@mummatara good luck today lady! 💕

RainbowSearching · 02/11/2022 06:50

This mornings test below - so there’s definitely a faint line like last night but it seems too faint for a day or 2 before AF.

@RainbowSearching That line looks good, the strips are much less sensitive than the main branded ones. Can you go to the shop and buy a FRER?

RainbowSearching · 02/11/2022 07:11

@bunnykins123 I used the same strips after my later MMC to know when I was testing negative, and they were SO positive! And straight away 😟 I’m not going to buy any shop tests until Saturday as by then if it’s looking good, it should be a nice line straight away. Thank you for commenting 😊

Bubblesandballoons · 02/11/2022 07:13

@RainbowSearching fingers crossed todays test gives you your bfp
@mummatara hope today goes well and you aren’t waiting too long xx
@Babydustmamma hoping you managed to get some bloods sorted with the gp

ChloeN · 02/11/2022 07:35

@mummatara hope all goes okay today lovely ❤️

mummatara · 02/11/2022 08:18

Thanks ladies. I'm here had all my obs and I'm already hungry 😂

@RainbowSearching I think that line looks good for a IC I've never had good lines on them until much later than AF 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Bubblesandballoons · 02/11/2022 08:25

@RainbowSearching sorry missed your update. There’s definitely a line there. Maybe you ovulated later or implanted later this time.

RainbowSearching · 02/11/2022 08:30

@mummatara thank you for commenting. I hope everything goes as well as it can today ❤️

Open to everyone - if this result is the start
of something promising, what’s the COMPLETE list of vits etc and doses I should be taking? I can’t bare the thought of a 4th miscarriage in a row! 1 was spontaneous at just under 6 weeks, the others were MMC where growth stopped at about 6 weeks each time. A heartbeat was detected with the 1st MMC in an early reassurance scan.

I’m already on a prenatal (Asda own, I don’t think it’s full dose of all recommended items so happy to hear other options?), 75 aspirin (self prescribed), 200 Ubiquinol. I was also taking evening primrose up until ovulation. Should I stop taking anything I’m taking? Should I be taking anything extra? I don’t care about cost, I’m willing to try anything 🤞🏻

MrsCristianoX · 02/11/2022 08:30

@RainbowSearching I would be over the moon with that line 2 days before AF🤞❤️

TheBirdintheCave · 02/11/2022 08:55

@RainbowSearching If that's a 25miu strip then that's a great line for a day or so before AF :)

Hi 👋 I am currently trying to get pregnant again after miscarrying a few weeks ago. I don't seem to have any issues getting pregnant, it's staying pregnant. This is my 3rd miscarriage (miscarried in June and Oct this year also 1 a few years ago), I am blessed to have 1 wonderful child. The bleeding stopped last week. I am a bit confused though as I am still getting positive pregnancy tests but I have also been getting high/peak ovulation tests the last few days. So realistically I most likely won't fall pregnant this cycle will I?? Fingers crossed I am lucky, but I won't be surprised to see aunt flo. I'm also worried now that I should have listened to the Dr and waited to get my next period before trying again, just in case it affects the egg quality or something 😬I'm just sick of the constant set backs, I'm 40 and I just feel that time is not on my side. If I hadn't miscarried in June I would have been due in Feb. So I just feel like I don't want to 'waste' a cycle where I could potentially get pregnant.

Sorry for the rambling! Good luck to everyone trying to have their rainbow baby 🙂

RainbowSearching · 02/11/2022 09:28

@TheBirdintheCave according to Amazon they’re 10mlu however reviews on them
are very mixed in terms of actual sensitivity. I’ve ordered a pack of FRER which I’m hoping I can wait until Saturday to take 🤞🏻

mummatara · 02/11/2022 13:51

I'm out of surgery I presume all went well 🤞🏼🙈 hopefully won't be too long before I can go home

TheBirdintheCave · 02/11/2022 14:23

@mummatara Great to hear it's finally over for you!

lizziecat1 · 02/11/2022 14:45

@bananamuffin99 It took about 4-5 weeks post miscarriage before my pregnancy tests were negative. It takes a while for all the hcg to leave your system.
The opk tests pick up hcg so they are hard to interpret - you can't tell if they are reading hcg or lh.
I spoke to Clearblue and they said not to use their digital opk tests until third cycle after z miscarriage, as they won't make sense. (Obviously, I ignored them and used them anyway....)

I felt the same, and would have tried again straight away, except I didn't ovulate until after my first post-mc period.
Egg quality won't really be affected - your eggs already have whatever genetic makeup they are going to have. But I did worry that my uterine lining might not have had time to rebuild, so in hindsight I'm glad I didn't get a chance to try til next cycle. (2dpo today...)
Wishing you patience and baby dust!

calimc83 · 02/11/2022 15:30

@mummatara Hope u are ok lovely and not feeling too sore and can get home soon. Look after yourself xxx

mummatara · 02/11/2022 15:56

@calimc83 actually feel quite good but I presume that's all the nice painkillers they've given me 🙊 I'm sure I'll be feeling a bit more fragile when they wear off. I think that's the quickest I've been discharged from a hospital about 20 mins 😳 just on way home now be so glad to get back sit on sofa and have a hot choc and a cuddle with DS ❤️ though he probs won't want to cuddle me just hold my hand and say come play toys 😂

Bubblesandballoons · 02/11/2022 16:16

@mummatara glad you are on your way home and it all went well. Hope you get your cuddles

lovenaps · 02/11/2022 16:20

@mummatara When I had a mmc and my options were being discussed, I was told that if I went for surgical management, it could potentially increase chances of implantation the following month as they 'scratch' the endometrium and it releases certain cytokines. Just wanted to find some silver lining in this for you, if you can/want to try with your next fertile window, it might be good to know ❤x

ChloeN · 02/11/2022 16:23

@mummatara wow that was quick!! Glad to hear you’re feeling okay🥰❤️

bunnykins123 · 02/11/2022 16:23

@mummatara so glad that you're doing well and it was a success! Enjoy your hand hold with DS and hot chocolate. The worst is over now 💕

FfayeN · 02/11/2022 18:12

@mummatara glad you are safe and sound! Xxx
@RainbowSearching I THINK I am right in saying you should stop taking the ubiquinol soon after a positive test? I am sure I read it helps with implantation but then to stop, but please have a look as I may be remembering wrong! xx

RainbowSearching · 02/11/2022 19:22

@FfayeN thank you! Google seems inconclusive - shock! Some say stop, some say no harm continuing a low dose, some say continuing can help with improved lining 🤷🏻‍♀️

mummatara · 02/11/2022 19:23

@lovenaps thank you ❤️ yes we will try again as soon as poss. I fell with this one first time I ovulated after previous MMC so hopefully we get lucky quickly again 🤞🏼 hope you're doing ok?

@RainbowSearching I have heard people take it through first trimester and others stop at BFP. I don't think there's been enough research either way tbh. I plan to stop at next BFP and just take my prenatal
