@MrsCristianoX it really is, I am there with you. Really incredibly unhelpful to have all the hormones out of whack but there isn't much we can do about it!? unless there is a way to regulate!
I am already doing acupunctures and drinking Chinese medicine too. I hope our body has a way to manage a pregnancy later when it happens 🤞🤞! X

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 20:33

@Aprilsunnyday god I hope so 🙏 I wish you could see if vitamins worked at all. I feel like if you shook me I would rattle 😕

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 20:36

@Aprilsunnyday how are you tracking? I'm so so tempted to buy either an Ava or an ovusense but the price so close to Christmas scares me. So fed up with OPKs 😭

LuckyMoonstone · 27/10/2022 20:53

@FfayeN I’m ok-ish, I’ve had a bad few days feeling really depressed about a lot of things. But I’m feeling a bit better now. Thank you for checking in with me x my appointment with the nice doctor is next Thursday so I’m going to talk to her about how I’ve been feeling, as well as the thyroid thing

You really made me laugh 🤣🤣 great to have your sense of humour👍 😎!

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 21:10

@Aprilsunnyday some days this thread is my lifeline. I'm in the middle of a stand off with DH atm. Back at work tomorrow to keep me out of trouble (browsing our vitamin selection no doubt) 🤣 we keep each other sane in these crap times ❤️

Aprilsunnyday · 27/10/2022 21:11

@MrsCristianoX @Babydustmamma probably relevant to everyone and thought you might be interested :)
I've done a couple of times of bloods with Medichecks and they are pretty good. I used the female advanced hormone package, (it's not cheap at all but aren't everything expensive around ttc already 😅.) gives a good overview on all hormones levels (FSH, LH, Estradiol, thyroid, autoimmunity etc) and a doctor's comments. This way I was able to check if things were very off, or back to normal. I am a bit older and it helps to identify problems (perimenopause) and what not, just that I know what's going on.
I tend to forget about the tempting and feel like I don't know if a opk is a real opk sometimes... 😅 Thus wanted to look into Ava but maybe not going to since my arms always in duvet. 😳Mira maybe but not decided!
That's my two cents.

Aprilsunnyday · 27/10/2022 21:16

@bunnykins123 How do you feel? A whole lot better I hope. x

@FfayeN hope the early pregnancy is going well and you are calmly happy, how many weeks is it now? 😊

Babydustmamma · 27/10/2022 21:16

@Aprilsunnyday aahh that’s fab food for thought! I’d definitely be keen for that! Anything that gives a bit more info is great I think 😍👌 thank you!

ugh I know! As soon as it’s about fertility you can add on an extra zero or two!

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 21:18

@Aprilsunnyday thank you xx now I've heard bad reviews about Mira (that's the one that check's progesterone levels too?) A girl i was on another thread with said to avoid it, the sticks are expensive and the progesterone ones not accurate. But that's one person's review 🤷‍♀️ I can't ttc until December anyways

Babydustmamma · 27/10/2022 21:20

@FfayeN i definitely didn’t realise this was an option! It’s so hard to fight for what you need on the phone isn’t it. I have had a blood test to measure my progesterone, but they basically said unless it’s zero they’ll not do much 🫠 which I can understand but also… if my levels aren’t high enough to create an environment for implantation etc then that is an issue for me 😅😂 appreciate your advice, thank you!x

FfayeN · 27/10/2022 21:32

@Babydustmamma @Aprilsunnyday I did a private cheap one with Thriva so I could go to the Drs armed with some figures but there is no need too, if your cycles are out of sync or you're feeling fatigue or lethargy out of the norm they should do a whole blood profile. Some Drs may require a little exaggeration but it'll get you what you need 😊. Also really recommend getting the NHS app and having full access (you request this through the app) so you can see the results to make sure they're optimal and not just 'within range'.

@LuckyMoonstone it's good to hear from you and I'm glad you don't have much longer to wait for your appointment. Sorry you've been feeling so low, again this could be your levels, go in fighting to get what you need! Just remember we're all here for you if you ever need to chat xx

Gotcha, Thanks for info too x 😊 not buying Mira for now! making ttc products can be such lucrative business, selling to a group who are incredibly focused on achieving one common goal...!

FfayeN · 27/10/2022 21:46

@MrsCristianoX may be worth keeping an eye in the Black Friday sales for any trackers?!

@Aprilsunnyday sorry forgot to answer your question, be 6 weeks Saturday. Typically I've had every appointment through on dates I'm not at home, the 12 week one being when I'm in New York. I just keep saying to myself 'if I get that far' but I don't think that'll change any time soon. Just trying to forget I'm pregnant most of the time which seems to be helping 😬 xx

Hope you’re not feeling too bad @LuckyMoonstone 💕

Aprilsunnyday · 27/10/2022 21:53

@FfayeN I am really pleased to hear and being able to "forget" you are pregnant is useful skill 😁 I see you have to fly before becoming 12 weeks, that sounds like a nice break before getting busier 😎

MrsCristianoX · 27/10/2022 22:20

@FfayeN I want it NOW!! Yea that's actually a good idea xx

ChloeN · 27/10/2022 22:47

@MrsCristianoX lol you sound like me I wouldn’t be able to wait 🤣

bunnykins123 · 28/10/2022 12:18

I had an appointment with my fertility consultant today and asked about vitamins. He told me that ubiqunol is expensive and doesn't actually do a great deal of anything. He said unless your AFC is really low, it won't make much difference to egg health but to keep taking it if I was happy with it. He said pregnacare is a good multivit but ultimately the ones he recommends is folic acid, vitty d, omega 3 and vitty e. I hope that helps 💕

ChloeN · 28/10/2022 12:30

@bunnykins123 oh no not what I want to hear after I’ve just bought it 🤣🤣 so it definitely won’t do any harm to keep using it then?🤔

bunnykins123 · 28/10/2022 13:18

@ChloeN don't worry, I've spent ££££s on supplements too! He basically said that they won't do any harm but they won't increase egg quality to the extent that's promoted online. I have looked at a few ivf threads in the past and tbf, lots of women said they had similar results both with and without them. I'm of the thought that I will do whatever I can to improve egg quality but I think it's also reassuring to know that they are not a necessity!

bubble55 · 28/10/2022 13:24

I take vitamin b12, pregnacare, aspirin and an extra folic acid 🙈

calimc83 · 28/10/2022 13:34

@bunnykins123 Hope the appointment went well? Am I right in thinking u are thinking about ivf? X

ROZRAX · 28/10/2022 15:17

Hi ladies

I need your help and wisdom. I had a period last Friday and today should be CD8. However, I’ve had cramping past few days and CM so I thinking I was ovulating early (it’s happy CD18 no quitenatrnage). I’ve just done a OPK slight line but thought may as well stick a pregnancy test in the pot. There was a faint line. Just done a digital and it say “pregnant”. Surely I can’t be pregnant. I tested on 10DPO and got avvfl but as my period came on 14DPO I thought nothing more…. I temp and they’re lower that DPO temps.

ROZRAX · 28/10/2022 15:24

*it’s normally CD18 so quite strange - that should read
