@BethSuz27 you may not have had enough hcg when you tested last! Maybe go off the one tomorrow? Good luck and I hope you get positive news tomorrow

BethSuz27 · 19/09/2022 19:15

@Bananatoast123 I hope so! I’ll let you know!

DesertSnow · 19/09/2022 19:40

@Bananatoast123 and @BethSuz27 everything crossed for you both, let us know!

BethSuz27 · 19/09/2022 20:28

Also getting some nausea tonight so 🤞🏻

DanisEndo · 19/09/2022 21:16

CD34 and due AF any day between now up to CD41(ish). Super sensitive boobs last few days, really sore throat today and the odd shooting pelvic pain. Not holding out too much hope (but still some!) not sure when to test? Or what tests to order? Any advice?

BethSuz27 · 19/09/2022 22:21

I’ve got an achey leg this evening which I usually get before AF but it’s usually both thighs and it’s my ankle/calf on one side so kinda expecting AF but it may also not be

Bananatoast123 · 20/09/2022 06:03

Had a bad nights sleep (woke up 3am unable to get back to sleep) which is classic AF is coming signs. Usually I get this 4 nights before which has been weird. Woke up and AF has arrived full on!

Onto cycle 8, this feels hard after a few weird days of hope. I’m going to step back for a bit and try get my mental strength back

BethSuz27 · 20/09/2022 08:57

17dpo I think now…

had this this morning, does anyone have good line eyes??

I think I can see the faintest line, and it did appear within the first 3 minutes, planning to take another in 2 days but what do you think?

DanisEndo · 20/09/2022 10:15

@BethSuz27 so sorry i cant see a second line in that picture although sometimes they're not as clear as they are in real life. defo re-test in a couple of days in case you ovulated later than you thought! Best of luck xx

Firsttimetrying2022 · 20/09/2022 13:45

AF arrived this morning - onto the next cycle. Hopefully will have better luck this time. I use CB digital advanced OPKs and BBT with Natural Cycles. Is there anything else you guys are doing to improve chances?

BritishDesiGirl · 20/09/2022 13:49

Day 7PO for me. Just markin this thread as l seem to alway lose it!!

Houseelf90 · 20/09/2022 13:59

Just been to the loo at work and looks like AF has arrived early! Should have been due on Friday 😩 usually I would hope it’s implantation bleeding but not getting my hopes up considering I’m not sure I even ovulated this month!

All of a sudden we have gone from just starting to TTC to now going into our 3rd cycle….I know this is not that long and many of you have been trying much longer but I can’t help feeling a bit disappointed!

Firsttimetrying2022 · 20/09/2022 14:01

@Houseelf90 I know what you mean. We're going into our 3rd cycle now and it feels like that's come around really quickly. Fingers crossed we have better luck this cycle!

Houseelf90 · 20/09/2022 14:10

@Firsttimetrying2022 the cycles just go so quickly don’t they! I was going to ask if this was your first but I am guessing so from your name 😂

Firsttimetrying2022 · 20/09/2022 14:21

@Houseelf90 yes it's our first time. What about you?

Houseelf90 · 20/09/2022 14:31

@Firsttimetrying2022 it’s my first but my partners 3rd!

ScarletDreams · 20/09/2022 17:59

Hi everyone, can I join you all?
Me 32 and my partner 37 are just starting our journey of TTC. I came off the desogestrel pill a few weeks ago and I'm waiting on AF so I can begin tracking. Excited but nervous. We haven't told anyone that we are ttc as we don't want the added stress, it took my mother 5 years of trying for her 1st. Really hoping it doesn't take us as long. I've been reading through the threads as I felt completely clueless and I already feel that I have learnt a lot.
Hope you are all well.

SarahShorty · 20/09/2022 18:51

@ScarletDreams of course you can! xx Hello and welcome!

With regards to TTC, it's different for everyone. Couples are different, circumstances are different etc I'm on cycle #6 and because my cycles are between 32 and 35 days in length, technically this is month #8 for me.

DH and I prayed that it wouldn't take 6 months, yet here we are! And that's on top of knowing that his parents conceived both of their children in 2 cycles both times and never miscarried (as far as we know and bearing in mind this was back in the 80s)! Saying that, I have been pregnant twice in the last 8 months and sadly miscarried both very early. Some people just have better luck than others.

Try to relax (that phrase pissed me off aswell at the beginning) and take each day as it comes. It seems to be the trial and error of figuring out what works that takes the time, as I lost 3 cycles to SMEP (Sperm Meets Egg Plan) as it doesn't work for us.

If you can, do get yourself and your partner a fertility MOT just to make sure everything is good under the hood, as it's better to discover issues early and act on them so you don't potentially end up putting yourself through misery with each passing month.

Something that helped to put it all into perspective for me was The Great Sperm Race. It is a documentary that goes into the fine details of how the woman's egg is fertilised and the journey, trials and tribulations the man's sperm face.

And finally, we're all here to support you during the highs and the lows as sometimes TTC can be all-consuming. TTC will likely be one of the most memorable journeys you'll ever take. Women get pregnant every day all over the world, so it is possible and we must remember that will all get our babies one way or another.

PinkButtercups · 20/09/2022 20:51

I woke up today and it suddenly hit me that my due date is in 14 weeks.... 14 weeks! Well actually technically if they stayed nice and cooped up until at least 36 weeks when they plan to induce or c section it's actually 10 weeks!

This pregnancy has gone so fast!

Jennifer89 · 20/09/2022 21:07

Hello ladies, I have been quiet on here as due to certain reasons delated ttc and this month was first month trying. I have had what seems to be spotting before period today and took pregnancy test today (at 12 dpo) which was negative. I am likely getting my hopes up but been getting symptoms such as cramping and light brown/pink spotting around 7-9 dpo which started to make me think I could be pregnant.
Has anyone else had typical pregnancy symptoms but turned out not pregnant? I feel like my body has been playing tricks on me this month.

Bananatoast123 · 20/09/2022 23:15

@Firsttimetrying2022 @Houseelf90 I think all 3 of us got AF visiting today! The cycles do go quickly, we’re onto cycle 8 and still no positive! I feel like I’ve blinked from 3 to 8 so quickly. We’ll make it though 💪🏽 and who knows, this new cycle might be our one!!

Look after yourselves and have a treat during AF x

Nypie · 20/09/2022 23:18

Hey @Jennifer89 unfortunately yes, pregnancy and preriod symptoms can be quite closely related as its mostly the same hormones that cause them and we pay alot of attention to our bodies at this time. It doesn't mean it's not your month though maybe test again on thursday the spotting and cramping sounds like it could be implantation. When is af due? 🤞🤞🤞

Houseelf90 · 21/09/2022 06:18

@Bananatoast123 they say things come in 3’s….let’s hope for 3 BFP’s next month! I hope you’re having a treat, fingers crossed cycle 8 is your one!

Jennifer89 · 21/09/2022 07:23

@Nypie is confusing isn't it as some of the period/early pregnancy symptoms overlap. This month just seemed different as spotting I have been getting has been different to usual spotting I get before period. AF is due tomorrow so will see if it arrives. I will test again on Friday if no sign of AF. Will wait and see but trying not to get my hopes up and put into perspective that is has only been first month ttc..

HeathenPlayingHouse · 21/09/2022 07:52

Morning all, hope everyone is well ❤️

CD39 for me, not sure whether the Clomid sent the cycle a bit haywire but I got a BFN before I started on the Provera- today is Day 7 of 12.
