Has anyone ever experienced this? LH went up slightly and then back down, have I potentially missed it last night?
im going to test again this afternoon/evening and see what it says…. Even if it was last night it doesn’t matter so much because we dtd but I’m so confused!

SarahShorty · 07/10/2022 10:35

@missmoosh that looks like a faint positive to me. Tentative congratulations xx

It's worth noting that not everyone gets a clear line with FMU, but rather with second or third morning urine. Some women get a clear line in the evening. Everyone's different.

9DPO today. I have a feeling this cycle will end with nothing, but that's better than something that then goes on to die soon after. My BBT has risen, so the BBT dip I had could have been implantation, though it could just have been a rise in estrogen which happens regardless.

I got my dates mixed up with regards to the follow-up consultation for my DH's semen analysis, it's actually Tuesday next week, not Thursday. That'll be 13DPO, so the next day I'll see if I start bleeding 🙃Maybe we'll hit the jackpot this time.

missmoosh · 07/10/2022 11:06

@SarahShorty Thank you, I tested again and it was negative but was only like 2 hours later, so I will stop POAS for the day now and wait until tomorrow...

Hopefully it was an implantation dip! I really hope all goes well for you and the analysis is all good.

Jade57 · 07/10/2022 11:15

@missmoosh my clear blue took another day or 2 to show positive

missmoosh · 07/10/2022 11:32

@Jade57 was that on the early detection one? I know CB tests can take a lot longer to show, so kinda wanna hold out on using them, I think if I get a negative tomorrow then I will just wait until Monday when AF is actually due. The more I stare at the picture the less I see 😂

PinkButtercups · 07/10/2022 11:46

Babies are all looking good (touch wood).

Twin 1 is now breech so hoping they will turn head down before they make their arrival. It's twin 1 I need to be head down to be able to go ahead for vaginal birth.

Twin 2 is curled up all snug and feet are now ok the left where twin 1's legs also are so that's why I haven't felt movement on my right. Still need to keep an eye on it though as they can change positions and she reassured me to come in whenever I have reduced movements.

They're weighing one pound apart atm 🥰♥️.

PinkButtercups · 07/10/2022 11:46

On* not ok

Jade57 · 07/10/2022 11:55

@missmoosh it was the digital one. Fingers crossed for u!!

Dreamingof3 · 07/10/2022 11:56

@PinkButtercups glad to hear it!

Had my first consultant appt today and even though I said I wouldn't cry....I did 🙃 but I don't have to see them again until 28 weeks so time to grow some backbone haha

PinkButtercups · 07/10/2022 12:19

I didn't mean a pound apart I meant an oz apart 🤣. Baby brain.

@Dreamingof3 Oh bless you! I got my consultant every 4 weeks. See them again on Tuesday.

LucyLoopyLu · 07/10/2022 13:23

@Bananatoast123 Yeah I know what you mean, all the testing etc does get stressful. Really hope this is your time!

I've got some light bleeding today so calling this CD1 of cycle 7. 6 cycles not an inkling of a BFP 😪 my OH really wants to get us booked in for private testing now. I am tempted to give it one more cycle but will decide this weekend. I'm 34 on the 26th, if I was a year older I could go straight to GP next month so I am tempted to spend on getting some tests just to see whether there is an issue. But I am scared! I hate doctors.

@Dreamingof3 oh no hope you're ok. If it's any consolation I almost always cry when I have to go to the doctors, I am always really stressed and scared and it just comes out as tears. I also have a terrible needle phobia so I am always making a fool of myself. I'm sure they take it all in their stride though

@missmoosh keep us updated! Fingers crossed for you tomorrow

LucyLoopyLu · 07/10/2022 13:24

@PinkButtercups so glad all is OK with the twins! Fingers crossed twin 1 will turn soon too! X

Bananatoast123 · 07/10/2022 14:05

@LucyLoopyLu I know exactly how you feel! Cycle 6 I found hard to not get a BFP on! If it reassures you I’m 27 and 8 months in and no sniff of a BFP at all! Body has teased and not teased! I got some testing done at 6 months too (we had the other side to you in that we are young and healthy and tracking so why was it not happening)!

I used a home blood test called Hertility which was cheaper than I’d expected! It was really easy and the OH helped collect my blood for me! It tested my day 3 bloods like FSH, OH, LH and AMH! All came back within normal range which made me even more so like what’s not happening! I then rang the GP like can you talk through stuff and she decided to run all the normal bloods like iron, vitamins etc! And they came back to be the healthiest I’ve ever been! But what was reassuring is she gave some tips on lifestyle things and said to come back in a few months again so now we have a point of contact! My OH hasn’t been tested, we will do that in January but he’s taken on the lifestyle changes and It’s relaxed me knowing it’s probably down to chance and not me (don’t want to jinx it!)… GP even said to keep up my massages etc if it’s bringing down signs of high cortisol!

so what I’m trying to say is… go for it! If it gives you peace of mind and helps you mentally (as a minimum), then nothing to lose! I always think be proactive than reactive and I think GPs are far more understanding!

