Hi all! Can I join? We’re going to start TTC baby 2 at the end of November.

We were lucky that conceiving DC1 happened really quickly but I feel like that’s just making me feel more pressured for it to be the same again, we haven’t even started trying yet and I’m already feeling the expectation I’m putting on myself 😅.

I sort of track ovulation in a period app but wondering if I should look into some other methods this time round too..

@Turtletortle well hopefully you’ll fall just as easy! But what I would say don’t trust the apps. I use 3 (excessive I know) and all 3 are wrong and that’s because I ovulate on different cycle days each month, some months its CD14 and other months its CD20 so I would use the cheapie OPKS off amazon. Or if you don’t fancy doing that just DTD a fee times a week and you should be grand!

@NSx feeling positive this cycle, but only 2dpo 😂 feel like we managed to DTD enough so 🤞🏼

@harriet669 I always feel positive for the first few days, then the reality sets in around now (7dpo) that it’s not happening & my mood changes 😭😭😭😭

Cycle 10 for me, yep it's not the easiest is it! What cycle is it for you?

This is my 4th - I lost a baby girl at the end of may at 17.5 weeks so it’s my 4th proper cycle since then trying … and it just isn’t happening.
do you temp or anything? I check my bbt but I think that may be giving me even more anxiety 😭

@Harriet669 Hope this isn’t too TMI to ask 😂 but how many times are you DTD?! I feel like we aren’t doing it enough but I can’t persuade my husband to do it anymore haha

@NSx so sorry to hear about the loss of your little girl. Can’t imagine how hard it must be TTC after a loss. Hope this is the cycle for you 🤞🏻

@ChloeN yea it’s actually had me in tears I’ve been very up and down the last few weeks, dreading it. She was due on 08/11 - I’ve taken it off work… when we’re u due? I’m sorry you’re going through this too 😭

@NSx its awful, it should be the most exciting time of your life not one you dread!😖 are you planning to do anything? Mines 2nd March, I’ve been finding it hard lately because I should be over halfway now and feeling movement, instead im just hoping to get pregnant again! I lost mine at 8 weeks though so can’t imagine how much harder it’s been for you xxx

@ChloeN honestly no, no plans, I will be commencing my fertile week of next cycle so will just be trying to get pregnant I suppose 🙄… exactly it was supposed to be a happy time, now I’m dreading it so much 🥺 …
a loss is a loss regardless of how early / far alone - life isn’t fair 💔

@NSx I'm so so sorry for your loss, must be such a rollercoaster 🤍 my fingers toes and everything else is crossed for you 🤞🏼
I was doing OPK's and temping but it was getting very stressful so haven't for a few curls and just relied on the symptoms I was getting during ovulation when I was doing it, find it less stressful but then I worry I'm not catching the right time! Pros and cons I guess!

@Seasidegirll never TMI with TTC 😂 managed 4 times this cycle over the days of suspected ovulation! Normally 3 times so hoping the 4th has done it 😂🤞🏼

@NSx Im hoping to be pregnant again by mine but will have the day off work regardless! I think it’d feel like I didn’t care about the baby almost if I went about my day as normal! It’s a hard one because I also don’t want to sit and cry all day xx

@Harriet669 we normally only manage 3 times as well so maybe 4 is the lucky number 😂 I’ll see if I can pull some strings over the next few days and hopefully we can DTD more 😂

9dpo today, super high soft cervix still and achey boobs, achey body, had some cramping low down that was sharpish for an hour or so this morning, really hoping this is my month!
I only have one test until Monday when I can afford more so trying not to take it until then! I’ll be 13dpo by then, I really need this 🤞🏻

I actually thought I had already ovulated. Something told me to do an ovulation test today (despite not doing it all month), and the CB came up with a flashing smiley. So more BD's to go - unlucky for my husband 🤣🤣 Boobs are sore and seen a CM change so O is definitely coming. Slightly relieved because last month I ovulated at day 11 so was worried it was too early x
