@bunnykins123 no hasn't stopped. actually progressed a bit more today so I think it's just a v v light one tbh. I thought my normal periods were light but this is a new level of light 😂

Mannymoomin · 23/12/2022 22:43

@bunnykins123 I’ve also had my reproductive system checked and hormones to see why I bleed so much, everything normal so I just live on iron tablets as I’m in a constant state of anemia, managed to get my red blood cells within low normal range but have never been able to increase ferritin storage. So iron supplements until I’m menopausal at least.
AF has always been long and heavy, it was a million times worse as a teenager so I’m not complaining, although period pants are my recent saviour, I hope to not need them next year!

MC certainly puts cycles out of whack though, my shortest cycle pre MC was 22days. So 17 days post MC was a personal best, nothing leaves you wondering more than good old hormones

@mummatara I think you’re right to track O early, cycles after MC are too different to what we’re used to which makes it even harder to know what’s going on!

bunnykins123 · 23/12/2022 22:49

@mummatara when you say light are we talkinggg a panty liners worth or not even that? I've defo had a few months where I wouldn't have needed to change my normal sanitary towel all day due to light flow (I obvs did otherwise that would be grim but you get me 😂)

@Mannymoomin I was looking into those knickers, are they worth while? Sanitary products are expensivvve! My flow is heavy ish on day 2 and then it drops off to not very much at all. My periods as a teenager were painful and heavy but seem to be better as I've got older. Weirdly, ovulation hurts now when I never used to feel it in the past!

Mannymoomin · 23/12/2022 23:01

@bunnykins123 absolutely worth the initial outlay for me, I’ve never had any leakage with them, yet I’d always leak through a super plus tampon.
They feel clean too and it doesn’t feel like your wearing anything different, big thumbs up from me

mummatara · 23/12/2022 23:11

@bunnykins123 so normally I'd get away with a pantry liner but this is not even worth putting one in it would be in the not change all day category 😂

Luna57 · 24/12/2022 06:54

@Everythingzrosie sorry thats the end of your ttc chapter. Mc are absolutely horrible and no one deserves for them to steal their happiness. Hope you’re ok.

@Moosey82 im so sorry you feel this way. I really hope its your turn soon and see your test pic up here soon. Ttc is just so hard.

@Shannonmcc that’s lovely progression. Really hoping for a full healthy pregnancy.

@mummatara that could be your af over with your lack of lining from the 2 surgeries so close together. Hoping this cycle you produce a lovely thick lining that pillows a lovely healthy wee bean.

I didn’t get a chance to test this morning I had to quickly pee as ds was shouting the house down to get up (he woke loaded with the cold Merry Christmas to me) and dh was out last night so didn’t want him to waken him. Yesterday and the night before and even this morning already I’ve had awful nausea. I’ve never had nausea or sickness with any of my pregnancies not even with ds. Surely this is far too early on for the sickness to start? No even 4 weeks 😭

Babydustmamma · 24/12/2022 06:59

@mummatara my AF turned like this post MC and it really stressed me out. Before I was quite heavy flow, 7 days. Post I was really light, and each month it got lighter t and longer. For the last three I had about 5 days of such light spotting it wasn’t even worth putting in a panty liner tbh, then two heavy days, then another five days of the really light spotting.

my doctors basically said as long as you are bleeding, and then showing signs of ovulation, it doesn’t matter too much about how heavy.

I completely thought my lining was shot away and I wasn’t producing enough progesterone in the luteal phases (which were about 8 days). I know it doesn’t necessarily help to hear the exception to the rule, but I thought I was completely out of the game because of it, so just sending a little bump of hope ♥️

Mannymoomin · 24/12/2022 07:17

Got up this morning and dipped OPK as usual, straight to static smiley, CD10. Luckily dtd last night but I was really hoping to get a few more days in.
Will keep testing with OPK though just in case

mummatara · 24/12/2022 08:06

@Luna57 thanks lovely let's hope so❤️ oooh that all sounds very promising 🤞🏼 my symptoms have been different for all my pregnancies! my DS is having a lay in this morning and there are zero complaints from me 🙊 will you test later or just wait for tomorrow now?

@Babydustmamma oh that's good to know thank you 😘 I think I was so surprised because after the first D&C my period was about normal but I really should know by now that nothing is normal when it comes to TTC and MC 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Mannymoomin ahhh that's annoying 🙈 any chance to get a couple in today?

Babydustmamma · 24/12/2022 08:11

@mummatara same! I think it came on day 35 and had a heavy, standard 6 dayer and then they all went wonky! 😅♥️

ChickenT2b · 24/12/2022 08:48

AF is here 🙄
Really cannot believe I am not pregnant again yet. When I miscarried in March, I had it in my head..’it will happen by the end of the year…by the end of the year..’ And here we are.

