@FieldView Im not too worried I’m 9dpo and I didn’t implant till then last time I was pregnant so there’s still time!

@NSx I haven’t either but think they were included in that testing I was looking at!

@LMM91x yes I would tomorrow as 1dpo☺️❤️

@Tophy124 feel like your in the worst time, knowing your out and having to wait for AF to show up, sending you lots of love! Xxx

NSx · 18/11/2022 14:43

@Tophy124 welcome back 💕 and yep still here 🤣🤣🤣🤣 … I work in a doctors surgery and one of our patients had negative tests at 6days after AF was due …. Then eventually got a positive. 😊😂

anything is possible 😅

OP posts:
FieldView · 18/11/2022 14:48

@LMM91x that's how I calculate dpo. Might be wrong, but I'm seems sensible!

@NSx last year's was on the NHS, and then next months is private, and will probably be back to the NHS for one in the new year as I'm waiting for a referral. I think they check everything you've listed on the nhs. I was referred last year because my gp thought I might have pcos (I don't) so I think they were focussed on what the ovaries were like, but was all fine. If anything, it was just nice for peace of mind and confirmation that nothing weird was going on in there 😂

Welcome back @Tophy124. The end of the cycle and beginning of the next is the worst few days. Have you got any nice plans for the weekend?

@ChloeN definitely still time then! Any symptoms?

ChloeN · 18/11/2022 14:53

@FieldView nothing much really, I had a few cramps but that was days ago so probably unrelated, I’m going to do another proov pdg test in the morning to see if I poss ovulated later than I thought!

NSx · 18/11/2022 15:21

@FieldView do u mind me asking how much it cost ? the cheapest I could find was £100.
I don’t know if the NHS will do anything for me yet.
ive been ttc since December 2021 but cos I fell pregnant feb I don’t know if they will refer me or do anything until 12 months from when I delivered in May?

OP posts:
buttercupbee · 18/11/2022 15:39

@Seasidegirll @BethSuz27 I’m 1DPO too! Although not very hopeful this month as I had a UTI around ovulation and had to take antibiotics. The doctor said they shouldn’t affect fertility but I just have a bad feeling 🤦🏼‍♀️

LMM91x · 18/11/2022 16:44

@buttercupbee @BethSuz27 @Seasidegirll i’m just behind you lot as ovulated today so almost cycle gang!!!💕

we DTD CD10,12,14 (which is today)… not as much as I’d hoped and might go again later if he’s up for it 🤣. Tried last night but it just wouldn’t work (if you get my drift….) think he saw the smiely face on the CB and freaked him that it had to be THERE AND THEN. Anyway only takes one right !!!! Used pre seed this month so see how we go 🤞.

i had 25 day cycle last month, hoping it might be a little longer to allow longer than 10 day LP…. Xxxx

Roxybabe · 18/11/2022 17:44

3DPO over here so in the same boat as a few of you!! Hubby was away when I got my peak OPK but we managed to DTD the day before, so there is a chance but i’m not hopeful!!

Tophy124 · 18/11/2022 17:55

Can I get some line eyes please? AF is due Monday and it’s Friday morning where I live for context.

FRER was negative and easy at home was negative. Is this cheap pharmacy one tricking me with an evap line? I’ve ‘felt’ pregnant this month but I’m sure I do this every month when really I just have strong PMS symptoms. Have attached the evil test that’s making me question myself below. It’s like nothing is there and I’m imagining it?! Aaah. I know blue ones are less reliable

I’m having back pain and pain in my side this month pre AF which I guess is somewhat typical but I can’t help reading into everything! Probably just the fact I had a coffee on an empty stomach! I hate all this symptom spotting yikes!! Sending love to you all ❤️

ive been ttc since December 2021 but cos I fell pregnant feb I don’t know if they will refer me or do anything until 12 months from when I delivered in May?

