Our SMEP plans continue.... The old thread is almost full, so I started a new thread so we can continue on SMEP-ing to a BFP ✨☺️✨

@fsr111 im only 2dpo, so you’re one day behind me 😅 AF isn’t due until 27th so I might have lost my marbles by then, when are u due? Will u test? I don’t think I will, it’s always a disappointment 🥹

Ladies I’m not going to be around for a little while. This baby isn’t going to stick. I’m just waiting for the bleeding now. I’m devastated 😢

@allgoodthings84 I'm really so sorry. It's so unfair. I had one before and worried it wouldn't happen for me again or there was something wrong. It wasn't true and I read they happen in 30% of all pregnancies. I don't know if stats like that help you, but it did for me. And I did get pregnant again. Bit this period of waiting is horrible, and the spoiled hopes. Sending my love.

@LucyFraser1981 I'm okay thanks, I just have a lot going on at the moment and so haven't tried the last cycle or two. Will get back on it soon

Thanks ladies. I know a lot of you know how it feels and I’m glad I can talk here. I’m at work until 12 (just on break) and just trying to hold it together so no one notices. I feel so bad for my partner too as my body has let us down. At least I know I can get pregnant now I suppose so need to just keep trying. I’m thinking probably a progesterone issue and that’s why I spot too. Maybe it drops too soon even though it’s high at 6dpo. I don’t think the nhs will do anything for us now though as I can get pregnant and they will just see that my bloods were all good

How long does it usually take to start bleeding does anyone know? It’s this waiting then it starting that’s going to hurt. Then I guess we go again and keep trying. Going to have a miserable birthday now but is what it is

@allgoodthings84 your body hasn't let anyone down. It can be something with the sperm, the egg, just failing to fully implant etc. It's absolutely not your fault. Please don't think that, you haven't let anyone down.

I would also think your progesterone is okay - it was high in your blood test and you don't start spotting until quite late in your cycle. There would be enough time to implant. My problem spotting was at about 8dpo, so they said it was an issue because the embryo implants between days 6-9 most commonly. Otherwise spotting later on can be totally normal. Maybe you could speak to your Dr about it

@allgoodthings84, I'm so sorry to see this. TTC is so cruel. Look after yourself, hope you make it through to the end of your work day and can get gone and take some time to process everything and whatever you do, don't blame yourself. Thinking of you 🤍

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 my spotting usually starts 9/10dpo so only any good if I implant before this and I’m thinking maybe this time I did implant before but only just. My GP ignored the fact that the spotting is an issue when I tried to talk about it unfortunately 😞

What supplements are you taking @allgoodthings84 ? I've done a quick Google and vitamin C is a good one to help increase luteal phase and potentially increase progesterone? Sorry if you already know that. But please don't think you've failed, these CP are so common, at any age, and the only reason more people don't realise they have them is because not everyone tests as early as we do when actively TTC. There are so many reasons it could have happened, please be as kind to yourself now as if you were talking to one of us. I know you'd not call any of us failures, so allow yourself to be sad and angry and disappointed, because those are all valid feelings, but please don't feel guilty, you've done nothing wrong. @LucyFraser1981 thank you. I am finally home and going to have a shower and let myself cry. I already take vitamin C 😊 and vitamin B complex to try and help with my spotting. It used to always be 9dpo now is often 10dpo so one of them has helped a tiny bit.

These are the tests next to each other. Top is 14dpo and bottom 16dpo. I’m wondering how long it will be until I start bleeding. I feel no different yet so it’s just a horrible waiting game. I just want it done so we can try again. I won’t get excited by a faint bfp again though 😞

@allgoodthings84 might sound stupid but do you think there’s anyway at all your urine is diluted ?

@NSx they were both FMU. I had to pee last night so not quite as long a hold but was still over 6 hours. I’ve got the one last frer that I will take either in morning or Monday morning. I know be better to leave longer until Monday but then I’ll have to go to work right after again and it’s hard having to act normal so thinking I may just do it tomorrow.

@allgoodthings84 totally understand - I hope it’s just a dodgy test/diluted wee or something, I really do hope there’s another reason ✨✨✨

@NSx you more than understand unfortunately 😞. I can’t imagine how it must have felt for you, this is bad enough. I’m not going anywhere I still need to see everyone else’s bfp and if this is going the way I think it is hopefully my own again soon

what I’ve learned is that life is cruel sometimes and it doesn’t make sense and is very unfair, but I guess we just need to try and have hope and trust the process…