Hubby to be has his sperm test first week of Jan and I now have a private consultation booked following my US confirming 5cm ovarian cyst (possible endometrioma and endometriosis).

Fingers crossed 2023 brings answers and a plan at least 😢

Feeling very worried that it’s really never going to happen now 🙁

bunnykins123 · 24/12/2022 09:44

@ChickenT2b don't panic! I know how hard it is when every single month you ends in AF. I find I have a bit of a panic attack when AF comes and after a day or so, I manage to come out of it. You're doing the right thing getting in getting tested to see if anything can be fixed.

TheBirdintheCave · 24/12/2022 09:45

@ChickenT2b Sorry to hear that :( I really hope you get your rainbow in January x

Luna57 · 24/12/2022 10:23

@mummatara ill maybe test tonight before bed to see if the line is a bit more visible🤞🏼 as much as this nausea is a pain I’m hoping it’s a good sign. Amazing I wish my ds would lie in some days he’s up before 7 99% of the time 😭

Babydustmamma · 24/12/2022 11:53

@ChickenT2b so sorry gorgeous ♥️ bloody grim, am sending love x

HopefulP · 24/12/2022 14:31

Hi everyone,

I recently had a miscarriage on the 13th of December, all my mc symptoms and effects have stopped I'm no longer bleeding. Had nothing for two days.

Is it too soon to try again ?
Apparently on an app I'm using it does say ovulation high ?

Any advice help would be fab thank you
❤️ X

TheBirdintheCave · 24/12/2022 14:35

@HopefulP You're fine to try again if you feel ready for it :)

Rosegold3112 · 24/12/2022 15:08

Oh my goodness, so many bfps! Huge congrats to all and really hoping everything goes smoothly for you all ❤️

@Moosey82 i can totally relate. As Happy as I am to see all those bfps, I can't deny I also feel those pangs of envy. Someone on my Facebook announced their pregnancy this morning and I just wanted to cry.

I'm currently CD 31. I ovulated anywhere from CD 24 - 26 so I'm 5-7dpo. I got some thick creamy discharge today but I also know how easy it is to symptom spot everything. That said, all yous with bfp's, did you notice anything particularly different this time? 😅

I haven't had a period yet since my loss and I'm now due around my birthday (the 31st) to my return to work date (the 3rd) and I am dreading how that's going to affect me.

HopefulP · 24/12/2022 15:53

@TheBirdintheCave
Thank you! 🧡🤞🏻
X

Mannymoomin · 24/12/2022 18:36

No idea what’s going on with me, after solid smiley this am I checked a cheapie, no where near positive, checked on the other CB test holder, empty circle, not even flashing (and I always use 2 test holders to compare)
The positive CB this am had a huge dye run. I don’t usually give the sticks a second thought as I just look at the screen, but after having a google, I see lots of people saying the exact same thing, big dye runs at the same time as peak, followed by empty circle then a second peak. My LH is usually long, around 24 hours, so it’s strange that it was undetectable only a couple of hours later.
A first for me though with CB advanced digital.
Anyway, cm isn’t at its max EW consistency for me so I’m just going to keep testing and BD and see what happens.
this is where I wish I take temps 😂

Babydustmamma · 24/12/2022 19:17

@HopefulP so sorry for your loss lovely ♥️

@Rosegold3112 @Moosey82 so sorry ladies. Ttc after loss is such a cruel thing to go through. Obviously you feel positive for other people but the sting it leaves you with is very real and understandable ♥️ last month hit me so hard that I ended up ugly crying, bawling my eyes out and in a traffic jam. The people in front must’ve thought I was losing it 😂 which I was to be honest.

your feelings are valid and completely natural. Try and be as kind to yourself as you can be over the next few days ♥️ sending loads of love xxx

LuckyMoonstone · 24/12/2022 20:38

Im 4dpo and my boobs are killing me! Doesn’t mean anything though does it 😂

Rosegold3112 · 24/12/2022 20:40

@Babydustmamma thank you. Ttc is difficult enough at the best of times. Bless you though 😂 gave them something to talk about I bet.

This evening I've got quite strong period like cramps. Totally wouldn't be surprised if I came on overnight 😒 I got some very light pink discharge earlier too. I'm only 5-7dpo. Does miscarriage effect your luteal phase? Has anyone had any experience of this?

@Rosegold3112 mc deffo effected my luteal phase! Cut it right down

in terms of different symptoms: my CM was not existent/very sticky this month with BFP, whereas other months it’s been really heavy in the luteal phase and I slept really well x

LuckyMoonstone · 24/12/2022 21:37

@Rosegold3112 yep it has shortened mine unfortunately
