking about trying again gives us all hope that the newborn stage won't be so bad! I'm good thanks, 20 weeks tomorrow and counting down to the anomaly scan now. Helps that I've started to feel a bit of movement now - can't believe you were feeling it so early! Guess there was less room in there!

@Houseelf90 I totally know what you mean about needing the reassurance there is actually a baby in there! My 12 week scan feels so long ago, and I was so worried they would say there was nothing in there and it was a phantom pregnancy or something (despite symptoms etc. telling me otherwise). Now getting scanxiety about the next one!

@DesertSnow have you got a date through for your next scan? Hopefully you’ve not got much longer to wait! I had an early scan at just over 7 weeks and saw baby’s heartbeat but I’m still not convinced there’s one in there 🤣🤣
I saw my mum today and she couldn’t believe I can still fit in my jeans, she said she was in mat clothes much sooner but I am her 3rd baby so I think she’s probably thinking about the later pregnancies rather than her first, her first was 37 years ago after all!

@HeathenPlayingHouse Yep, it's meant to be next week but DH is away, so it's the week after next. 11 days to go! Wish I could have a scan every week! My normal jeans are definitely a thing of the past at this point 😂Will you have a private gender scan do you think?

@DesertSnow ahh bless you, that’s not too bad of a wait though, soon be into single figures of days remaining! We have 5 days till our 12 week scan!
Haha a couple of weeks ago I thought the jeans were on the verge of not fitting, and I was using a hair bobble on the button to extend the waist, but I’ve lost some bloat now and they’re not too bad!
We are going to leave the gender as a surprise! I’m not sure if I’ll regret that decision in a few months time but that’s the plan 🤣 do you know what you’re having? (Sorry if I’ve missed that bit)

@Houseelf90 Ah I fully intended to do the bobble trick but I was straight into mat jeans 😂 Ooh 5 days for you, that's so exciting! Will be so lovely for you to see baby again. Do let us know how you get on. I always liked the idea of a surprise, but DH really wants to find out and I've given in - so hopefully we'll be finding out on the 21st. I have a strong feeling it's a boy!

CD17 and still haven’t had a peak this cycle, the latest I’ve ever ovulated was Cd17 so it’s confusing me a little! We’ve BD CD10,11,12,14,17 so far so trying to cover all cases just in case I just missed my peak but I’ve had nothing whatsoever :(

@DesertSnow haha to be honest as soon as I’ve had my scan and I can start telling more people I fully intend to wear mat jeans for the pure comfort, even if I don’t need them yet 🤣 I was just worried someone would see them at work and I’d be all flustered 🤣🤣 luckily me and DP are both on the same page with not wanting to find out, but if one of us caves it’ll definitely be me!! I’ve always wanted a boy but I’d be equally happy with a girl, the more I see friends with their little girls I think a mini me would be pretty cool (poor DP dealing with 2 of me!!). My DP already has a boy and a girl so he has no preference!

@Houseelf90 yeah I definitely started wearing the mat jeans for comfort - mostly due to bloat rather than bump at that point! I really don't mind if it's a boy or a girl, especially as it's our first. Just have had intense boy vibes throughout, plus DH's family is all men for a few generations. Think DH would slightly prefer a boy, but just hoping for healthy of course! Can't believe that this time in 2 weeks we might know! (If baby plays ball on the scan 😂)

@DesertSnow healthy is definitely most important! Eeek that’s exciting!! You’ll be able to look at/buy baby clothes without saying “if we have a boy/girl we can get this”….that’s the hardest part about not knowing I think!

@Houseelf90 this is exactly it! Also it will be nice to refer to the baby as something other than 'it'!

@DesertSnow yes that will be great! Long story but ours is nicknamed Cookie and tonight DP said he’s really worried it’ll stick when they’re born 🤣 I’ve been referring to baby as “him” and my dad who is very excited for another grandchild (my sisters kids are 22 and 24 now!) refers to baby as “her” so it’ll be interesting to see what they are!

I'm 9 DPO had a bit of brownish spotting this morning. AF not due for a few more days, so it's either a short cycle, which I can get or implantation. We've only DTD once!

@Houseelf90 Ah I bet! It's so nice to see them isn't it but always still so nerve wracking at the same time! Are you just going to tell people or do you have something planned?

@DesertSnow I remember being really nervous for the 20 week scan with the twins but not with my first DS didn't really understand it all then if I'm honest! How are you feeling?

Honestly my babies are the most well behaved babies. They let me sleep too which is unheard of in most babies 😅. The only thing I can say is I've always followed their cues and very much gone at their pace. Not sure if that helped or not.

I don't know yet. I'm having a 2nd 12 week scan as first was too early. I will post my date then.

@PinkButtercups family and a couple of close friends already know, I will call/message some others after Wednesday and then being cheesey I’m going to announce on social media on Mother’s Day 🙈

@BritishDesiGirl ahh ok! Mines looking like 28th September from my early scan but I know that’s likely to change when I have my 12 week scan.

CD10 today (actually CD11 in a few minutes) and I've been pretty strict at keeping to my routine- inositol, NAC, EPO and spearmint tea along with my normal meds.

It's so unromantic but we've basically been scheduling BDing- we're always so tired in the evening after DS goes to bed and we've eaten, so now we're taking advantage of my lunch break when I'm WFH 😂

I think I joined the 1st thread but been away im back now had my hen do wedding is in June I'm feeling ready to TTC again emotionally after a miscarriage in November
This will be baby number 2 DS is 12 the year.
I'm on CD12 I done ovulation test today its neg at the moment
Should I test more than once a day?
We are doing the deed everyday but blimey its hard going lol my fiance works nights so scheduling is necessary around his work my work and child lol
We are both taking pregnacare conception his and hers have been since January so hoping to get our BFP soon x

Finally got my peak this afternoon CD19! So far have BD CD14,17,19 and hoping for 20,21,22 as well! First cycle (of 7) using Pre-Seed and heard really good things so I’m really hoping for my BFP! Sounds weird but does anyone have any tips for BD around ovulation? I try to sit with my bum in the air for 30 minutes after but still tend to lose some of the fluid although I know the actual sperm is already on its way by then but any tips??

@Houseelf90 ha yes my mum keeps calling it 'she' but DH's dad calls it a 'he'. Can't believe it's only a matter of days now till we can find out.

@Hellsbells89 you only need one sperm so once could do the trick! Good luck!

@PinkButtercups getting nervous the closer I get to the scan. Just hoping everything is ok and I'll get some reassurance.

@HeathenPlayingHouse scheduling doesn't have to be unromantic, and definitely take advantage of your lunch breaks! Just make sure you brush your hair if you have any meetings after lunch 😂

@Mumof1hopingfor2nd I'm sorry about your miscarriage. I only did ovulation tests once a day, but found it difficult to find the peak so just DTD anyway.

@BethSuz27 wow 30 minutes is a lot, I definitely wouldn't have the patience. It's normal to lose some semen, but as you say the sperm are already up there. No tips really, but good luck!