SarahShorty · 07/10/2022 14:21

Adding to @Bananatoast123 's post above; progesterone checks are a good idea, too. If you've had a very early loss or are concerned with your ability to carry, you can get a blood test to check your progesterone levels if you get a positive on an early HCG test. I ordered one the other day from MediChecks for £62. Much better than trying to get an appointment with your GP and cuts out the extra step during that crucial time.

Dreamingof3 · 07/10/2022 15:32

@LucyLoopyLu thank you, I'm just rubbish at speaking up for myself. It's because I want to have a vba2c and all they want to do is tell me the risks involved....like there aren't risks for a 3rd c section 😑 taking my partner to the next one!

Bananatoast123 · 07/10/2022 18:04

@SarahShorty good to hear you’ve tried to Medichecks as this where we were going to start with my OH for testosterone etc! I was also going to try the progesterone day 21 one if it’s not happened for us by December! I think I’m ok with my levels though as I do get progesterone symptoms / signs at like 6/7dpo, but again for peace of mind I will check incase this is our problem!

My Oh is now taking testoboosters to see if that helps too!

missmoosh · 08/10/2022 07:31

Negative test this morning after yesterday's squinter....must have just been an evap line yesterday!

DesertSnow · 08/10/2022 20:39

Hi all, I'm back from my holiday so checking in. I've missed lots of messages, but saw that you had a scare @PinkButtercups, hope all ok now and it's all smooth sailing from now on.

Got in a bit of a panic as I got a text from the GP while I was away asking to call them about my blood results, so assumed they'd found something. Spoke to them yesterday and they said my results were 'broadly fine', though they can't really tell re. progresterone because of when in my cycle it was taken. I might look into a private test as they said they wouldn't do a '21 day' one until we've been trying for a year, even though with a 7/8 day LP it seems a bit pointless. Guess it means things are ok with my thyroid though, so that's something.

Hope everyone is ok.

PinkButtercups · 08/10/2022 21:25

@DesertSnow thank you.

Hope your holiday was fine.

Oh my gosh why would they do that?! I suffer with health anxiety and that would've pushed me over!

PinkButtercups · 08/10/2022 21:25

@DesertSnow I meant holiday was good not fine 🤣.

SarahShorty · 08/10/2022 21:29

10DPO, CD34 today. It's a longer cycle at 38 days, so it's a slog. I have all the usual symptoms of PMS and 4 more days to go before I get an answer. DH and I are bracing for the results of his test on Tuesday. We know his count is in the low range of normal and motility also low, however, the clinic is focusing on morphology. I suppose it makes sense seeing as I have had two conceptions in 6 cycles, it's possible they'll want us to try for a little longer. Nobody goes through IVF etc by choice.

I've noticed seeing pregnant women and newborns and small children doesn't sting like it used to, it just aches. I used to get so upset, but not so much anymore. It's not because my want for babies is waining, it's more that it tires me out. While doing my weekly shopping today, I ended up unwittingly standing back to back with a woman with a large baby bump and as I turned and walked the other way, I caught a glimpse of the bump and gritted my teeth, DH just looked at me as if to say "I know, I know." We don't have the same fortune as others and nothing either of us do will change that. It will happen when it happens.

BethSuz27 · 09/10/2022 11:32

is this normal? I was expecting to ovulate today but my LH rose slightly a few days ago and has stayed around 0.57-0.63 for the last few days? Am I still going to get my peak?

Preparing to TTC in 2022 part 6
LucyLoopyLu · 09/10/2022 12:10

@BethSuz27 I'm not sure (can't see the photo well on the app and by no means an expert) but might be that you missed your peak, or it's still coming and just taking a while. Definitely keep testing and DTD throughout. It might just be a slightly wonky cycle

@SarahShorty hi, hope you're ok. Which cycle are you on now? I am finding seeing other people pregnant is harder and harder not easier. Currently mentally preparing myself for a XMas / NY where I will be the only one not either pregnant or with their families already.

It's easier when I'm just in my little bubble at home with my husband not talking to anyone else (but that is pretty miserable after a while too)

BethSuz27 · 09/10/2022 12:26

@LucyLoopyLu its definitley darker than the first two days at CD8/9, maybe just a longer surge

SarahShorty · 09/10/2022 13:32

@LucyLoopyLu hey, I'm okay xx I hope you are likewise. This is cycle #6. But because my cycles are not 28-30 days, it's also been about 8 months. It's rotten. My 35th birthday is next month, too.
