Oh wow @LucyFraser1981 and some if those are massive! I only do 2 a day and one is really tiny

how is everyone?

I have spotted a tiny bit again today. It must be to do with the miscarriage/CP as I never ever spot at this stage and never have done. I’m not sure whether to worry or not

fsr111 · 28/10/2022 19:49

Wow @LucyFraser1981! What even is all of that?!

LucyFraser1981 · 28/10/2022 20:49

@allgoodthings84 fingers crossed it's just your body gearing up to ovulate?

@fsr111 🀣 well there's evening primrose oil, vitamin D, folate, magnesium x2, ubiquinol (1x large red, 2 x small black), vitamin C, shatavari x2, vitamin b complex, and a peri-menopause multi support concoction x2 😁 once I ovulate I drop the evening primrose oil. The worst one is the vitamin C, that thing is HUGE 🀣 I'm 41 so doing everything I can to support my body. Although really I should also try and lose weight and exercise, but I just can't find anymore motivation/mental energy!

NSx · 28/10/2022 21:06

@LucyFraser1981 πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ u win, I have a lot of pills but not that many…
omega 3, starflower, coq10 (2 big 1 small) vitamin d , vitamin c & Pregnacare conception πŸ’Š

allgoodthings84 · 28/10/2022 21:34

@LucyFraser1981 hopefully although it’s never happened before but then I haven’t had an early miscarriage before so maybe the hormones towards ovulation after the miscarriage is what’s causing the spotting. It’s stopped again. I emailed the midwife centre that I had my booking in session booked in to check it’s normal so will hear back Monday morning hopefully. Luckily it’s not been happening when we have wanted to dtd so it’s not stopped us ttc this cycle so far. This evenings opk was a bit darker so hoping that ovulation will be in next few days so within a normal time for me

I felt mega poorly last night and this morning but feeling nearly normal again now. My Fitbit readings from overnight last night told me to rest and recover today and my RHR, HRV and breathing rate all showed that my body was under stress (illness). I took a covid test and luckily was a stark white. I’m glad it seems like a 24-48 hour thing and again fingers crossed won’t affect anything.

I don’t think I could swallow all of those pills they are huge πŸ˜‚. I thought my but c pills were massive but they aren’t compared to those and my vit b complex pill is about the size of the mini pill contraceptive

LucyFraser1981 · 28/10/2022 21:48

@NSx ahhh the joys of being a 41 year old 🀣 I need alllll the supplements!

@allgoodthings84 hopefully it's just your body settling down, I'd guess it's understandable things could be a bit up and down for a bit.

Sorry you've been poorly, hopefully it's just one of the squillion bugs that's doing the rounds now autumn is upon us.

Yeah I have to say I don't love the vitamin C one, that's like a small brick... 🀣

fsr111 · 28/10/2022 21:54

@LucyFraser1981, I need to up my game! I'm only taking a fertility type supplement - what a lightweight! @allgoodthings84, sorry you've been feeling a bit sick, hope after a weekend you'll feel better. You work Saturdays though, don't you? I've just gone down with a cold and DD has just gone down with chicken pox. Going to be a long week, especially as it's fertile week too! πŸ™ƒ

allgoodthings84 · 28/10/2022 22:01

@LucyFraser1981 you’re a superwoman for taking all of those! Yea I’m taking it that it must be to do with the early loss as it’s not happened before. I won’t let it worry me unless it happens again next cycle.

@fsr111 I think I’ll be all back to normal tomorrow as feeling nearly better now. It’s weird how quick it was. Just a cold as Mir so this time of year I guess. We still dtd tonight as I’m CD12 now as usual as my ovulate CD12-15 so if it’s going to be as normal it’s fertile time now and my opk was darker today that yesterday so didn’t want to not go for it just in case. I’ve had CM too. My Saturday shifts are done now thankfully! I only have to do them September-mid October.

allgoodthings84 · 31/10/2022 07:38

Morning everyone. How were your weekends?