So we're paying £400 privately for a scan for me, another seven analysis for DH and an amh test for me to check my ovarian reserve (I'm 35). I got my last positive test a year ago tomorrow which ended in mc just before Xmas 2021, and the gp put me forward for more tests last month with a view to referring us to the fertility clinic, but it's taking a while to get through the second round of tests before they put the referral though. It wasn't a full year between pregnancy/mc and getting further testing from the go, but I did lay it on pretty thick and panic about my age about the appointment! Not sure if that helps, but I'd definitely give them a call if I were you.

FieldView · 18/11/2022 18:15

*semen analysis (not "seven")

FieldView · 18/11/2022 18:16

Oh god, and "gp", not "go"! Sorry, so many typos 🤦🏻‍♀️

FieldView · 18/11/2022 18:18

Hard to know @Tophy124, but looks like it could be! Did the line come up within the specified time?

Tophy124 · 18/11/2022 18:19

@FieldView It did! It’s a CVS early detection one and the internet is filled with false positive reports unfortunately. I was thrilled until I read those and saw that my FRER was stark white at 11 DPO

NSx · 18/11/2022 18:51

@Tophy124 we don’t have CVS in the UK but I’ve been to the US loads and I know what that is, however I don’t know how credible they are sorry — got my fingers crossed for you 🤞✨✨✨✨

@FieldView im also 35 so she is bothering me a bit, if I wait til June I’ll be right around the corner for my 36th bday and I’ll have been TTC for a year and a half.

I might phone my gp up next week and see if I can get to speak to a GP and see where I stand. because I think this nonsense of waiting 12 months at age 35 is a load of rubbish, could technically wait and find out something is wrong, and I know I got pregnant before but it’s obvs not working now so I can’t just sit on my hands waiting ‘what if’ u know? X

OP posts:
Tophy124 · 18/11/2022 19:11

@NSx I thought it was 6 months if 35 plus?
I have full empathy for you as I had a gyn appt last week with an old man who clearly knew nothing about endometriosis! He went as far as to say surgery isn’t used to treat symptoms or to aid in fertility which I know to be untrue as I had it in the UK and it helped with both. I can’t stand drs that don’t listen!

Roxybabe · 18/11/2022 19:15

@Tophy124 I mean there is def a line!! If thats an indent then its a very nasty one!! No All you can do is retest!! Good luck! Fingers crossed

NSx · 18/11/2022 19:15

@Tophy124 no I think they made it 36 now for 6 months and anything under 12 months … I’m going to call my Dr and find out what they say anyways cos honestly I’ll have to go private I can’t waste another 6-8 months of my life waiting!

will u take another test ?

OP posts:
Tophy124 · 18/11/2022 20:08

@Roxybabe a very nasty one for an indent!! I’m still cramping but will try and see if AF shows by Tuesday.

@NSx That boils my blood. I guess it’s another money saving measure but seems very unfair. Your dr should at the least be doing an ovulation test and a sperm analysis so you can go to a fertility Dr with some info (sorry if you said you’d had these already I’ve been off the thread for a little while)

NSx · 18/11/2022 20:10

@Tophy124 i did do some bloods, they were all normal but my partner hasn’t done a sperm analysis — would love to get one of those but not sure they would do it. Honestly it’s so stressful 😆

OP posts:
Tophy124 · 18/11/2022 20:33

@NSx We have a referral for a fertility clinic but no idea what they are going to say! I think we only got the referral as my toddler has a serious genetic condition. My dr didn’t care when I was telling him how long we have been trying or about how bad my endometriosis has been recently. Sorry but I can’t stand male gynecologists! I think I’m going to ask for a woman next time tho I know they aren’t always empathetic either.

NSx · 19/11/2022 13:11

@Tophy124 how are u doing today? Have u retested?
my partner is 36 just turned this month, so he’s going to phone his GP and see if they can do anything for him. 🤞🤞

OP posts:
buttercupbee · 19/11/2022 15:55

@Roxybabe it’s nice to have others at a similar stage :)

Tophy124 · 19/11/2022 17:37

@NSx Got bad cramps today and spotting so I think AF is making her appearance known! Decided to not waste any more tests on this cycle. DH is gone a lot next month so we are out till January.

Fingers crossed they listen to your husband!!
