NSx · 19/11/2022 22:03

ChloeN · 19/11/2022 22:57

Oh no😔 mine was bfn yesterday, but I feel terrible saying this as I know how other peoples tests sometimes make you feel but I got a bfp this morning🥹 I had a few symptoms and my proov test went up so I just went for it xx

LMM91x · 19/11/2022 23:33

@ChloeN CONGRATULATIONS🥹❤️ Xxxxxx

FieldView · 19/11/2022 23:41

Congratulations @ChloeN !!!! How lovely!!

Did a test this morning and bfn at 9dpo. Early I know, but no symptoms to suggest I might be pregnant so I think I'm out this month.

Tophy124 · 20/11/2022 01:05

Congratulations! @ChloeN! and you’re not out till AF shows @FieldView. I know how hard it is waiting tho!

AF is here in full force and weirdly I’m always relieved when she does fully show as at least then I know for definite. I will never use a blue dye test again tho! I have a stomach scan mid December and so will wait to try again till January but I plan on using this next month to try and track my temps and ovulation.

Does anyone else track? Any tips?

ChloeN · 20/11/2022 06:44

@LMM91x thanks lovely☺️❤️

@FieldView thank you! Mine was bfn on frer and cheapie at 9dpo but I did have a few symptoms to be fair xx

@Tophy124 thank you🥹 I’ve never tracked bbt but I think I liked the clear blue smiley tests the most, I found it reassuring to get the flashing one while waiting xxx

Saturnsmoon · 20/11/2022 07:07

Congratulations @ChloeN lovely news!

@Tophy124 - would agree with @ChloeN I’ve tried various ovulation tests and found the clear blue digital the most straightforward and reassuring to use. They are more expensive but I think worth it.

LMM91x · 20/11/2022 07:55

@ChloeN would you mind sharing your symptoms?! That’s amazing and really happy for you! I’m 2DPO today and had a temp rise so i’m hoping that means ovulaaaationn🎉 at least one less thing to worry about if Inknow that’s happening eh!!

wishing you all the best💕

ChloeN · 20/11/2022 08:10

@LMM91x yeah of course☺️ I had some cramps at 6/7dpo, my boobs were sore again for the first time since mmc and I had more creamy cm than normal. I also had a higher LH test than normal at 7dpo which I read could be an implantation rise! I’ve had all those symptoms before and not been pregnant also so it’s hard to tell! Xx

buttercupbee · 20/11/2022 08:46

@ChloeN congratulations!! Lovely news 💕

NSx · 20/11/2022 09:08

Congrats babe 💖 so happy for you! So you’re 11 dpo just like me? And got a BFN yesterday ?
I don’t know if I’ll test again tbh I might just wait it out til AF 🤍 x x @ChloeN what type of test did u use

OP posts:
ChloeN · 20/11/2022 09:14

@buttercupbee thank you!💕

@NSx thank you🥹 yep 11dpo today, I got my first positive yesterday morning but I didn’t want to post right away, don’t want to trigger anything for anyone else as I feel that way sometimes with bfps. I got a negative the day before on frer xx

I used the easy@home first, then a couple of clearblue and digitals because I didn’t believe it

NSx · 20/11/2022 09:45

@ChloeN thats great, I’m happy for you 💖you got your BFP ✨✨ well deserved.
I think I’m out as I got a BFN yesterday and then decided to test on frer this morning after your post, that too was BFN so I guess that’s it for me, cycle 6 here I come - honestly starting to believe there is something wrong with me.
I might take some time out from these boards as I feel like I’m going round in circles in here x

@NSx sending lots of love 💕

I feel like we are taught all this so wrong which sets us up with high expectations. When we are teenagers we think one time of unprotected sex will certainly end in pregnancy when in reality the chance is actually miniscule and here we are doing everything ‘right’ with no clear signs of issue and not happening. If it doesn’t happen this month for me I’ll take a break too next month I think and just enjoy Christmas xxxx

NSx · 20/11/2022 10:24

@LMM91x thank you 💕
I think you’re totally right - we have false expectations and then when it doesn’t happen fast we start to doubt our bodies —
I know realistically 5 months isn’t really long, but the first time I tell 3rd cycle - granted the pregnancy didn’t work out, but it was effortless —
now I’m starting to panic & my mind is going to strange places.
Christmas is next month so I’m going to try and enjoy that & see how it goes. Xx

@NSx thanks lovely, hopefully you’ll get some answers from either the drs or private testing if not. I’m really crossing my fingers it happens for you soon ❤️

@ChloeN congrats!

Roxybabe · 20/11/2022 11:40

@NSx hun I know how you feel, i’m cycle 5 too, it feels like everyone comes onto these threads, gets their BFPs and then goes and then you are just stuck here waiting and it seems unfair (no shade to anyone with a BFP- I’m always delighted for everyone)and you can’t help feel like theirs something wrong BUT then I like to remind myself of the stats, 50% fall within 6 months, 80-90% within a year! Its like rolling a dice and waiting for a 6 with a 20% chance each month (although statistically speaking there is less chance of rolling a 6 (16.7% each time) BUT you’d still probably get a 6 of you had 12 goes!! I know its hard but the odds are against you!! Sometimes I feel like a need a break from MN and some times away from TTCing! I hope you are ok!! Big hugs ❤️

NSx · 20/11/2022 13:09

@Roxybabe thanks so much 💖 your words really help. I know some people are here on months 12 and even more so I don’t want to upset anyone, but honestly I feel like I could cry ….
I started ttc December 2021 - fell in feb, lost in may and I feel like I’m back to square one, with nothing to show for it…
and then like u say, it feels like people come here get their BFP and leave, but I’m still here - feeling hopeless …
nobody warns you or prepares you for this. I guess because I turned 35 in July I feel like time is running out.
once again thanks for your kind words, I think I’m just having a bit of a moment, knowing its another failed month 😭

OP posts:
Annapolis35 · 20/11/2022 13:55

Hi I hope you don’t mind me intruding here. @NSx I have a very similar situation to yours, started trying to Jan this year, fell in feb and lost in April and been trying since about July again with no luck. Also just turned 35 in June so worried about that as well! Sending you my thoughts, my AF arrived about five days early last week so back on for another month. Think we are just gonna dtd every other day this month until about day 22

NSx · 20/11/2022 14:18

@Annapolis35 I’m so sorry that you find yourself in the same situation as I am … it’s really stressful.
I think I’m going to do the same - DTD every other day from around 10-20 and see how I go.
there’s no point of tracking things as it simply isn’t working and maybe adding extra pressure.
are u taking any supplements ?
have u spoken to your GP? X

OP posts:
Annapolis35 · 20/11/2022 14:45

@NSx it really does suck trying but I am positive it will happen for us both, just taking a bit longer than would like. yes it does add pressure! I’m only taking folic acid and vitamin d, did take a lot more but just stopped as couldn’t be bothered and not sure what difference they made! How about you? I went through a phase of reading about them and thinking they were a silver bullet and then had no success.

I have been to the gp and they said it could take a year, but they will refer us in January as it will have been a year then, so this month have to get a progesterone test and husband a sperm analysis ready for that. I will have to track just so I know when to go for the test as my cycles vary by a few days but we are still gonna just dtd every other day, just to see if that makes a difference. Have you been to the gp?