Think I peaked overnight but to be honest not fully sure as this mornings test looks just as dark as last nights so not sure if the peak is to come still but then again last nights and this mornings lines looks just as dark as the control lines but Premom is saying less than 1 so who knows πŸ˜‚ I’m going with overnight as that’s what the app is suggesting.

allgoodthings84 · 31/10/2022 07:40

Forgot the attachment

my partner said β€œyea but usually it’s over 1 for the peak” which I explained it’s a timing thing on this strip tests especially as I have a quick surge. At some point it will have been over 1.

allgoodthings84 · 31/10/2022 09:36

Euughhh I just rang doctors to ask if I can re take my day 21 bloods but it’s got to be approved by my doctor. My doctor isn’t very nice (he’s a good doctor in terms of what he knows but is very dismissive and patronising) so I have a bad feeling he’s going to say no as I got pregnant last cycle. The receptionist was really helpful and booked the appointment ready but it still has to be approved by my doctor before I can take the appointment or it will be cancelled. She said as my doctor is free to do the call on Wednesday morning it has to be him

NSx · 31/10/2022 12:49

Good afternoon πŸ’–
how is everyone ?
cd5 for me today so AF is basically gone, gonna start DTD this wkend πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… another day another cycle of this nonsense.
hope ur all keeping well βœ¨πŸ’•
@allgoodthings84 hopefully they can recheck ur bloods and see what they say, im sure they will be fine, but it’s good for peace of mind isn’t it x

allgoodthings84 · 31/10/2022 13:23

@nsx glad your AF us done and dusted. We started dtd on CD8 as sometime I peak on CD11 but it wouldn’t have been until last night so overnight CD14/15 as not sure whether before or after midnight πŸ˜‚. We stuck at every other day until peak though so will go tonight and hopefully tomorrow night (just in case it was early morning or something as still a chance if it was) then he can have a rest πŸ˜‚. He doesn’t mind now that he knows it can happen though. I think he was gutted about the early miscarriage/CP too.

I’m not too hopeful about being allowed my bloods again as my doctor needs to approve it first which I’m pretty sure he will say no as I clearly ovulate. I kind of agree with them too as at that point I know my progesterone is ok or I wouldn’t have gotten pregnant. They only do the test to check ovulation has occurred. It’s only later on really I need a test to check it doesn’t drop too quickly but i know I need another 2 miscarriages before they will look into that. I’m only asking for day 21 bloods again really for my own interest to compare. It won’t give me peace of mind as I know it must be fine at that point. I don’t even know if I was even pregnant at that stage as it was only early morning of 6dpo. If I don’t get pregnant this cycle the results will show me what my normal levels are. If they are a lot different then I’ll know I had already implanted etc. The results were all very good so be good to know if they are always that good

but yea my doctor is a bit of a patronising git so not expecting him to agree anyway

LucyFraser1981 · 31/10/2022 13:49

Hello all πŸ’—

CD7 for me, so we got jiggy with it last night just for funsies, then partner will be back tomorrow night, and Thursday night, so CD 9 & 11, then we'll be together Friday, Saturday & Sunday evening, so hoping ovulation is same as last cycle and maybe CD12/13. We're away Sunday night for a very much needed hotel stay down in Devon on the banks of the Ruver Taw. Everything is already booked and arranged, so no thinking or organising required, and I can't bloody wait! My boy went back to school today and I am GLAD 🀣 He was hard work all week 😬

Hope you enjoy the DTD week @NSx let the bonking commence!

I have a feeling you're right @allgoodthings84 and your GP will likely refuse the day21 test as they'll just say it's for confirming ovulation, which we know you do. Have you had any other spotting since that rogue appearance a few days ago?

allgoodthings84 · 31/10/2022 14:01

@LucyFraser1981 ooo that sounds like an amazing little break. Happy dtd πŸ˜‚

I had a little bit Friday morning. Just the one toilet trip when I wiped but nothing since so I’m thinking definitely to do with the early miscarriage/CP. I’m glad I didn’t need to worry my partner with it and it didn’t happen when we needed to dtd so didn’t stop us.

I just know he’s going to say no and I get it totally but thought I can all but ask. I’ll mention the spotting before AF and the early miscarriage to him while he’s on the phone and see if he’s anymore bothered that the other GP was about the spotting. Probably not but may as well see as I’ll have him on the phone. Thing is I’ve then got to see him in person next week for my daughters verruca that she’s had since July. At least being a phone appointment for me he won’t know it’s me as the record he will be looking at will be my daughters. I’ve not seen him for 5 years.

NSx · 31/10/2022 15:30

@allgoodthings84 yes I think your right the GP might say it’s pointless but who knows.
fingers crossed you get pregnant this cycle and that’s the end of it 🀞✨
do you think the CP has lengthened your cycle since now you are ovulating later ?
@LucyFraser1981 ooooh that sounds like a fabulous wkend πŸ’—
it’s my partners 36th bday on Friday so I’m sure we will enjoy the DTD more as we have plans involving alcohol πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… going to try take a more relaxed approach this month & DTD every other day until peak - should be OVU cd15 so still got a long way to go 😊

allgoodthings84 · 31/10/2022 16:13

@NSx nah I’ve not ovulated later. My normal is CD12-15 so would be CD15 at night. I think it would have been CD14 like it was last cycle but I got poorly for 24-48 hours and think it set it back as it started to rise a bit then stopped where it usually starts to rise and goes up very quickly like it did yesterday. Started to do it Saturday but stopped.

