Hi all,

I’m just starting my TWW and planning on testing around 29 October (unless period comes sooner which it did last month!)

Anyone else planning to test around Halloween?

I should be testing 29th too, periods due on the 28th so hoping it doesn’t show up! @ChipAndDip @Roxybabe how many dpo will you both be when you test? X

@Roxybabe @ChloeN yay welcome! I’ll be 12dpo on 29th. I might hold out until the 30th as I got my period at 12dpo last month so I’ll just see how it goes.

I used the CB advanced digital ovulation tests for the first time this month, so hoping they worked!

@ChloeN I recognise you from that super lucky thread last month, I think pretty much everyone else got a BFP! Hopefully we’ll have the luck this month 🍀

@ChipAndDip ah yes I thought I recognised your name!! I ended up having a chemical last month (I think, lines were always really faint!) so hoping this month I get one that sticks around🤞🏻🤞🏻

I like the clearblue sticks, makes me so excited to the static smiley 🤣🤣

Im due on the 1st but supposed to be going out on the 29th so going to do a FRER then and see if I can have a drink or two.

This is my first cycle and already I can see how hard the waiting is going to be!

@ChloeN I always say I don’t symptom spot, but in reality I really do 😂 Do you? I read somewhere that it’s only worth spotting symptoms after 10dpo because up until then all symptoms are the same regardless of if you’re pregnant or not. So I’ll try and chill until then!

How is everyone feeling about the TWW?

@ChipAndDip If I do it’s only been after about 8/9 dpo but that’s like implantation cramps/bleeding and to be fair both times I’ve tried I’ve gotten pregnant so the symptom spotting was right, not that it worked out for me😑 I think that helps though knowing that you’ve got 10 days to not think about it!

@ChloeN I’m 1/2 DPO today. 4th cycle for no 1. Hate the TWW and really don’t want to test until i’m late this time as I can’t stand another BFN, would rather see AF then just move on.

Testing bang on 31st. First cycle TTC number 2, and already fed up of all this DTD 🤣😬

Hello hello! Can I jump on too? Hoping to hold out on the testing until the 2nd. I'm also 1st cycle TTC no2. For various reasons haven't had as much sex as would be ideal, but keeping my fingers crossed anyway.

Hi! Can I join? AF is due on the 30th. This was my first month using clear blue ovulation tests so pretty sure we got timings right! I only had 1 day of flashing smiley, then the next day static, which I'm not sure if that's normal? Anyone else had similar?

@Daisy1992 I’m on cycle 5 too and first month using CB ovulation tests. My flashing smiley was for 4 days before getting a static, but I think both of ours are pretty normal. Seems like it can be very variable so nothing to worry about!

@Daisy1992 ive heard people go from solid circle to static within the day so I wouldn’t worry about only 1 day of flashing! X

@ChipAndDip Aw snap then! I know 5 months isn't long when trying, but it's starting to feel like forever to me, fingers crossed this will be the months for both of us!

👋 @CreatingLittlePudding welcome to the wait. How's everyone doing today? I am feeling quite tired this morning so have obviously decided that is a symptom and not because I stayed up too late reading my book last night!

4DPO today and the crazy thoughts are kicking in. Go from quite positive to then very negative and anxious thoughts. How is everybody else? Anyone testing soon?

Also woken up with either a UTI or cystitis from all the BD! 😩 not ideal! I saw a spec of blood this morning, got excited thinking it might be implantation…. Soon realised its far too early for implantation bleeding and its prob a UTI as I have an urge to pee constantly and it feels sore. Debating whether to try and ride it out at home with just lots of fluid and paracetamol or see a dr!

Oh no roxy that's annoying! Don't know what your doctor is like but I'd probably book an appointment and then try flushing it out during the inevitable wait.

👋 AF due for me on 28th and I'm 7dpo today. Been symptom spotting this week and driving myself mad but this is my first time and can't relax 😂 but if anything at least I'm more in touch with my body!

Main things this week is been really tired, falling asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, lots of twinging in lower abdomen and yesterday/today I've had a few waves of nausea.

I would love to be pregnant on our first try but I am trying to be realistic too.

Hello! Not much to report here, but then it's only 1dpo (hopefully...I'm not temping this time round). It'll probably take a few days for the crazy to kick in. Think it helps that I had no early 'symptoms' with DS. So I'm not expecting any for ttc no2.

@Roxybabe ah sorry to hear this. Drink plenty of fluids - I've heard cranberry juice is good. I've had one once, it's nasty 😣
