couple of questions…

what am i actually looking for when it comes to this temp thing🤣 I feel like i’m just taking it and it’s up and down every day so not sure i’m actually picking anything up from it.

also with the OPKS do you find sometimes if you’ve had too much liquid there just isn’t a reading?? Cos otherwise mine is climibing then dropping randomly then up again?!

@LMM91x hey! Are you temp testing as soon as you wake up/before moving/getting up? It's recommended you do it when you wake up. You can log your temps in the premom app and it makes it easier to see your chart to spot your peak ☺️

What OPKs are you using? The clearblue ones suggest using your first wee of the day. With the strip tests you may be testing more than once around the peak so they may differ in terms of your wee. I found that I only really needed to concentrate on the day before and day of ovulation results. All my low readings differed to one another - some slightly darker than others, but ultimately all low. Once I had the line equal to it darker than the test line I knew I was peaking in next 24-48 hours. I hope that helps x

re OPKs using stripe easy@home ones which say should test in afternoon - issue is by then my urine is pretty clear as I drink so much tea / water in the morning and am not a big holder in . Find it easier when I’m working at home, in the office its impossible and worried I’ll miss it. I’m cd8 today, no real sign of anything in the tests so gonna start DTD every other from this morning . I’m expected to ovulate cd11 but was cd19 a couple of cycles ago so unpredictable!!!

@LMM91x my temps were the same but when ovulation came it went up to 37.2, so I could definitely see the peak. The premom app because you can put your temps in and the OPKs and it gives you a reading which is helpful ☺️

I would also say to keep an eye on other symptoms around ovulation. For me CM is the biggest indicator. X

@LMM91x im the same, I drink so much! But I do one strip in the morning until I’m a day or 2 away from when I think they’ll start getting darker, then do an afternoon and evening one. Even with diluted wee around peak day they still show up loads darker than normal so I’d say you’d know! Xxx

Hello! Hope you don’t mind me joining. Currently TTC baby number 1, this is our 3rd cycle. Today is CD7 so have will start using OPK probably tomorrow. Usually ovulate around CD 12/13. Really really hoping this is our month!! Sending lots of baby dust to everyone, fingers crossed for lots of summer babies 🤞🏻

@ChloeN amazing thank you… I think I am so on it at the beginning then life gets in the way I miss a couple and then i’m like well that’s obviosuly when I bloody ovulated!! Trying to do more this month for sure… argh i really dont want to stress but it’s hard not to isn’t it!

@Seasidegirll heywe are on the same cycle ish! I’m cd8 fingers crossed this is our month…. !! we are 4th cycle tracking but probably been not not trying for around 6 months! …. God knows when i’ll ovulate.. i’m pretty sure I didn’t last month annoyingly or just missed the peak OPK due to plans….
had some news this morning that one of my friends who has been trying for around 8 months has her BFP (abour 8 weeks gone) and I love hearing those so very happy for her.. bittersweet but hope our babies will be close together if I can fall soon!

@LMM91x Hey! Ah so nice to have someone on a similar cycle! I find OPK’s hard because I can only test once a day due to work so although I do get a high/peak, it’s often not a very strong reading. I think I’m probably missing the real peak because I’m not testing enough. So hard to hear news from friends about their BFP’s!! Happy for them but like you said, bittersweet! A girl at work recently announced she was pregnant, it was a complete surprise for them!! I just don’t understand how people can fall pregnant by total accident and it takes other so long with tracking and regular trying!! Just doesn’t seem fair sometimes!

@Seasidegirll oh I know. Two close friends fell last year after having unprotected sex ONCE .. it’s absolutely crazy how it happens…. But it only takes one time for it all to align I guess !!

bittersweet indeed… but it will be our time soon! 💕. I recently bought a puppy to plug the gap a bit whilst we wait and would 100% recommend🤣

1dpo today and the worrying has kicked in… did we DTD enough! I really hope so. I don’t want to get my hopes up but feeling positive this month where as I really didn’t last month.

a friend said to me TTC is abit like rolling a dice and trying to roll a 6 but you only get one shot each month and that has stuck with me. Some people would roll a 6 on first try and others arent ad lucky but eventually they get a 6. Nice little analogy for you 😂 praying fot my 6 this month 🙏

Just rolled a 6 on my 5th try… it’ll be cycle 5 next month!! Maybe a sign… (although i’d rather this month tbf) but I’ll take it!! Positive vibes to you all!! Xx
