Those of you who track your cycles, do you find you get lots of EWCM when you are ovulating or do you ovulate once the EWCM has stopped?

I have had a lot of EWCM over the last three days but have not dtd 😬

@TulipVictory i find I get EWCM before ovulation for maybe 3 days then for a further 2 days after ☺️xx

Second option- mucus stops, then ovulation. I even have a bit of brown mucus and I was certain it was my ovulation day. I was wrong! Ovulation is approx.5 days after that.

Hi please can I join? Just waiting for AF to arrive. Annoyingly, after being super regular for ages, I was ill around ovulation this month so my cycle is looking to be 35 days rather than my usual 31! Sod’s law it goes haywire just as we’re ready to go!

This month will be first cycle TTC number 1. I have quite long cycles so due to ovulate right at the end of October which would give me an end of July baby!

I’ve been taking vitamins and trying to get my steps in, but looking forward to getting started!

Finally got my high (1.1) on my ovulation test, CD14, after days of it sitting around the same and then it seeming to go up and back down! Gonna test again this evening so I don’t miss it going any higher! But super happy ovulation is finally happening!
does anyone usually get any signs of ovulation?
hope everyone is doing well and I would love to know where abouts people are on their cycles!

@BethSuz27 my signs of ovulation are definitely EWCM and tonnes of it each time so can't miss it really. Some cycles I also get pain on one of those days which I can only think is ovulation itself

@TulipVictory i feel like I never notice EWCM but I find it difficult to differentiate between sticky and ewcm 😅 I did another test this evening and it’s 1.2 so definitley peak right now :) although clearblue isn’t picking up on it yet!

12 dpo today, no symptoms as such but I have endo and normally have really annoying cramps, pulling pains, stabbing pains etc a few days before af and by the time im 12 dpo just want af to hurry up so I can get some relief. No pains at all so im currently loving life 😂 I have a squinted of a line on an ic this morning but could just be in evap line, fingers crossed tho. I'm hoping my lack of symptoms is a sign. Either way I'm just glad not to be in pain for once, it's so weird

Hello can I join please! … i’m feeling a tad deflated, and for no real reason have been casually not not trying for a few months and then tracking for 2. AF came today … CD24 which is super early (normally 27-28) but its def AF as heavy. Then your mind goes crazy that I didn’t
ovulate maybe , i’m broken etc etc. god it really sends you mad doesn’t it!

anyway, onto the next month. Really going to focus on myself this month , happy host happy womb right?! 🤣

AF is due for me in the next couple of days but this morning I had LOADS of EWCM. From googling can be normal but it’s really thrown me. I just want AF here so I can get started!

@Mushroo I read that lots of EWCM later in your cycle can signal preganancy 🤞🤞

Jumping over to this thread from the June thread, finally! AF due tomorrow and I can very much tell, so I’m out of the running for this cycle. Anyone else only just at the start of a new cycle?

@TulipVictory i will test on Saturday but I’d be very surprised as we used protection! (My Mat leave pay wouldn’t apply until this month) Although, if I am I’ll take it and be poor(er).

I’m 0dpo today! Couldn’t dtd last night as Dp’s kids were staying but we had dtd the night before that and on Friday too so we’ve given it a bit of a shot! We can’t dtd tonight because the kids are still staying but could tomorrow- is there much point? I guess if actually ovulation is tomorrow then it would be a good idea- I’d had flashing smilies up until last night’s solid one.

I think I’ve decided if no joy this month then I’ll head to the doctor. I had my implant out in feb and while cycles were a bit all over the place —nonexistent— I’ve had a few months of ovulation and dtd at the right time, with no snifter of anything. At 36 and 56, time is not on our side 😔

I got my static smiley yesterday morning - so expecting ovulation today.
we managed to DTD last night and will again tonight and maybe tomorrow just to make sure …
im also 35 and this is my first 🤞 as we lost our girl in may … so I’m about 4 cycles in this time …
have you done any of the tests like blood work before ?

No I haven’t… I had a blood test done a few months back for migraine checking but I guess if they don’t need to look for other things then they don’t?

i was giving this a last try before involving doctors. My sister had hers done a few months ago and they were coming up a bit low for her age (just 40) but then she got pregnant on the first go so 🤷‍♀️
But to make things slightly more complicated I’m working away the week AF is due so that could be fun! 😬🤦‍♀️

Hello can I join? Just turned 39, trying for #2 had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in August, managed with a d and c early Sept. We are trying naturally this time, I have a daughter age 2 from ivf, ivf due to dh cancer treatment but hoping his sperm have recovered although we haven't had that checked. We tried dtd over ovulation time, I used the standard opks from amazon, but only managed the once day before ovulation, had a strong line on opk on Monday and also Tuesday but Tuesday didn't fully dtd if you know what I mean as dh felt the pressure to perform. Wondering what helps and what worked for some people. Looked at smep but too much for us I think/too much pressure and not enjoyable. Have also been through a lot lately, miscarriage, failed ivf and general exhaustion from a demanding toddler! Any help/advice/ttc buddies appreciated x

I had a distinct bit of spotting earlier, totally out of nowhere. It must be ovulation spotting. Does anyone know if this comes before/during or after the actual ovulation? Will it still be a good time to dtd tomorrow night or do I need to try and find a way tonight even with the kids (teens!) in the house 🤦‍♀️

@Wrenegade I did at 12dpo but it was a squinter. I hate ics I don't trust them so not holding out hope

Can I ask what supplements everyone is taking? I don't take anything at the moment but I'm interested to know what people have found and whether they find it beneficial? There's so much on the internet (a good deal of it is 💩) so thought I'd ask you ladies first.