fsr111 · 01/11/2022 07:24

Hi all, just catching up. Been battling DDs chicken pox and general malaise the past few days, knackered and definitely not feeling totally excited about it being CD8 today and time for the TTC DTD to commence! πŸ™ƒ Hope your dr agrees to the day 21 bloods again or at least discusses your concerns about the spotting with you @allgoodthings84, it would be nice to be able to put your mind at rest about it. I'm going to call for day 3 bloods today. @LucyFraser1981, sounds like you have a perfect weekend planned! Will be so nice to just relax and hopefully take your mind off everything else for a couple of days.

LucyFraser1981 · 01/11/2022 17:45

@allgoodthings84 how did it go, did you speak to the GP?
I can't wait for the weekend, some quality time together is very much needed πŸ’—

@NSx oooh sounds like you've got a fun weekend planned too! I may have a drink while were away, it'll be the first time since June, so I'll probably be squiffy immediately πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€£

@fsr111 ooof, poor you guys, seems like there's lots of CP doing the rounds at the moment, lots of mama's in my Facebook group dealing with it in the last couple of weeks 😣 Hope your daughter's feeling better?
CD8 for me too, actually looking forward to all the boinking, much more than the last few months actually, think it helps that my fertile days/ovulation are falling on a child free weekend, especially with likely ovulation day being when we're at the hotel! Can't wait to have 48 hours of absolutely no cooking, cleaning, decision making etc! πŸ₯°πŸ₯³

LucyFraser1981 · 01/11/2022 17:47

Oooh, and an update to my Ava fertility bracelet, think I've got the hang of it now; discovered it's much more comfortable to wear it with the sensor on the inside of my wrist. So I think I'm sleeping a bit better as I now no longer have it in the back of my mind that I need to remember to take my temp after a block of sleep etc. So even though I cannot stand things round my wrist (never wear a watch, and don't even like long sleeves!) I am persevering! Will be interesting to see if it shows a clear biphasic shift like I usually get after ovulation πŸ€”

allgoodthings84 · 01/11/2022 17:49

@fsr111 eeuughhh nooo not nasty chicken pox. I hope she’s ok?

@LucyFraser1981 the GP call is tomorrow morning β€œat some point”. So annoying as the can’t give a time so I’ve got to be waiting around for the call. Good thing I had tomorrow booked off anyway or I wouldn’t have been able to. I’m dreading it if I’m honest as he’s so dismissive and patronising with normal things so I can I shine what he’s going to be like with this

fsr111 · 01/11/2022 19:19

Thanks @allgoodthings84, @LucyFraser1981, been a long few days! πŸ™€ I think she's over the worst of it now and back to her (cheeky) self, but she was quite poorly over the weekend. Nasty bug, but at least one I know we're not going to get! Called the GP about my day 3 results and they said they were "all fine". Might call back for the actual numbers, although not sure if I'll just fixate, probably don't need anything else to worry about! Your weekend sounds absolutely blissful @LucyFraser1981! Good luck tomorrow @allgoodthings84, hope the Dr can get over himself!

allgoodthings84 · 02/11/2022 10:23

Oh wow my doctor was just extremely helpful and empathetic about the miscarriage! I’m shocked. He said he doesn’t think the day 21 tests will tell us much but as they are already booked to go along anyway and then when results are in to email him reminding him that he said he would talk to gynae specialists about my results from both last cycle and this cycle and my progesterone dropping too early concerns.

He said that that clearly we can both conceive and as we did last cycle. He said that my progesterone at that stage was really good (51.5) and he thinks it would have been too early (6dpo) for it to have been that high just because of the pregnancy even if I had already implanted by then but the tests Monday will confirm if he’s right.

He actually understands progesterone unlike a lot of other gp’s (including the one I spoke to last time) and said he doesn’t think the miscarriage is linked because my 21 day results were so high it would have had to plummet massively very quickly to have caused the miscarriage but he does understand that I’m concerned about the pre AF spotting so where they usually wait until 3 miscarriages before talking to gynae he will contact them after Mondays test results come back but they might still say wait for 3 miscarriages but he will try.

He was just really lovely and listened and took my concerns seriously even though he doesn’t think I’ve got anything to worry about personally he could tell I really was worried so wants to help.

allgoodthings84 · 02/11/2022 10:25

He also said they consider anything over 30 for the progesterone test a strong ovulation
